This is our third trip to Emden Pond and our first at this gorgeous Lakehouse. They have 10/10 review ratings for a reason! There is NO stone unturned here…anything you would need is there for a fabulous fun time where you can focus on your family vacation and less about going out for various items! We all enjoyed the large dining/living room playing jenga and watching movies, cooking, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, boating, sunset views, cornhole and enjoying time at the fire pit roasting smores and hotdogs! We all had so much fun and truly enjoyed this phenomenal well thought out Lakehouse! We hope to book again next year!!

Everything is so well thought out at this lake house that makes you feel right at home. We have stayed at many lake houses previously and this one hands down was our favorite. We had more than enough space and things to keep us busy. If you’re looking for a Great Lake house for larger families this one won’t disappoint.

The dream getaway: gorgeous home, pond, and sunsets!
We haven't been to Embden Pond in years and this house made our return spectacular. The house itself was beautifully decorated and had all of the amenities we could ever need for a lake stay. All of the modern appliances and utensils in the kitchen were extremely helpful for making great family dinners. The couch was SO comfortable; everyone kept falling asleep on it after early mornings. The bedrooms were comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone. All of the lawn games and water toys were great to have too, they made for many fun evenings. The outdoor fireplace and patio were great entertainment spots and brought everyone together. The beautiful yard was where everyone spent most of their time; plenty of comfortable chairs and the best spot for watching the sunset! We had gorgeous sunsets every night of our stay, as the sun set on the other side of the lake directly across from the house. The pond itself is so clean, with crystal clear water and no weeds at all. The only thing that left something to be desired was the fishing!!! It is a really hard pond to fish if you're looking for bass. Overall, we couldn't spend enough time here enjoying the house, soaking up the sun, relaxing, and enjoying the lake life. The end of our week here came way too fast! Thank you for such an amazing stay :)

Great home, great property.
The camp was among the best we saw on the lake, in addition, my friends and I have been renting lake homes across Maine for almost 30 years and this was a top 3 home for us. Perfect combination of setting, property size, and home size.
Very impressed.

Lovely Lakeside Cabin
We always have enjoyed our stays and have visited this cabin for the second time now. The size is perfect and can accommodate our whole family. Sitting out on the deck or patio watching the sun set is our favorite thing to do. Thank you for another wonderful stay.

Peaceful location, great views
Great place for group of friends (and pups!) to stay for a week. Beautiful location. Accessing the property was a little difficult to navigate at night, but Corina was extremely responsive, provided great directions to get to the location, and was communicative around plowing schedules for our group's peace of mind. Would definitely go back!

Memories to last a lifetime!
I honestly don’t think there is one thing we can complain about. Our week on Embden Pond was one of the most relaxing, enjoyable vacations we’ve had, and was so needed!
The house and property were everything and more. Clean, spacious, well cared for, along with just about anything you could need or want. All communication with the owner was great and very timely. Sorry to see this week end! Can’t wait to go back to Embden Pond!
Thank you Gilbert & Whalen families for sharing your beautiful vacation home with us!

Beautiful and peaceful vacation
Crystal clear water, ample space, well thought out vacation home. Everything you could need was provided. Many options for kayaking, enjoying time around the fire, swimming to a float were provided. The water was so clear and my children enjoyed catching fireflies at night and fishing /swimming during the day. I would highly recommend!!!!

Family Vacation 2021
Hands down the best rental property we have had for family vacation in the last 15 to 20 years. My family and I have been vacationing together since I moved out of state in the late 90s. Every summer we rent a place in a region of Maine, NH or Quebec where we pursue outdoor activities. This house on Embden pond we all agree is the best we have experienced. Wonderful location, clean, and well cared for inside and out. The check in process was easy and all directions from navigating to the house to operating the TV was absolutely spot on. We loved our stay, I am sure you will love yours. My family and I look forward to future visits to Embden Pond.
