Renovated in the spring of 2023, this beautiful five-bedroom, five-bath home on the beach offers an absolutely idyllic location. Sunshine floods the main floor, which boasts an open plan, perfect for reconnecting with loved ones and family. When you're not unwinding with your favorite TV shows, try your hand at the arcade cabinet that boasts 100 different games on it. The chef in the group will be able to cook up a feast, or just a snack for the beach, in the well-equipped kitchen, and the group's sous chef can supervise from the breakfast bar. The living room offers plenty of comfy couches for seating as well as a TV. But with that beachfront gazebo right outside, you probably won't be watching much TV. Throw open the doors to your private deck and stake out your spot on that hammock, swaying gently in the breeze inside your own private gazebo. It's just a few steps further down your walkway to the sand, and when you finish spending the day on the beach, take advantage of the outdoor shower to rinse off before heading inside.

When it's time to call it a night after a day on the beach, you'll have five bedrooms to choose from. Both of the main floor bedrooms feature en suite bathrooms; one has a queen bed, and one has four fun bunk beds that the kids will be fighting over. Upstairs you'll find three more bedrooms, all with access to a second-floor deck overlooking the ocean. The main bedroom upstairs features a king bed and en suite bathroom, as well as a TV. Another bedroom features a queen bed, TV, and its own bathroom as well, and the third bedroom has a matching set of twin beds, as well as fun beachy decor. As a bonus, you'll also find another TV room upstairs with a pull-out sofa that turns into a bed. If you're not quite ready to call it a night, head back outside to that gazebo and watch the moon rise over the Atlantic–the perfect end to a perfect day in your own slice of heaven.

Kitchen had everything one could want for cooking. Bedroom were nice and the kids enjoyed the bunk beds Having the beds made and towels provided made moving in easy

You can tell the renovations have greatly improved the house. The floors look nice (the gross baseboards take away from it though) and the main level furniture is nicely updated. I know it's hard to keep nice things in the kitchen because some people don't care but I hated having to cook for my family on the flaking pans. There were plenty of plates, glasses and silverware which was great. A giant washer made vacation laundry done quickly. The covered hammock area was a hit with many from our group. It was a great distance out to the sand/water although we did have to fight for beach space with a group of 15/20 down the side street or the public access-a first in our 30+ years coming.

Beautiful ocean front with a roomy gazebo for nice visits with covering from sun. Nice rooms and bathrooms for large families/groups. Also a well equipped kitchen with freestanding icemaker !

Its a fun beach house for family. The entry code didnt work so we had to call to get the combo lock for the physical key.The dishes were all dirty. Knives covered in jelly, coffee mugs with coffee residue in them. The two left side stove burners worked. The right side did not. The bed skirts were dirty Other than that, the place was clean and enjoyable.

This house is THE ONE...everything is as pictured and described on web ...the views ...gorgeous..we were VERY PLEASED with this rental ...the only thing I would suggest is maybe putting some blinds up in the living room dining area and on the oceanfront doors in the bedrooms .. Just bc at night you are EXPOSED to anyone and everyone on the beach and as stated in a previous review the dishwasher really needs to b replaced ...we just hand washed what few dishes we used and the mattresses need to be updated but w that being said the place was simply GREAT ...clean kitchen COMPLETELY stocked w all that you need and then some...the new reno is fabulous ....BOOK IT u won't b dissappointed

Our family stayed here for a week (February break) The house is beautiful, gorgeous views of the ocean. The house was very clean. There were many extra blankets, towels etc. we enjoyed ocean views and the ocean waves while relaxing in the hammock. The home was fully stocked with plenty of dishes, cookware, utensils etc. The oven is split in two which makes it slightly difficult for cooking large dinners but not a big deal. Many beach toys etc.. for children. The master bedroom bed was not the comfiest. Private beach access was wonderful. We watched dolphins swim every day, just stunning. Gorgeous views from the first floor deck as well as the balconies on the second floor. I would recommend this beautiful house to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

Overall the house was nice and fit our family of 10 well. The view and the surrounding areas were beautiful. I loved having my coffee on the deck watching the ocean. I have a couple of complaints about the house but honestly very minor. The door knobs were terrible. The back door knob was practically falling off. The lighting upstairs in the bedrooms need repair. The only lights in the room we stayed in was one tiny lamp and it was broken but we were able to repair it to use. My major complaint was customer service. I have rented from VRBO many times and this was the first time that is was subrented by another company called VACASA. I have never heard of or used this company before but things did not work the typical VRBO way. VACASA needed a whole other app to be able to do anything for this property. It took a while to figure this out after not hearing from this booking. The cleaning agency was late on the day of check in and we were delayed entering the home. I messaged VACASA with no response for a long time. In fact when I messaged them from the VRBO app it took them more than a day to respond. I also used their app and it also took a while for them to return my message only to get a “sorry it happens” kind of response. If you want great customer service, skip this house and a company called VACASA.

The renovation is lacking in professional finishing. Poor craftsmanship. There is no way the painting was done professionally. Multiple light switches making no sense. Electrical outlets poorly installed with some unsafe. The door knobs/locks on upper level difficult to open. Doors need to be adjusted. Obvious soft spots in floor (rushed job in renovating). Light fixture in kitchen near windows has poor connection and is flickering. Needs to update the pictures on web (coffee pot cheap and not what is in picture. Washer/Dryer are in very poor shape and desperately need to be replaced. Also, dishwasher is totally deteriorated and not safely usable RUSTED!!!!! Thank you for the Dove Products, Awesome!! Roaches 2 inches long. Please make sure the next people staying are advised to disinfect before cooking or prepping on any surface and to pre wash whatever dishes they use.

We loved this house. The decor was nice and the location was wonderful. The showers were instantly hot and had moveable spray wands allowing an easy cleaning of the legs and feet after a walk on the beach. The cabana was a great place to hang out and just enjoy the ocean. We were extremely happy with this house and would love to stay here again some time.

there were several things in need of repair. There was a drawer in the refrigerator that had no front. There was a bathroom vanity that was also missing a front. The floors looked fairly new, but created and pop when you walked on them. Jen at Vacasa was very accommodating and helpful when we contacted her.

This house was by no measure ready to rent. It was 1/2 renovated and very dirty and cluttered, the outside was so grown up that there were rats running around. I could go on and on but why? It was a mess and not worth the amount of money I paid to rent. I’ve spoken with vrbo people as well as the local Vacasa representatives and have only received a small portion of a refund. The grounds were so unkept that rats were visable and the down stairs could not be used at all. Not a happy renter at all.

The house is large and roomy but has a few things that need 2 be addressed as any other rental. We loved the gazebo and side porch over the dunes. Great for a break from the sun or star watching at night. We would go back to the house again but unfortunately Vacasa's pricing makes it impossible for our family to do that. The price for next year more than doubled from this year. Holden Beach has always been a family oriented beach with affordable houses for families to rent. The way Vacasa is pricing the houses, working families like mine can't afford them. Thank goodness everyone hasn't sold their rental business to these companies who are out there buying up all rental properties and pricing them out of reach for most people. I really don't expect to see this posted to the reviews but at least someone with company will read it.

We enjoyed our family vacation with our children and grandchildren. Plenty of baths and beds. Beautiful view with direct beach access. The whole family ate together in the large kitchen. Room for 4 vehicles.

We have now stayed at this property for 3 different vacations. We love the layout inside the house, the deck is very useful in that it has a seating area and hammock. The large family room is great. Being right on the beach makes this the perfect getaway.
