About this house rental

Summary:

Centrally located near the University of Oregon, with easy access to I-5. The home is located in a quiet, desirable South Eugene neighborhood with lots of room for indoor and outdoor dining and entertaining so you'll be able to bring your whole family. Home has a private fenced backyard with a covered patio, hot tub, gas grill and terrace garden. Bright, open concept great room with a gas fireplace and a well-stocked chef's kitchen.

The Space:

The House at Stone Crest is a spacious and comfortable 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home that sleeps 8 in beds and 2 on an airbed (if necessary). The master suite is located on the main level and has a king-sized bed, custom built-in closet, ensuite bath with walk-in shower. Two guest bedrooms upstairs have king-sized bed and the third bedroom has a queen-sized bed with one guest bath located upstairs. The living room/great room has a sectional with additional guest seating and a large TV. All bedrooms and the patio are equipped with TVs. The patio is set up for outdoor dining and entertaining and has a table, chairs, umbrellas, and a TV and a hot tub. Please note that events or parties of any kind are strictly prohibited and a noise ordinance of 10pm must be followed.

Guest Access:

The house is situated in a hilly neighborhood and there are many steps to the front door. There is a 2 car garage as well as street parking. House is accessible from the side and has only 2 steps in the back door, if many steps are an issue.

The Neighborhood:

The House at Stone Crest is located approximately 2 miles from the University of Oregon in the Laurel Hill Valley neighborhood in Eugene, Oregon.

Getting Around:

The house is easily accessible to I-5 and 14 miles from the Eugene airport.

Other Things to Note:

The house has an apartment attached to the right of the garage. There is one shared wall (in the upstairs queen size bedroom) but the outside space is separated from the apartment and noise from the apartment is not an issue. There is a parking space in front of the house that is dedicated to the apartment (it's in front of where the trash/recycle bins are housed). The way the house and outdoor is set up, it doesn't feel as though there is an attached unit.

**PLEASE NOTE: The home is in a family friendly neighborhood. Please be mindful of noise levels and when outside after 10pm our of respect for our neighbors.

This was the perfect place for me and my family to stay while I worked as a travel nurse. The location is nice and quiet, the beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is fantastic for making home-cooked meals. I would 100% stay here again.

Amanda's place is wonderful, and was absolutely perfect for our use case. We had family members traveling to Eugene from Texas and California to see our 11-year old relative perform in a community theater production. Amanda's place was just as advertised, very clean, everything worked -- we DEEPLY appreciated the coffee that was there for us. The back patio provided a wonderful gathering place. We didn't try out the hot tub but that will be for next time. Directions for accessing the property were clear, as were the house rules. I had to do a bit of work over the weekend and really appreciated the separate study. A high point of the stay was a hike with my step-son into and around beautiful Hendricks Park -- there are trail heads into the park less than a mile from this house. Although the house is not in the middle of Eugene, it is very conveniently located near the freeway so downtown was just a few minutes away, and all the places we went were within 17 minutes drive (including the airport). We will definitely be back!

Home was just as advertised: We had a very comfortable stay. We are a family of 6 and after long days of site seeing and hiking, it was the perfect place to relax. We will definitely stay here again when we return for future stays. Chavez Pack

We had an unforgettable stay in this home! It is spacious, clean, comfortable and great for family gathering. What made our stay unforgettable is the Eugene ice-storm that descended upon us during our stay! The storm completely interrupted the plans we had and threw the entire region into chaos. I can't say enough good things about how the owner addressed the situation. She was communicative, generous and concerned for our safety and well-being. While we were disappointed to have our plans interrupted, the comfort of the home and the ease of working with the owner put a positive spin on a frustrating situation. We would 100% stay here again!

The house was very nice and fit our needs perfectly. We were able to have our whole family together which doesn’t happen very often with 2 of our daughters living on the east coast. A lot of fun cooking, eating and even watching some tv together.

We had a wonderful visit to Eugene. We had 6 adults and had plenty of space in this gorgeous home. The kitchen was well stocked and cable tv was a bonus. The hot tub was the perfect place to wind down after our busy days. Check in was simple and the owner gave us some extra time to checkout which helped us immensely. Great stay!!!

Wonderful house that was absolutely perfect for our Christmas family get together! The kitchen had everything we needed to make a big Christmas dinner, which we hosted at the house with 10 people. The kids loved the hot tub & sliding down the stairs. Very nice house with a wonderful floor plan & every amenity we needed. Highly recommend Amanda's house for your stay in Eugene! Amanda even offered up the house a day earlier than our stay!

Our family came up to stay during the Thanksgiving holiday. The kitchen was fully stock to prepare a Thanksgiving meal. The layout of the house was perfect for us to have my elderly parents and my children be comfortable. The house was clean in a nice neighborhood. The host was responsive and very helpful. We would definitely recommend the house to anyone who needed a place to stay in Eugene.

We stayed at this beautiful home while visiting for my daughters State volleyball tournament. This home was exactly as it was listed online. Amanda was very easy to communicate with and was very flexible with accommodating our stay.
