We enjoyed our stay at the home, however, it was cut short due to Tropical Storm Debby. Our children and grandchildren enjoyed kayaking to the springs which are very close by.

Great stay, house is well maintained and full of amenities. Very spacious and we loved the kayaks and direct access to the springs.

Home was spacious enough for our 7 person party. Kayaking a short distance to the spring was a huge added bonus.

We loved the location with a short boat trip to the springs. The backyard area with fire pit was Thoroughly enjoyed. We rented a boat and was out most of the day. My only recommendation, if you like soft pillows, make sure you bring one with you.

We love Homosassa and this house is great for a large family getaway! House has EVERYTHING you need! Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds (bring your own pillow if you don't care for firm pillows - they are nice, but firm) multiple kayaks for your use, fire pit, corn hole, games room! Great quiet location. We will definitely stay again!
4.0 / 5.0
Spacious house. Beds were comfortable, although most pillows were huge and hard (more decorative than functional). Great decks and loved having access to kayaks that we could easily launch from the dock. Appreciated nightlights all over the house, A few cons: watered-down soap in the dispensers, no dressers to unpack into (although lots of closet space) and no lamps anywhere in the house so overhead lights were the only option for light in the evenings. But most of those negatives were personal preferences and overall the place worked well for our family.

We come to Homosassa and have stayed at many homes nearby. This one was unique because it had a lovely concrete area for our kids to ride scooters and draw with chalk when we weren’t on the water. The home has two docks and very easy access to the water. The home is located down a more narrow part of the river so the neighboring homes were very visible and there were several times we were outside and could easily hear the conversations from the house right across from us. Not a huge issue, but it was less privacy.
In general, the home is spacious, has plenty of beds and bathrooms and a lovely kitchen. We loved the balconies and there were tons of kayaks to use. The fire pit is right next to the water which was nice. I would bring a few additional paper towels, trash bags, laundry pods and dish pods because they don’t provide quite enough for a full weeks stay but we did have a large group (4adults 5 young kids) so we didn’t mind.
Great stay - we would stay again!

A wonderful and relaxing stay! The house was very clean, comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we'd need (minus the food 😉 ). Kayaks were easy to launch right from the dock. Beautiful river! Super-close to the state park. Would absolutely stay here again!

The location was great- quiet cul de sac off the main road, and easy water access to Halls River from the canal behind the house. The house was very clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. We enjoyed playing cards & games in the rec room. The outdoor space and kayaks were a hit as well. It was warm out & noseeums were active in the evenings so we didn't get to enjoy the firepit but it looked nice. The only negative was the pillows were too large & firm for me but that's why you bring your own! I would absolutely book this house again.

Loved the kayaking from the house dock

Out of all the homes I've rented for vacations, this one had the most amenities/supplies. The kitchen was stocked as if a professional chef could create gourmet meals. I've never seen another vacation home with everything you could dream of for cooking/baking. I've become good at bringing extra supplies to vacation rentals - like extra paper towels, toilet paper and garbage bags and I didn't need to use my own as this rental had enough supplied for our 3 day vacation.
We loved seeing the manatee swim by while lounging on one of the two decks or on the dock. The amount of kayaks supplied with this rental was more than enough for the 6 adults we had. We loved playing ping pong on the one rainy evening we had. And the fire pit was perfect for the non-rainy nights.
We had a few questions for the property manager and/or her assistant and they communicated promptly.
Besides being well stocked, this home is well taken care of, beautifully decorated and super clean. Best vacation home I've ever rented!

Wow! What a great place. Huge house with plenty of room for 6-9 people. The private river access is sublime, the kitchen is perfectly stocked, and manatees are right outside the door. I loved this house and will be back soon!

Pristine Property; Complicated Cleaning Instructions
Gorgeous—Spacious three story home; beautiful location—- could easily accommodate two families. Everything supplied from kayaks to blow dryer—- the only negatives were—- they deligated too many cleaning duties to guest vs cleaning service— for example—trash can outside was packed upon our arrival and we had to drag it to the street—- we discovered several pages of cleaning instructions stapled to kitchen bulletin board—- telling us when and how to take trash out—- recycling bin was also full so we weren’t able to separate trash as instructed. Upon departure—- we had to strip all beds used and put linen in pile—-clean out the lint in the dryer—- open the washing machine door—-empty trash cans for all floors—- remove all trash from house (thin plastic bag burst and we had to figure that out the best we could) put temp at 78— run dish washer if we used any dishes—- etc. since guest are charged a significant cleaning fee—- it’s is unreasonable to put so many house cleaning tasks on guests—- plus there is a 10am check-out time. However— other than those annoying “housekeeping chores” we enjoyed our stay—- how could we not— it’s a slice of old Florida waterfront—some people could find the flight of stairs up to the first floor—- and the additional stairs to the game room and extra bedrooms challenging or inconvenient—- particularly when you are downstairs enjoying the outside—- and realize you left something on the top floor. Decor was fun— house is very clean.

Great experience staying in the fish bowl!
This home's location is a gem and it has it all; however, if you have a trailer, the road is one-lane and dead ends (tricky to maneuver and you have to back out). The kitchen is fully stocked (which was important for us since we cook every meal); however, the plates were not microwavable. This was a challenge since I meal prep everything for the next day. The pingpong and card table were fun. The kayaks were a huge bonus. The grill worked great. We never used the fire pit, but we did enjoy jumping off the dock into the spring. Manatees, fish, rope swing, and fun at this spring. The beds are very firm and most of the pillows are rock hard. We did find some softer ones to use though. If you are particular, bring your own. Having the upstairs fridge and kitchenette was convenient. The 3 bedrm/3 bath set up was perfect for our family of 4. Scallops were not as plentiful as last year, but we still had a great time and brought home just enough for a ceviche appetizer. Management did take care of a few missing necessities and was responsive. The home was spotless and we would stay here again.

Couldn't get dreamier
We fell in love with this house, canal, kayaking, and visiting the manatees that hang out just beyond the canal, even in the heat of June. The manatees swam up the canal one evening. So fun to watch! The house is beyond relaxing and fun. Sitting on one of the balconies or the deck on the canal at night felt like evenings on the Bayou, just magical. We watched flopping fish and saw a turtle. The party lights made for a fun atmosphere! Not a lot of bugs except when we kayaked at dusk. Super quiet cul-de-sac road and dead-end canal. Kayaks for 6 plus 2 kiddie kayaks, life jackets for adults and at least two children, super easy launch, lots of water floaties and plenty of pool towels. Kitchen is very well-stocked, even a cupboard of spices and popping corn & popper. Only concern is the broken locks on the bathroom doors. Lots of stairs, I had a hard time distinguishing the bottom step coming down from the game room.
This home and location were just perfect!

The property was beautiful and clean and the property manager was great to communicate with and very responsive and fast. The canoe need a little care and there was no wood for fire pit but we were able to grab some from Hardware store. The water was amazing saw manatees from dock and was able to fish and lots of swimming! Our family enjoyed all the games provided we loved this gem and hope to stay again soon it was perfect for our family!!

New Build, Great Location
Spacious property, new construction, big TVs. Short kayak to manatees. Responsive host, called a repairman to fix an electrical issue during our stay. Would definitely stay again!

Nice space
We had to check in later than expected due to the cleaners still being there, but the management team was gracious and compensated us for a meal as an apology. The house was great. We loved ping pong, kayaking (water is sooo accessible), and the super stocked kitchen. Mattresses were really firm and pillows were dense, so that was our only complaint.

perfect location
5 adults stayed here and it was perfect suited to our wants and needs. The kitchen is very well supplied. The location is wonderful for kayaking with the provided kayaks to hang out with manatees. We did most of our own cooking, so can't comment on restaurants.
Publix is about a mile away and Walmart about 3 miles. Can't wait to go back.

Location, location, location
We had 5 adults staying in the house and it perfectly suited our needs. The kitchen has everything anyone would need.
Fire pit is great. And the kayaking is wonderful. The manatees are just 5 minutes away, and some do swim down the canal the house is on. We had a perfect week and will probably go back next year.

We had a blast staying here and will for sure be coming back! The weather wasn't great for us but we made the best of it and still had a blast because of the amazing amenities this house has!

Such a fun stay!!
Everything you could want in a property! The amenities were amazing, the house is beautiful and you are right on Homosassa Spring! Just a short kayak trip (they have plenty of kayaks too) and we were surrounded by Manatees! Was an amazing stay!!

Hidden Paradise
A great location on the river (right next to the Homosassa State Park) with a large boat dock, smaller kayak dock, two levels of outdoor decks, and game room made this house a perfect fit for our young family of 5 and grandparents. The house is fully stocked with plenty of linens, a well-appointed kitchen, ping pong table, poker/bumper pool table, HUGE tv, game/movie closet, and garage room filled with water toys and lifejackets. We spent 4 nights here and enjoyed kayaking, exploring the park, swimming, and took a snorkeling tour to see the manatees. Highly recommend this clean, spacious home for families or couples.

Amazing stay at an amazing property!
My family and I stayed at this home for a week in October of 2021, with 2 adults and 5 kids ages 5-17. It was well equipped with almost everything we needed.
The kitchen was stocked with every pot, pan, and utensil needed, plus soap and cleaning supplies. The only things we needed more of were dishwasher detergent and trash bags, both of which were supplied in limited quantities, but as a large family who cooked every meal in the house, we did run out before our stay was over.
The washing machine and dryer were new and worked well, with super fast drying times which was ideal for drying bathing suits during lunch between trips out on the river.
Bathrooms were spacious and clean, and there were hotel-style bars of soap and shampoo provided. Be aware that the bathrooms all have pocket doors and none of them lock. Not a huge deal, but with teenagers who NEED their privacy and younger kids who don’t always remember to knock, it did create some conflict for us.
The beds were all very nice, except for the pillows, which were rock hard. We brought our own and slept very comfortably. The couches were also nice and comfy and there was plenty of seating in the common rooms and on the decks.
The outdoor area was absolutely incredible. Views of the river from the decks were amazing, fire pit and dock area were beautiful and spacious. My kids loved the large paved space under the house, where they were able to ride their scooters. We saw so many frogs and lizards in the evenings!
The provided kayaks and location on the river were probably the best parts of the house. There were 5 very nice kayaks, one of which was a two seater, and 5 adult and 1 youth life jacket. It was a five minute paddle in one direction to the wildlife park where we saw manatees almost every day, and a 5 minute paddle in the other direction to the head of the river, where we could tie up the kayaks in shallow, crystal clear (but cold!) water and snorkel and swim.
My only small complaint is that the house’s private dock was in use by a company of some sort during our stay. Every morning they parked in front of the house and took the boats that were docked there and brought them back every evening. It wasn’t an issue except that we didn’t know in advance, so we were a bit freaked out the first day by people who didn’t identify themselves taking the boats that we assumed belonged to the house!
Overall, 5/5 stars, highly recommended!

Great stay
Perfect location for the springs (if you bring a boat make sure you have no ttop as the bridge is low, but that's mentioned) and getting to local restaurants and stores. Fun house with plenty to do.

Awesome location, very close to the springs, peaceful. The house was impressive and spacious. 5 Kayaks were provided along with life jackets and flotation devices. Great fire pit. We plan to build a similar one at our personal home! The property managers answered questions within minutes. Plenty of towels provided. Wish the mattresses and pillows were more comfortable. I would recommend bringing your own pillow if your pampered like us ;p. A Keurig would have been preferable to the standard Mr Coffee machine. Beside those few things, I would definitely return next time we stay in Homossassa area.

Fun trip with manatee
My family and friend’s family rented this canal front home. We had a lot of fun on the river and saw many manatee on our close by kayak trips. There were many kayaks! We enjoyed s’mores at the fire pit. We rented a pontoon boat and used the dock. Inside we cooked several meals and played all the games! We all had a great time at this special spot! Thanks

Amazing House in the Perfect Location
This house was everything we could have asked for. The location was perfect and all amenities were included. We kayaked down to the springs and the kids fished right off the dock. The back porch was huge with an outdoor grill and fire pit. The house was immaculate and the owners paid attention to all details. We were impressed with all that was included and will definitely be back. Great for families!
