The front walkway was over grown with palm frawns that smack you in the face from the driveway to the front door. The back yard has overgrown shrubbs When we first arrived, the front tv wouldnt turn on, we figured out that it had an extension cord running all the way around to the opposite wall that operated on a switch. Not sure why they would do that. Once the tv was on, none of the 4 remotes in the house worked. All the batteries were dead, so we couldnt watch tv. The master bedroom had an old tv with two remotes, one worked the on/off and volume and the other was a roku. The main remote had dead batteries so you had to manually get up out of bed to turn it on and off or adjust the volume. The owner sent new roku remotes through amazon but no batteries so i had to go buy betteries to use the remote for the front tv only. The other bedrooms had tvs the size of a small computer monitor that didnt work at all. The closets had random boxes in them. The sheets in all the rooms smelled stale. The furniture looked like random garage sale finds. Nothing really matched and a lot of it was old. I didnt because the pans were trashed. The master bath had some ants and spiders around the light fixtures. I found a gecko living in the room too. He was friendly so i let him be. His name is Gary, tell him i said hi if you see him. He eats most of the bugs in the bathroom. Overall, unless the owner puts some money into linens and towels and working tv's, i wouldnt want to stay here again.

I came into town with my wife for a job. We picked this house because of the pool.
We never received a welcome pack with the code for the house, so after calling the contact number several times and messaging them on the VRBO app, we finely received the code while sitting outside in the rain. Apparently the host just forgot to send it.

Brought son to celebrate his 21st at Hard Rock. The home has some minor normal home owner things needed (pressure washing for example). Otherwise, was clean and not far from food and the casino.

Overall not a terrible stay.. It served its purpose. The pool is nice and the owner was nice. However, I was surprised to see how dirty the house looked and felt.. the walls, baseboards, door handles. You can tell it's not cleaned properly or often. It's not the experience I expected to have with Vrbo. Like I said, it served its purpose, gave us a place to sleep, but I would not choose to book another stay."

This property was absolutely amazing. It was more than expected, the rooms were big and spacious, the neighborhood was clean and quiet, the pool area was clean and the kids enjoyed themselves. I will definitely recommend this property for a vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay. The landscaping in the community is beautiful. We found the description of the property and photos posted accurate and the host very responsive to our inquiries. When initially arrived there seemed to be dust in the air but it cleared up after running the ceiling fans and air conditioner. We enjoyed our stay and would book this property again. The property is very nice and thank you.

First, the home is in a Deed Restricted Community which was fine but advertised as a Ranch. House needs a lot of love. It’s clean but carpets are worn and stained, TV’s need replacing. 3 remotes needed for the master bedroom TV. Beds are not comfortable. Owner asked us to have our car out of the driveway one morning so they could access the garage. Someone obviously came in and trashed this house at some point based on all the rules provided in the kitchen. Not worth the money. Stay in a hotel.

Great location from where we needed to be and cost was appropriate for quality. Definitely needs a deep cleaning. Lipstick left on glasses, pool, dust thru out but very noticeable in kitchen and laundry room. We got what we paid for, but place could be so much better.

The location is great. So while the beds were comfortable the posted pictures are from many moons ago. There was a missing smoke detector in the hallway off the secondary bedrooms to boot. Carpet is stained and covered with small rugs which proved to be a tripping hazard. Prior comments mentioned a deep cleaning was necessary and I concur.

To begin, the leaves need cutting on the front before the entrance door because you have to duck to avoid being poked in the face and eyes with them. The chairs on the porch could not be set in because they were so dirty… upon entry. The property was very hot. The first thermostat was broken and in operable the second thermostat we found was set on heat at 69 and the temp in the property was 81. The temp never wavered beneath 78. shower liner was dirty. We had four total wash gloves, and we had to clean spiders and spiderwebs from the chairs at the pool. owner was contacted, but nothing was done about the air.. all we got was a lot of questions so we got frustrated and stopped contacting him and left the doors wide, open all day to let the heat out.. the master commode ran ..constantly as well and the icemaker did not work
It could have been a great house But unfortunately we had to make the best of things. there were also spots on the sheets in one of the beds.

House is in a quiet and nice neighborhood. I would rate the cleanliness as broom clean but not what I would consider up to VRBO standards. Pool area needs a good cleaning as well as the pool. No skimmer available for removing debris and bottom of pool had a lot of leaves in it. Doesn't look like any updates have been made to the house in years as the paint is probably original contractors paint. Rugs have alot of stains and need a good cleaning or replacement. Couldn't sleep on the master bedroom bed as the matress and boxspring need replacement. With a few upgrades this house would meet VRBOs standards.

The house is very convenient for anyone visiting Walden Lake. You can’t beat this location. The house is spacious and has all basic amenities. The property isn’t particularly fancy but it is clean and suited our needs perfectly.

Not as advertised. Ants, cockroaches, dust everywhere (so thick you could write "wash me" in it), fridge dirty with green growing, oven filthy, dirty pans, old food in cupboards, counters needed cleaning, microwave had splattered food, "clean" towels had hair on them, dryer wouldn't work, couple of holes in wall, multiple stains on carpet, TV missing in master bedroom, TV remotes didn't have batteries, pool dirty, pool had chips in plaster (needs to be resurfaced), mildew/mold growing on pool toys & deck, bedroom screen had two holes (from break in??), vertical blinds didn't work properly in 3rd bedroom,
smoke detector disconnected, back door closer broken, all doors were filthy for about one foot around door knobs, pool was overflowing without proper drain hose/provisions (had to fix it, got soaking wet in the storm, so the home wouldn't flood during the storm with 12" of rain predicted in the next 8 hours),
We had rented for three days but had to vacate after two days because there was no electricity and the place was filthy. It was worse than a cheap no-tell motel type of property.
We asked the owner for half of our money to be refunded, but he never responded. There is a reason that no refunds are offered at this property. The property owner only had poor excuses for the property condition and did not offer any solutions.
We documented everything with pictures and sent to VRBO, but was returned unopened. Too costly for
our first experience with VRBO. Never again.

We stayed in this home for three weeks. It was fine because the location was convenient for the camp my son was doing, but this home needs a significant amount of TLC and is not what we expect from a rental home.
First, when we arrived the home had not been cleaned. The cleaner was unable to make it in time for our first day. The host did reimburse us for a hotel room.
Overall, the house ended up clean, but needs a deep clean so it doesn't look drab. The bathrooms have a little mold/mildew. The carpet needs either a deep clean or replaced. The outside of the house needs a power wash. The inside needs painted because there are marks on the walls. The house lacks a lot of furniture inside, so it feels a little empty. Multiple light bulbs were burned out. We had to buy our own toilet paper and other supplies like dishwasher soap.
We spent a lot of time in the pool, which is nice. But the pool needs work as well. The pool floor has a significant spot where it is damaged and is razor sharp. The kids cut their feet on it several times. There were pool floaty toys in the pool. That was nice. But there was also a bin of pool toys that was filled with water and nasty mildew/mold.
There is a TV stand in the master bedroom, but it didn't have a TV on it. The TV in the living room was great and connected to a lot of streaming services.
The kitchen area was clean and spacious. There were sugar ants in the kitchen, which is common in Florida unless you have a monthly exterminator service.
Overall, the house has a lot of space, which was great.
The laundry room was helpful to have but something is wrong with the dryer. It would take 2-4 hours to dry a standard load of laundry.

Diamond in the rough!
We stayed at this property for 7 weeks. The area is absolutely beautiful. There are wonderful bike paths (you don’t have to take your bikes somewhere else.). The bike path has lakes, flora an fauna, lots of shade and pretty canopies! The house is large, but it needs some lovin’ . We were 7 week tenants, so please take that into consideration. It needs the carpets cleaned, paint and more furniture. In the three bedroom house there are no dressers. If you’re staying a short time, no problem. Only 4 dishes, 4 bowls, 4 small plates and 4 cups. Christmas dishes, which is fine, except you can’t microwave dishes with a gold edge. The lanai has two plastic chairs and two chairs outside one of the bedrooms. Pool not heated, but that is not unusual. As we said, great great location to many places! Clearwater, Tampa, Dunedin, Tarpon Springs, Venice and many more!

Over priced
I have rented from VRBO before with no problems. This property looked dirty.The water smelled bad.We were hesitant to even shower. Every other property I was allowed to use the garage to protect my car. This property had the garage locked and thier truck sitting in the driveway leaving little room for my car. The plants were over grown along the sidewalk.The porch light did not work,unless I was flipping the wrong switch.All the beds were these cheap metal frames with a uncomfortable mattresses. The bathrooms had only one roll of toilet paper.We had to buy more. This house is way overpriced for the condition and amenities. The only good thing was the pool,and it was dirty.They had the vacuum running but there was a lot of debris floating.I took out the vac and it cleaned up. I give it a 2 star rating.
