This home has a very welcoming feel and nice touches. The owners provided some toiletries and paper products. They were also very responsive to any questions. We had 16 people and there was lots of room for parking. The showers were great, and we never ran out of hot water. The beds were comfortable. Our family really enjoyed the pool table, ping pong table and the huge pool. We played many games around the large dining room table and enjoyed smores around a camp fire. The yard is huge with lots of shade and has a nice swing overlooking the lake. Our family didn't swim in the lake (too many weeds), but we did ride our jetskis.
We would come back again.

We enjoyed everything about this location. The pool was a favorite along with the fire pit and roasting marshmallows and Twinkies. Lots of kayaking, fishing, boating, relaxing on the swing and watching all the wildlife. We had plenty of room for everyone. We cook everything for the week and the kitchen was very well equipped. We hope to stay at this location again!!!

This house was unique with great common areas and sleeping quarters. Bonus building gave us plenty of beds to stay in. Pool table and ping pong kept us busy the day it rained. Plenty of parking!

This house became the hub for all our family to hang out and have meals. The kids kept busy with all the activities this home provided, especially the pool table. In the evening all our surrounding area family would hang out by the fire. Would definitely return.

The property looked the same as in the listing picutres. Beautiful home with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The beds/pillows were very comfortable. The kitchen was nicely equipped. Rooms were spacious with lots of storage space for clothing. There were lots of recreational items at the home - pool table, ping pong table (recently added), board games, kids books, outdoor toys (frisbees, bats and wiffle balls, football, basketball, soccer ball, disc golf and a huge yard to play in. We also enjoyed the pool with slide and the fire pit. The included kayaks were also used and were fun. The boat dock was nice and we fished every day. There is a table and chairs on the dock but no shaded area, except covering the boat slip. Cons: it is obvious this is a dog friendly property as there was dog hair everywhere, including on the sheets in the master bedroom. We had to wash the sheets before we slept in the bed. The towels were white, which I appreciate, but they were permanently stained and dingy. We washed those too before use but it didn't help. It's time for new towels. There were roaches. We killed several crawling on the floors but we also witnessed them crawling in the silverware drawer so we had to wash every dish before using it. The pool was not the cleanest when we arrived. It is surrounded by trees so leaves get in the pool. A pool cleaner did come on our next to last day. It was much nicer after that. The pool slide was fun. Overall, this was a nice location.

We rented both lake houses. Beautiful grounds and ample amenities for all….ping pong, pool table, laser tag board games and chess board —-to name a few. Wonderful family bonding and catch up time. Kitchen stocked with utensils, plates, cookware, plastics for leftovers, basic spices coffee, tea and sugar. The swimming pool was a big hit and used daily by all.
Matt and Laura are extremely responsive to any questions before and during stay. Thank you both and we plan on returning next year

We had a wonderful time swimming in the beautiful pool, floating and kayaking in the lake, fishing, and playing games inside and out. The house accommodated our family of 8 adults and 8 children very well. The property was beautiful and had a frisbee golf feature that our family enjoyed when we weren’t in the water.

We stayed here Mother’s Day weekend and had a wonderful time! Everyone enjoyed the pool and fishing off the dock. The house and guest house were exactly as pictured. Laura responds quickly to messages and is a wonderful host. Thank you Laura for allowing us to stay at your beautiful lake house!

The location for us (proximity to The club at Lake Sinclair) was by no means ideal as it was a hard to follow gps of 25 minutes. However, the house and grounds were fantastic. Someone has done a fantastic job of renovating a very unique older property. Would be an incredible place for a young family or two to enjoy a vacation. Double thumbs up !!

The Palmer and Oak property is amazing. My son got married in Milledgeville on May 6th and we needed a property that would accommodate a large group of family and friends. This was the perfect place. There were plenty of activities to enjoy and keep the young adults busy. The decor was beautiful and the property was clean and well maintained.

Great Place
The property was just like the listing. The owner was great to work with. The pool was a hit with the group and we enjoyed relaxing by the lake. The fire pit was a plus and the kids enjoyed watching the lighten bugs at night. We looking forward to coming again.

Lovely home. House and lake worked perfect for our family get together. Would definitely stay again.
Everything was wonderful. My only concern was that I had to contact the manager about check in information. We were coming from different locations and already in route to the house. This may be common procedure? No days we are trained to watch for scams. The property manager did respond quickly so all was good. Just made me nervous and the fact that I had to call everyone while on the road traveling was a bit inconvenient.

Georgia oasis
Although the drive from Philly to Laura's property was long, the payoff was worth it. Both houses were comfortable and well appointed, and the property was immense, which made our doggos happy. The lake is beautiful and quiet. Laura was responsive to our needs and ready to take care of any issues that arose!

Fabulous Family Vacation
The property was fabulous! We had a wonderful trip for our large extended family. The house is more spacious than the pictures let on. The large yard overlooking the lake was a treat that everyone enjoyed. It had everything we needed, and we would absolutely return. The only concern/negative was that a couple of the beds (particularly the downstairs king) were VERY firm. We thought the mattress was upside down because we’ve never felt one that hard.
This was not a problem for us, but the main entrance to the house is downstairs, but the kitchen/living area was upstairs. If you have elderly people joining, just be aware that stairs are necessary to get to that area.
Again, it was a fabulous stay and we will definitely return. The owners were very helpful and responsive. The house was very clean and well kept. Highly recommend.

Fun family vacation!
Our trip to Matt and Laura‘s place was extremely fun. They have everything a family would need, including a pool, water sports activities, big fenced yard, grill, guest house and main house. They were both very helpful and our family is already talking about trying to find dates to go back next year!

Great Lake Sinclair Lake House with Pool for a Large Family
Fantastic! This 6 bedroom, 3 bathroom property with a pool was a great choice for our large family vacation on Lake Sinclair. Owner was responsive and very accommodating leading up to our rental as well as for a few questions that came up during our rental.
We rented both the larger, octagonal lakehouse and the smaller 3 bedroom house on the property. Everything was as described, clean and in good working order. The owners had invested alot into making this a fantastic vacation property.
We had jetskis and a boat docked at the end of their dock. Great location for rides around the lake. The closest marina was Twin Bridges Landing, about a 12 minute drive by truck and under 10 minutes by jet ski.
Most of our time was spent at the pool, on the water or in the large open area of the main house. That area was a combination great room, dining room & kitchen with plenty of space for our family of 16.
One side note that made a strong, positive impression on me. The owners came by to drop off an item that we requested. While I was with them, they discovered a problem from a previous renter. It's easy to have a good relationship when everything is going smoothly but sometime things go wrong. When there's a problem, your true character often comes out. I was impressed that they handled the problem with the previous renter in a very professional manner.
Because of that, and our great experience, I absolutely recommend this property and I would be very comfortable renting any other properties from the owners.

Wonderful relaxing space!
This place was wonderful! The pool was such a hit with the kids. We played in the pool all day and had lunch then were on the lake in the afternoon. The only complaint I have is the house needs some pot holders in the kitchen. Other than that, we had everything we needed! It was great to already have pool towels as well. We had teenagers who stayed in the guest house at night and it was perfect for them to have their own spot while the grown ups were in the big house. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone especially large families! We had 4 adults, 3 teenagers, 3 kids and 1 infant.
