My family and I had a great time the place was amazing and the views for perfect and just what we were looking for in a home

The location of this VRBO was awesome - super walkable and close to the bridge that takes you over the river into Louisville. Communication with the host was very quick. The water heater went out three times and our host responded within minutes of us letting him know and he was able to send a maintenance crew out ASAP.
Other than issues with the hot water - off set by our hosts quick response - the overall cleanliness of the property left room for improvement.
Loved the area and our host was great - just wish it was a little cleaner.

Even though the location was great our experience was disappointing.
We did not have hot water for our entire stay. I thought Jonathan was attempting to fix the problem but never actually did. He actually disregarded several messages and responded with automated replies that clearly showed no interest in our situation.
Shame on me for not reading ALL reviews. There appears to be a theme with no hot water and poor communication.

The property is charming. The shower is a challenge, but fine once you get the hang of it. There are no night tables in the bedrooms so make sure you have long power cords for phone chargers, cpap machines, etc. The neighborhood is great. Highly recommend Geraldine’s for breakfast, just 2 blocks away

We had friends in for pre-wedding events, and it was a great location to travel back and forth from Louisville. We also enjoyed the decor in the home and the space was more than enough for our group.

Very clean and unique setup. Great host customer service. I initially thought the train would be a problem but it only came once. I greatly appreciated the flexibility with changing dates and location. Hopefully this will be available next year!

The property was very comfortable and clean. We loved the front and the back balconies. It had an old house charm with beautiful floors and brick walls. The only improvement I would suggest is the water pressure for the shower.

The manager excelled at communucation. The location is great. It is a quirky, old, roomy upstairs apartment that has potential. Seems like the renovation was not finished before listing on VRBO. The bathtub/shower, dishwasher, and washer/dryer all did not work or needed attention. The manager was very pleasant and said everything would be looked at by the maintenance team.

Checked in for a two-night stay after traveling all day and started off with no hot water for a shower. Johnathan, the host will not respond to phone calls or texts. The only way he will respond is through the VRBO messaging. No Wi-fi, half a roll of toilet paper, no bed linens for the pull-out couch so my son slept with his jacket for a blanket. The bridge going into the property is closed so you have to find another route to get to the rental. Nothing mentioned about that to help us navigate to the property. Finally got hot water the night before we checked out. I asked for half of my money back on the rental for all of the trouble we had with this property and he refused to do so. The mattresses in both rooms are queens on a full bed frame so the mattress hangs off all sides. The pull-out couch is a joke. It is like sleeping on wood slats. There are too many other places you can spend your money and have a hot shower and not deal with this ridiculous host and his property. I've been using VRBO for over 15 years and I have never dealt with a worse experience than this host and his property. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

This was a good location overall and pretty clean. The water pressure was terrible, we had a trickle of water to shower. The temperature of the water never got warm. Wash cloths aren’t provided. But it worked out for my mother and I to have an out of town getaway.

Property is old and doesn't feel clean. It smells old and is not thoroughly cleaned. Pillows are old filthy with stains no spare cases stocked. I had to request them and they weren't delivered the following day so had to use my clean undershirt as a cover because you wouldn't want to put your face on them. Water pressure is so poor you can't take a proper shower because there is not pressure on the hot side and can't use the handheld shower head. Glassware and table surfaces were smeared leaving us to question the overall cleanliness of the place. Tried to use the combo washer/dryer which had a fault (FE) took several unhelpful emails with host only to resolve it myself. We had a wet load that would not finish and cycle to dry because of the fault which required me to monitor and reset multiple times over several hours. I had to return throughout the day which limited our time and distance from the property. The location is great as advertised Jeffersonville appears to be in the early stage of revival with nice bars, restaurants and a riverfront area. The big 4 bridge offers a nice walk into Louisville and we enjoyed the food at the Red Yeti down the block. Overall disappointing for the price. If you charge the same as a hotel you should present a property at the same standard and service.

Overall we had a good stay. The place was within 10 to 20 minutes of the places we frequented while visiting Jeffersonville and Louisville. There is a balcony on the front porch that would have gotten used during better climate months. The kitchen was well stocked with various kitchen staples, cookware and dinner settings. We have stayed at other locations that were not well stocked in the past. The house was clean for the most part with a few things that could have been better. Beds and pillows weren’t very comfortable, the house was noisy, tub and shower head had lime.

One of the reasons I chose this place was location, the other was character. I was not disappointed, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Jonathan was very responsive to a little snafu and all was well. I plan on being a repeat visitor.

We enjoyed our short stay - we walked over the bridge to Louisville and spent a lot of time in Jville as well! Great location! Cool bars and restaurants. Comfortable beds are always a
must and the beds here are very comfortable!

The owner Johnathan was very responsive with our questions and came right away to fix the bed frame that had been previously broken. The house itself is super cute! Great location, walk to everything there in Jeffersonville and the walking bridge. Great balcony! Coffee, sugar, toilet paper, paper towels and washing detergent were all provided which was nice! Yes, even has a washer/dryer combo!
Couple of things, the house itself is on the second floor, so several stairs to climb to get to the actual unit), would of liked to of had more towels and washcloths(1 towel a piece and no wash cloths) the bathroom is nice but the shower is narrow due to it being in a claw tub which is neat but not real practical and a bathroom rug would be nice as with one towel there was nothing to stand on getting out of the shower and seemed slippery on the tile floor. The unit is decorated well but could use a good dusting as the chandelier above the table had lots of cob webs and the sliding glass doors were dirty as well. Small things, but noticeable. All in all a good place to stay!

Enjoyed our weekend. The location was excellent and the unit was as described. We liked walking in the neighborhood with our dog and the restaurant options were excellent. Property owner made sure we had everything we needed. We would stay in this unit again

We just stayed overnight on a trip to visit family. The check in and out process was easy. Very clean and accommodating. The only opportunity for improvement are the mattresses.

Came to visit family over our spring break vacation, my kids loved seeing the walking bridge from our patio at night, it was convenient location to lots of kid friendly stuff, we would rent this house again!

Overall this is a cute place in a good location. Really industrial inside and trendy decor with nice exposed brick staircase. Walkable to cute restaurants in Jeffersonville as well as to the ice rink, coffee shop, pizza place and fire station museum.
Challenges…. They nickel and dime you on what to be should have been built into the agreement already. Standard check in and check out times at hotels are 3pm for check in, 11am for check out. This was 4pm check in and 10am check out. When asked to check in early and check out later said they would need to rearrange the cleaning schedule and for that there was a fee. However when we arrived and agreed to early check in, the floor was sticky like it had someone spill something on it and there was a ton of dust thrpughout the unit and visibly seen on the refrigerator and furniture. Additionally, pillows and other linens were clearly dirty and not sanitary. I contacted the owner with my concern on the fee since the place did not seem like they rearranged the cleaning people at all, and never heard back.
Other challenge, was that they listed it as it sleeps 6, but the third bed is a futon and really would only sleep one small child. Not big enough for a full size adult, definitely not 2.
Seating area in den not comfortable for family to really hang out in to watch movies or something unless there are just two of you. The two chairs in there are more decorative and not really for being comfortable in.
I would just say I was quite disappointed in the cleanliness and the feeling that it was not really up to par with what we were hoping for and felt while the owner did respond to some things he didn’t address my concern on the cleanliness and that was our biggest issue. Hopefully they can make some changes and if so this place would be almost perfect.

Wonderful little home in the historic part of Jeffersonville. Absolutely loved the location right by the river, shops, and restaurants.

This was a great location and property to stay at. It was just a block off of the main street in downtown Jeffersonville. This is an upstairs unit so there are stairs and the claw foot tub in the bathroom might pose a problem for some.

Came down for a girls weekend! Location, check in process and communication from the property manager were all great. Only complaint would have been the cleanliness- nothing major but dishes were still in the dishwasher and floors hadn’t been swept very well. Overall, happy with our stay!

Nice Property in a Nice Area
House was nice with accompanying decor, nice area and a nice host. I expected the area would have been a little more forgiving of noise given it seems very lively and active during the day, but it quiets down pretty well at night. We found this out after being told we had been too loud one evening, so we made sure to keep it down the remainder of the stay. I wouldn't let that discourage anyone from giving the place a shot though. We enjoyed the stay. Front balcony in this nice late September weather was extremely nice.
