The Windsurfer Beach Chalets are located on the beach front and have the Offshore Coffee shop and bakery right next door, so it’s not far to go for the early morning coffee. It’s easy walk to the super market and park or take a stroll along the beach to the jetty for a bit of fishing then up to the Endeavour Tavern for lunch on the lawn.

The Chalets are fully self contained with everything you need for relaxing getaway, each has two bedrooms, with a Queen size bed in the main room and two set’s bunk beds in the second bedroom. Each chalet has ducted airconditioning as well. There is a covered courtyard available to all the Chalets that includes bbq’s, outdoor setting and garden area off the rear of the Chalets. Each Chalet has plenty of room for parking and there is also room for a boat or two.

All linen is supplied including towels.
The Main bedroom has a Queen Sized bed, Bedroom 2 has 2 sets of bunks (4 single adult-sized beds)
TV, DVD, Pedestal Fans, mini oil bar heaters
Fully equipped kitchen including fridge, microwave, gas stove & oven
Bathroom/Toilet
Initial supplies of dishwashing liquid, spray cleaner, sponge, scourer & toilet rolls are supplied, additional requirements are to be provided by guests
All fish to be cleaned on the beach please!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Fire issue... door lock needs to be replaced, difficulty in opening heavy door..toaster blew a fuse on our first attempt to use.Refrigerator.. very unstable, had to find foot of fridge, re attach, move fridge forward as it was sitting on uneven floor, and place newspaper underneath before we could use it. sink dish drainer needed scrubbing and soaking before we were confident to use.. Rooms small no bedside tables, no cupboards in bedrooms..bathroom small.

Reviewer Comments: Very basic accommodation, lacking basic amenity inside the unit.Location excellent.Very impractical unit layout, dated fixtures, no bed side tables, very limited storage for belongings. Absolutely no basic amenities like soap, tea, coffee, sugar. I would consider at this price point this is the very least that should be provided.I wouldn't stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Fantastic stay. The beach at that time was murky and smelly and we had to drive down to Point Ledge to swim, just wrong timing. The chalet was perfect for us, it had all we need for a comfortable stay and is literally a few steps away from the beach. Cafe next to the chalets have a lot of options. The unit was clean and the beds are comfortable. Kitchen had all we need to cook as all restos are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Would be good if they can put blinds on the back door and clothes horse for wet swim wears and towels. Over all, we loved it and looking at going back.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was VERY basic accommodation for the price. That was ok but the furniture was extremely dirty, especially the couch and chairs, so much that we avoided sitting on them. The bunk beds were unsafe for children to sleep on as the top bunks had no safety rails. We had to remove the mattresses from the top bunks so the kids could sleep safely. On the positive the location was amazing and we enjoyed our visit.

Reviewer Comments: It just shows how bad they are i didn't end up staying there ,i gave 48 hours notice and still did not get a refundi wouldn't reccomend them

Being across the road from the caravan park was great as friends stayed in both venues. Easy access to the beach and town is in walking distance.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Access to the accommodation was easy with the help from Leah. The fly screen door at the front could not be locked and the fly screen door at the back could not be unlocked. The accommodation was very clean and the beds comfortable. It is clear there has been some updates made. Curtains in the property are looking a little worse for wear with some dirty marks (food maybe). The position is great and that’s what you pay for. Expensive if you compare to accommodation over the road at G’day park. Not sure why an $80+ cleaning fee was required when booking. Hoping we get that repaid as we left the property as clean as we found it.

However at check in we were unable to cook dinner as the oven and drill did not work. Only one element in on the stove worked. Very hard to cook with dinner for 4! Maintenance never arrived to fix during stay as mentioned.

Awesome location, very clean and plenty of room to unwind and recharge after a day at the beach. Would be the perfect place to stay with a group as we could all have our own chalet but eat together in the large bbq area.

Reviewer Comments: Chalet was clean and well presented though the TV remote needs new batteries so we were unable to use it and the barbecue was unclean and had no control on the gas knobs resulting in my husband being singed when using the barbie.

The stoves don't ignite the gas, curtains are not hung properly and look unsightly, no hot water in unit 1 so we moved next door. Very disappointed except we did get a refund for day 2 as we didn't stay.

Reviewer Comments: This property is very old and needs a lot of TLC..The handles on the front door were an instant put off .. very much in need of replacement. The unit is advertised as 2 bedroom? Master is in an alcove with a curtain. Not as clean as we would expected and you pay a $45 cleaning fee? Position great but would not stay again unless major upgrade.

It was a last minute booking so accepted the basic but clean property. Ideal location within walk away from amenities. Struggling getting the basic old fashioned cooker and stove to work but staff were there within minutes .

Myself, my husband and children visited for my birthday weekend. We attempted to contact the manager prior to arrival a few times to no avail. Once we arrived we were still unable to contact anybody and had no check in instructions. We were very fortunate the neighbour to the property had the managers number and called for instructions on how to gain access to the property. Once inside we noticed it wasnt very clean , there were ants on the kitchen bench and surrounds, the oven overhead was sticky and dirty with bugs on it, and there was hair in the main bed. The bunk beds have no ladders to climb on and off the top bunk safely. Unfortunately our power went out before bed and did not return for the rest of the stay.
