*Duke has lowered the Lake for construction at the Wateree Hydro Station. The marina is not renting boats at this time and boats cannot be pulled up to our dock.
This home is located in the desirable area of Beaver Creek. Just a quick walk to restaurants/bars such as the Beaver's Den and the Riverdeck. I really like this place, it’s very cozy and is a great location on the lake. It’s within walking distance to the marina and also to a great restaurant called dock 97. The restaurant is open Thursday through Sunday and I highly recommend it.

Very nice property. Cozy and user-friendly. Great location with views of the lake. Two restaurants within walking distance. One with an exceptional food. Will definitely stay here again.

This was most convenient location for us across the way from Wateree Marina. The relaxed atmosphere during early morning and evenings was beneficial to us all. We could not have asked for a better location, better facility,or dealings with the manager. We look forward to doing it again.

Had a great stay. Location worked well with restaurants in walking distance. Also had a public boat ramp real close by. Everyone was super friendly. Host was great to work with.

We had a great time and was a nice home as advertised and only 2 minutes from the marina. Which do have cheap boat rentals. Unfortunately the water was low due to Dam work but not the owners fault. We still had a great time fishing and relaxing. I would recommend!

The property was as advertised . Quaint and comfy. Once the lake levels are back to normal, it will definitely fit the bill for fishing, boating and just relaxing. Found some local restaurants that were delicious and affordable. Would consider returning.

At 76 yrs of age we are finding it harder and harder to find properties which meet our physical needs. This lake cottage was as good as it gets. Clean, Comfy beds, easy to move around in bathrooms as well as other rooms. Beautiful view of lake. Very well stocked with supplies and linens. Hosts went out of their way to make the stay special. Thanks to them we will be returning to this lake to stay with this host. The Millers

House was exactly as advertised. Comfy furniture, great deck, well appointed kitchen plus super convenient from Hwy 97. Location directly across cove from Wateree Marina may be busy in summer months but during fall it is perfect!

This cottage is absolutely charming! It is the perfect size for 2 couples or a family. We enjoyed the view of the lake from the deck or from the sitting area closer to the lake. Access to the lake and dock were easy as the public landing is less than 1/2 a mile away. The house was very clean & recently remodeled. The AC worked extremely well! The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, plates, glasses, silverware, pots & pans. Additionally, the owner left coffee, coffee supplies, and seasonings for us to use, along with enough water, snacks, soap & shampoo so that we did not need to make an immediate run to the store. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this house on Beaver Creek & plan to return again soon!

The location is just perfect! Enjoyed the house, which was completely upgraded and equipped with everything we needed. The lake was beautiful and because we stayed from Sunday thru Friday, Boat traffic was at a minimum which was great! Hayley was always quick to respond and check in and out was seamless! Would recommend and will def be back!

We have stayed on Wateree multiple time at different rental homes over the years. This have be our favorite by far. The location is great, the home was clean, Hayley was responsive, nice and even had snacks and gifts for us. We will definitely be staying again next summer!

Lovely newly remodeled 2 bedroom cabin with awesome hosts. Quickly & efficiently responded to small issues.(Needed help getting internet connected. 😉) Very well stocked. Great porch with table/chairs to dine while watching lake activity or play. Large grassy yard for games, plenty of shade and a great fire pit with plenty of wood to roast S’mores & more. Close to marina, good restaurants and a convenience store & not far from shopping in Camden. We plan to return. A great place to just “chill.”

We stayed at the cottage in December. The area was quiet and peaceful. There was some activity at the marina next door. It was interesting to watch the boats come and go. Views of the lake were beautiful. The local residents we met were friendly and helpful. This cottage would be great for summer trips too The the marina and local restaurant with live music were both within walking distance. The cottage was very open and seemed spacious for the size. The bed was extremely comfortable and it was great having the two modern bathroom. The kitchen was also clean and modern. The host had so many little extras that made the stay seem like you were being pampered in a hotel. Would definitely recommend this cottage .

House was clean, comfortable, and the perfect size for a couple or two. Owners make sure you have everything you need for your trip. House is located within walking distance to a public boat landing and just a short drive to Camden or 40 Acre Rock (a must see this time of the year). Loved the fire pit outside. We’ll be back. We enjoyed the lake and the large deck. The landscape needs some sprucing up, and the furniture on the deck has seen better days. The kitchen is very small, and lacking a dishwasher and a disposal. The kitchen also needs some additional cleaning, some things are being overlooked.

We had a great time during our 6 night vacation at this cute lake house. We will definitely come back. The host was very sweet and always responded right away. The lot is private with a huge back yard and lots of parking. Perfect for a family with children. Large deck on the back of the house looking out over the lake. Down at the floating dock was perfect for the kids and swimming. The water is not deep there at the dock. So the kids were able to swim and stand up right there. We truly enjoyed our time at lake wateree. Just a little ways down the road we're two very good restaurants and on the lake at the one they had bands on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights with pickneck tables to seat and enjoy the music. Everyone we met was very nice. Will be looking forward to return to this property again.
