绝美的位置,友善的屋主,可爱的三只狗狗、一切的一切都给我和女儿留下了非常美好的回忆。等冬天我们还会再来看雪景😊
一切都很好

The breakfast was nice
Just for owners interest to be 5 star the butter could be in a dish and the jams home preserves.

It was the highlight of our trip and continues to be! Something a fancy hotel can’t provide - coziness and warmth from a family home with 3 awesome and loveable dogs!
Super clean and tidy, had everything we needed!
Beautiful view throughout the day!

Above all, it was our hosts that made our stay at Hilltop Whakaipo an unforgettable experience. They made us feel at home. The self-made breakfast and the incredible view are for sure some of the highlights.
The Hilltop Whakaipo Estate is a short drive outside of Taupo. But with a bit of planning, this is no issue and the view as well as the great hospitality are more than worth it.

Wow! The views from this property are just beautiful! We got lucky to have a couple of very clear days and from the hilltop property you could see the mountains and lake in the distance. Our hosts were super nice and accommodating and cooked us a great breakfast each day. One of the days they even got up early to make us breakfast at 6:30am before we left for the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. It's a great central location very close to Taupo but also not far from Rotorua, Turangi, and the Tongariro National Park.
A nice touch is that the shower enclosure contains the steam so the bathroom mirror doesn't get all foggy. And there's a heated rack for the towels so they dry quickly. The small touches do make a difference.
Another great thing about the property is the owner's 3 friendly Labrador Retrievers. One of them loved playing fetch and I think she could do it all day long. We also got to feed their sheep and deer in the morning, not something you get to do every day!
That we weren't able to stay longer! Everything was so great!

The venue is absolutely stunning with the most incredible view out over Lake Taupo. Peter and Michelle were the most wonderful hosts and went out of their way to make sure our every need was taken care of - from an extra early breakfast at 5.30am before we headed down to Tongariro to tackle the Alpine Crossing, through to providing us with extra swim towels when we went to the hot pools and also doing a load of our laundry. The breakfast was incredible, including fresh homemade bread. We also got taken round the farm to meet and feed the deer, which was amazing - and had lots of cuddles with their wonderful Labradors. Cannot fault our stay and would highly recommend!

Everything it has to offer from the room to the views and the added bonus of meeting and feeding their friendly deer.Their dogs where so friendly as well especially the puppy.
Nothing really except for the separate lounge you had to share with other guests and the home owner not that we spent time at the bnb.

Breakfast was cooked to your liking and choice. A large variety was offered to be cooked or continental breakfast—friendly welcome and lovely dogs at the house. Get to feed apples to the deer at the property; excellent experience. Gorgeous view from the house when eating breakfast.
That the towels were not replaced or the bed made. Would of been nice to return from a business day and the room straightened.

Very clean, had the best views. Extremely sweet and kind host. Peter and Michelle are amazing people. loved all the pets and the farm animals. Our favourite Bear and Jess are such cuties. Breakfast was delicious and we had the best coffee as well. Lovely place to stay in and relax.
There is nothing to not like about this place. It was paradise for us.

There was nothing I didn’t like. Distance from restaurants is bit too far( 11 km). Wish we could stay for more days.

we loved our stay at hilltop! Michelle was so kind and generous with her hospitality. the room was extremely comfortable and large. we really enjoyed the home cooked breakfast in the morning (Michelle used to be a cafe owner and made the best flat white) and we got to hang out with their 3 dogs and feed the deer, Molly.
