Palm La Mar, a luxury vacation rental located in the exclusive oceanfront gated community of Anglers Reef in Islamorada, Florida, "The Sportfishing Capital of the World".

The two story Key West style house has 2 master bedrooms on the second floor, furnished with king beds, ensuite bathrooms, and private balconies. The first floor has a half bathroom, full kitchen, dining room, and living room with sleeper sofa.

The gated community of Anglers Reef offers a resort feel with detached villas, quaint streets, a 75 foot heated pool overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, and two private beaches. The property is neighborly, safe, and immaculately landscaped for pleasant walks day and night. Anglers Reef is in close proximity to restaurants, Starbucks, entertainment, bars, and water activities, many within walking distance.

There is a private marina on a deep channel directly out to the Atlantic Ocean. Not all homes at Anglers Reef have a boat slip, ours does! The slip is available to rent for $350 per week (please notify us if you will be wanting the boat slip). The slip accommodates up to a 31 foot boat and has fresh water and electrical connections. There is a nearby public boat ramp at Founders Park to launch your boat. Two fish cleaning stations are available at either end of the marina. Manatees, fish, and lobster can be seen right from the dock. You can even drop a line and catch a fish! You are less than 5 minutes from the locals' sandbar and 10 minutes from the world famous Islamorada Sand Bar. Take your boat out for ocean or bayside fishing, snorkel the crystal clear waters of Alligator Reef, grab a meal at a waterfront restaurant, and end the day with a sunset cruise!

Included in your stay are kayaks, beach towels, beach chairs, a cooler, Weber gas grill, Big Green Egg grill, and patio table with chairs. Inside the house, there are stainless steel appliances, cookware, silverware, linens/towels, washer/dryer, wifi, 3 smart flat screen TVs, Xfinity cable TV, and Alexas.

There are 2 designated parking spaces, one of which is covered by a carport.

The property is licensed for a maximum occupancy of 4 adults plus 2 children. No Pets. No smoking.

Amazing spot for a vacation. Host communicated very good with us and everything was exactly how it was described. Highly recommend Palm la Mar for your next vacation spot. And the boat slip is right in the middle of the cut so very easy to get in and out. Would definitely stay again.

We cannot say enough about how beautiful and well kept this house is. It felt like home away from home. The house is immaculate beautiful and very comfortable. My wife son and I stayed for full week. The house is very clean well kept. We brought our boat down rented the slip for the week it was great. The pool is nice and clean and right on the water. Great property and amenities . The check in process was so easy. Juan was very responsive and informative .Wish all VRBOs were like this. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home we can’t wait to come back.

Our family had a lovely stay at Angler’s Reef. The property was clean, up to date, minimal/simplistic decor, awesome location, and good amenities. The house had amazing appliances, which made it easy to make meals while we were there. We needed to contact the property manger twice during our stay and each time our issue was resolved quickly. My only suggestion would be for the homeowners association to get more pool chairs - many days there were none available. Overall, we had a great stay, we would rent again, and we would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay in Palm de Mar. The home was clean, updated and well stocked with everything you would need. Very comfortable beds. We rented a boat for the week and used the boat slip. Super convenient boat slip and so much fun. I highly recommend a boat rental. The pool was beautiful and well maintained. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed daily walks around the neighborhood. My only small complaint would be the road noise off the master bedroom. We are not used road noise and it bothered me. My husband slept through it. I guess it depends if you are a sensitive sleeper. They did have a noise machine in the bedroom and that helped. I would definitely return to Islamorada. Great trip!

This is our second stay at Anglers reef, first time in this home. This home was wonderful and when a part was missing to a coffeee pot, they delivered a new one within hours! Gotta have that coffee on the beach at sunrise. The whole community is kept pristine. The pool is like bathwater overlooking the water. It felt great. We have enjoyed talking to others staying there, everyone is so kind and helpful. The only draw back to this home's location in Angler's Reef was the road noise so if you are used to that it won't bother you at all. Great place to get away.

Everything associated with this rental is top notch. Newly renovated, spotless, all appliances and furnishings were 5 star. The private beaches(2) the heated pool w/ plenty of lounge chairs and the large selection of kayaks and paddle boards made for a very relaxing and fun filled stay. The gated security and on site resident manager make you feel safe and the grounds were immaculate. We will be back soon and expect to book again at Anglers Reef.

We were in town for a friends wedding and opted to stay at Anglers Reef and it did not disappoint! The house is beautiful and located in such a calm neighborhood. The pool is perfect and has such a great view. On top of it all Juan was so great in suggesting things to see and do for our first time stay in the Keys. He was easy and pleasant to communicate with. Highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful home with every amenity you can imagine. Rarely do online pictures live up to expectations so we were very pleased. The ease of check-in was a bonus. We brought our boat and had the easiest slip to get in and out of. The fresh water hose helped for daily rinsing. The pool area was quite inviting after a day on the salt water. We will be back!

An immaculately clean house with gorgeous, calming decor! Fabulous owners and property manager. Easy to communicate with and friendly, stellar service from booking the property to after checkout. Every need was covered from clean linens and plenty of towels, to fully a stocked kitchen with all the utensils, pots, pans, plates and a variety of glassware for any cooking and serving desire. Pool was amazing! Very clean, perfect temperature, and plenty of chairs and tables for all! Gorgeous view of Atlantic Ocean The beach and property offered a fun paddle board family experience, where we saw fish, a stingray, and other sea creatures! Kayaks available, too! Bonus informatio …to grocery store, delicious restaurants and souvenir shopping! We will be back!

We have stayed at Anglers for years. This unit was one of the cleanest and beautifully decorated. The living room couches are a little worn but nothing that was concerning. If there is a negative, we hardly used the back porch due to all the mosquitoes. This can’t be helped at all by anyone, totally the time of year. Just sad we missed out on relaxing outside because of it. Juan was always so kind and helpful and a pleasure partnering with for our weeks stay. I highly recommend this home and hope to rent again soon.

The house and neighborhood were perfect for our family, 2 adults and 2 teens. The location is spectacular. We found everything we needed in the house and appreciated the extra items like shampoo, coffee filters and paper products. The kayaks, paddle boards and pool gave us endless opportunities for family fun. Publix is close for any grocery store needs and many great restaurants nearby. We appreciated the prior renters comments @ the highway noise. Our family didn’t find it to be an issue but it was nice to know before we arrived. The owner is great to work with and we’d definitely recommend renting from him.

The kitchen needs more supplies I.e. pots, pans, etc and guest bathroom tub is really terrible. The tub doesn’t drain at all when you are showering and water gets all over the bathroom floor. I also think the home owners should supply white noise machines for the bedrooms as they get quite noisy being by the road. The house is beautifully designed and has a great pool and beach access. Definitely a family friendly place!

This was a great place to stay for our family. Our daughter (11) slept on the pullout couch in the living room and our son (14) stayed in the second bedroom, and everyone was comfortable. On 4 of the 6 days, the weather on our trip was too cold for water activities, but this central location allowed us to explore the Keys as well as head up to Miami. When the weather finally warmed up, we enjoyed the pool, kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. And the we could walk to Starbucks for coffee and Island Grill for lunch. It was a great visit and we look forward to returning to the Keys again!

We stayed at Palm La Mar as a family and we truly had a wonderful experience. The house is bright, clean, comfortable, and very well stocked. It sits within the community of Angler's Reef, which is also very beautiful and well maintained, and which provides ample kayaks and paddleboards for all to enjoy. Both Juan and Jen were very easy to communicate with and very responsive when we had questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall, it was nice. A few small negatives . . . the charcoal grill was really grossly dirty, a handle to the front deck door came off when I opened it, the 2 plastic chairs on the front deck were cheap and one was broken. We really enjoyed the neighborhood, pool, kayaks and beach.

Great stay at Palm La Mar Angler’s Reef. The home is beautiful and we enjoyed that you’re friends could stay next door in 106. The house is beautifully decorated with lots of creature comforts like blankets, nice pillows, ample towels for bath and pool. The back bedroom and patio were loud from road traffic was only downside. Overall great stay
