Our family has been going to Door County for 40+ years. We had a group of 16, ages 9 mos-80 years old, staying at Bill and Monica's lovely Cana Pointe Lakehouse. The house has anything you would need for the trip. The kitchen is fully stocked (including great knives), the beds were extremely comfortable, incredible views, the house was clean and Bill was always at our beck and call if anything was needed (which it wasn't). We had the time of our lives and are very grateful for such a beautiful house and lovely hosts!

Amazing!! Truly Amazing!

Our family had the best time in this beautiful home! There was plenty of space for our multi-generational group to sleep, eat, play, and gather. The views of the lake and lighthouse are incredible. The location is perfect for exploring nature along the rocky shoreline. The kids loved the swing set and lawn games, and the adults loved relaxing on the porch and around the fire pit. Bill, the owner, provided many helpful recommendations and was very responsive. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Great property. Well equipped and beautifully located.

I grew up in DC and had picnics at Cana Island lighthouse. To see it every day from our windows was very special to me. This house is amazing, so much room for our family, age one to 74. The kitchen has everything and more of what we needed. We even hired a professional chef to cook for us one night. Bill went over and beyond for us, putting a child’s gate at the stairs, tokens for the Ridges and so much more. We’ve been renting some great houses over the past 15+ years but this one was the absolute best. We will be back!

Amazing home , views and comfortable, everything you need to relax and more . Owners are very fast to respond and helpful. Perfect home for large families and if you have special needs . Highly recommend.

What a beautiful home for a family getaway. Lots of space to gather, cook together and enjoy being together. No tripping over each other due to tight space. And the views of the lake are amazing!!! They cannot be beat.

Great home to host a large family. The kitchen table accommodated large meals and family game nights. Views were beautiful and the home is close to town.

Beautiful, clean house. Spacious and cosy at the same time. Beautiful surroundings. Great communication with the host. I highly recommend it.

This amazing home was a perfect place to host our annual Women's retreat. Everything was clean and decorated beautifully. There were so many great places to gather and we all fit around the table for meals. Everyone said that their rooms were cozy and the beds super comfy. The views from the home were stunning and we walked to the Cana Island lighthouse, which was beautiful. The host was responsive and made sure check-in went well and that we were comfortable. There were many board games available for us and every supply needed for cooking big meals was there. By far the best place we have stayed with our large group.

We loved this house! Plenty of room to spread out. The location is top notch - amazing views and lots of places nearby to explore. My daughter spent hours playing on the rocks on the shoreline. This is probably the most well stocked vacation rental ever. The elevator also came in handy to bring in luggage and groceries. Owner is very responsive.

Property was beautiful, location was great and spacious for a large group. Everyone really enjoyed their time. We will definitely book in the future. Owner was very receptive to questions. Overall great experience.

We had a wonderful long weekend in Door County celebrating my husband’s birthday with our extended family. The house was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our group of 13. The common areas were great for our group to spend time together cooking, eating, playing games and relaxing. Bill was incredibly responsive and helpful in planning our trip and we hope to come back and visit again!

Perfect property and location for a girls' trip. Kitchen was well equipped. Very nice open layout with plenty of choices (inside and out) for hanging out and socializing. Beds were comfy. Beautiful views from almost every room. Owner is great to deal with, is extremely attentive and responds quickly to questions. We had an amazing time! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to others.

The house was perfect for our family--3 couples, 3 children 5 and under. The families stayed in the four downstairs bedrooms (there is a 5th that was used for naps) and used the screen porch as a gathering place. The second floor provides several places for conversation and playing and the many board games kept the kids busy when the weren't outside. It was just a great place and I would recommend it to anyone. Once the outside landscaping gets finished I would definitely give it a 5 on everything. With the little kids, though, some of the yard was dangerous for them (the flagstones piled at one end of the wall) and we had to be very careful. This is clearly being worked on and will probably not be an issue for much longer.

This beautiful house was right on Lake Michigan and made for a picture perfect family vacation.

This property was superb! It is right on the lake with wonderful views throughout. Our family is large and 6 bedrooms was a perfect size. There are also sleeper sofas in several different rooms. The owners have thought of everything---plenty of seating, dishes, and silverware. A very well-stocked kitchen for cooking. We used the refrigerator in the kitchen along with the extra refrigerator in the garage.
We brought our favorite games and our books from home but there were numerous options at the house if we had forgotten them. No one tried very hard but one of our children attempted to get the televisions to work and was unsuccessful. This was so wonderful because we spent our entire five days interacting: drawing, hiking, walking in and along the lake, playing games, cooking together and visiting different areas of Door County. We were lucky enough to find live music Saturday afternoon at a winery in Egg Harbor. Climbing the tower in Peninsula State Park was a big hit. We had wonderful weather and our granddaughters went swimming and have tan lines. (Our first full day home it snowed!). We would love to come back for another stay sometime in the future.
You can't go wrong with this property!

We decided to to spend New Year’s Weekend in Door County, and we were all very pleased with with this home!
The home is right on Lake Michigan, there are spectacular views from every room, the kitchen is well equipped to handle a large group, the beds are comfortable, there are several separate gathering areas and the host is super available to answer any questions or offer any information on the area. We would highly recommend this home to anyone!

Great property for a family reunion and winter stay. Well equipped with a great layout and space for socializing.

Beautiful, clean, well stocked house! Plenty of room to spread out. Owner was very responsive and knowledgeable of the area.
We’d recommend using the elevator for safety if you’re carrying luggage.

The DeVitts are amazing hosts! We were a group of 20: 14 adults and 6 kids ages 1-10. The pictures of the house don’t do it justice-it is stunning and the view is picturesque. The house is fully stocked with everything you could need and then some. Beds were comfortable, everything was spotless, instructions for check in and out were clear making everything seem less. The welcome basket was a very sweet surprise and the kids loved the treats! The weather was not on our side so the games were a hit! When the weather cleared for a bit, the kids enjoyed the play set on the property. Definitely will be back!! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Gorgeous Views. Comfortable beds. Quiet and relaxing.

We had a small wedding at the house, actually down on the rocks by the water. A total of 14 people that stayed at the house. We also had a personal chef and others in and out of the house for the wedding. The house was absolutely perfect!! Bill, the owner of the house, was wonderful to work with, was quick to respond, made great recommendations throughout our planning, and worked to make our wedding the best it could be. Each morning we would climb up to the Eagle's Nest and watch the sunrise. The memories of that weekend will go on forever. Thank you Bill!!
4.9
The property was clean, accurate with its description and very well suited for a large group or small as my wife and rented the property and were loved the seclusion on the lake. Bill the property owner allowed early checkin and the communication was great... The property allows great views of Lake Michigan and the Cana lighthouse and is off the main drag but very easy drives to Sister Bay, Fish Creek and Egg Harbor on the busier side of the Peninsula. You will love the living rooms and ability to seat 12 at the dining room table. Also very good restaurants on the Lake Michigan side of the peninsula such as Chives, Harbor Fish Market, Donnie's Glidden, Clover and Zot (New) as well as lunch favorites Coyote roadhouse and corner pub.

TLDR: Perfect house, perfect setting, fantastic and responsive host, fabulous vacation!
Our group used this home as work retreat and absolutely loved it! The home was beautiful, wonderfully stocked, Bill was a great resource, and we had no complaints. Here are some remarks from our group:
“Absolutely stunning views from the home, amazing spaces throughout the home, I especially loved sitting up on the crows nest and looking out at the lake, loved the screened in porch, the firepit by the water was a highlight! Loved sleeping to the sound of the water each night. Absolutely beautiful home, enjoyed all my time there. Hard to get a better setting! Owners were so responsive and kind, you can tell they’ve done many things to make this home a destination for large families and/or in our case a team retreat. I loved just staying at the house and enjoying all the amenities.”
“I felt like I was tossed back in time to a more simple and quiet lifetime….reminded me of small villages on the East Coast. Amazing sunrises and lake breezes! Everything we needed was there for us! The house is gorgeous and perfectly stocked! So many spots to gather and yet, escape, to read or take a nap! Super clean and felt like home to us! Thanks for being a super host!!”
“This home was a sanctuary for me. A place to reflect on my life, with the beautiful rooms, and breathtaking views. It is the most stunning house I have ever had the privilege to stay in. The owner was very attentive to any needs we had while we were there. It was hard to go home…”
Thank you!

This property will not disappoint. Everything you see on the website is EVEN BETTER when you get there! We had our entire family including great-grandparents down to great grandbabies and everyone had an amazing time!!! We were even able to see the Northern Lights from the crows nest on top of the house!

We have been coming to Door County for our summer vacation for years. We felt like we hit the jackpot with this beautiful home. It was the most well stocked and stunning rental property we have ever been to. Bill was gracious host and did everything he could to make sure we had a great vacation. He left us a gift basket with the local paper so we knew what was happening. The view of the lighthouse from the living room looks like a picture.... it's just stunning. The elevator was perfect for the grandparents. Ample space for a large extended family vacation. Would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful and refreshing getaway !!

This was the perfect spot for our family reunion/vacation that included 2 small children and 2 dogs!! Beautiful 180 degree views of Lake Michigan, Cana Cove Lighthouse, nestled in a more remote setting yet 10 minutes to Bailey’s Harbor and 20 to Fish Creek and Sister Bay. (Perfect for two-three couples in the off season when rates drop). We loved it!!

Wonderful Retreat
Such a great location and view of Lake Michigan! So many places to hang out with your group or find a quiet space to read. The best part is the lapping of the lake, moon rising, sunrises and watching the pelicans and seagulls. If you think you need to bring extra supplies- you don’t, its the best stocked home we have ever been in, kitchenware, puzzles, games, paper products and cleaning supplies provided. Communication with Bill was great.

Wonderful Family Celebration Spot!
Our family came together from the East and West Coast to celebrate my son's college graduation from Marquette at this wonderful home. I cannot say enough good things about our hosts Bill and Monica who went above and beyond to proactively reach out to us to acquaint us with the area and all it had to offer, even before we began our stay. They investigated our interests with local providers, solicited our feedback on the home and services and were available to assist when needed. Lovely and caring people!
On top of that, the home itself was simply beautiful. The location is lovely right on the waters of Lake Michigan. The home has lovely views from every room. The beds are so comfortable and well- appointed. Our family and friends were comfortable and happy the entire visit. We loved the secret Widow's Walk way on top of the home with views far off to Michigan and parts unknown. This is truly one of the best rental experiences I have had and I thank Bill and Monica for opening their home to our family.

Breathe Taking
None of us was to go home, and the weather was cold and snowing. But their home just kept on giving,
I can not put into words the comfort, peace and giving
this property gave! Picturesque warmth and happiness

What a beautiful house! We brought our family together (kids and grandkids) for a week during spring break. The views of Lake Michigan are ever changing and despite numerous rain days it was not a punishment to be inside given those views. There was plenty of space and privacy for everyone. We could all be eating at the giant dining room table or visiting in the den or living room. Yet when someone needed their own space, there were numerous choices for privacy. The neighborhood was great. Due to the rain we limited our usual activity, yet we found numerous great hikes right out the door and even found enough dry evenings to use the firepit under the amazing stars. This house has it all!!

This house is beyond words. It is on the quieter side of Door County, yet close enough for any and all of the activities Door County has to offer. My preference is to stay on this side of DC, as the views go on forever, and it looks different every day. The house itself was immaculate, and there are beautiful views from every single room in the house. The bedrooms are large, the common spaces are beautiful. There is plenty of room in the house, and the lift made it possible for us to bring my 93 year old mother along. I cannot say enough about the owner of this property. He was in contact with us frequently to ensure that we had a great stay. And we did. We will be back often, I am sure...this house exceeded my expectations!
