Perfect! Cant wait to go back

Excellent choices for breakfast and my husband especially liked the fruit and warm brownies! I appreciated cold water bottles and great location to both the beach and downtown for shopping! It was all lovely and will definitely stay here again

Beautiful inn, fabulous owners and cook. Shout out to Betsy, Ruby and Phoenix.

Location, quiet, superb brekkie, clean room . Fresh bakery on offer every day throughout the day plus coffee, and tea. Really felt cared for. Gluten free was no problem

Needs more lighting in the Forget me not room. Remodel kitchen nook, so it’s not such a tight squeeze when there are many guests.

Cute and comfortable B&B would stay again.

The breakfast was fantastic. It was quiet and comfortable. Location was good, just a short walking distance to town.

The house is old so we could hear the guests above us walking around. The only room that was available had a full size bed so we felt a little cramped.

It was a nice get away for a couple days.

The room was very comfy And the Inn was beautiful. We really liked the daily brownies and candy. It was also nice to have hot tea available when I couldn’t sleep.

More choices for breakfast. Many shops and eating places closed for fall.

One of the most delightful weekends we’ve had in a long time

4-5 choices for breakfast. Delicious food, very accommodating, plus a blueberry bundt cake every morning left out to help yourself with, as were yummy chocolate brownies all day long. Beautiful antiques everywhere, several cozy nooks to sit and read the many many books housed throughout this adorable B&B

For such a wonderful experience overall, the coffee could have been a bit better / stronger. It was not as good as the food and the rest of the stay. All else was great.

A truly wonderful stay!!

What a find the Yelton Manor was. We were attending a family wedding in the area and wanted to stay on the lake, in South Haven. We paid a little more than we usually would prefer, just to be comfortable and really enjoy our time in Michigan. The Yelton exceeded my expectations in every way. The place is beautiful, old, and in great shape with such personality! It's from the 1800s and there are tons of little cozy nooks and crannies to sit in, read books in, and warm yourself in front of a fireplace...there are books, antiques, and artwork everywhere. I only wished we were able to stay a week to spend more time at the inn itself, relaxing and taking advantage of all they had to offer. The breakfasts each morning were wonderful - the coffee divine! So many little extras everywhere...chocolates, blueberry cake, brownies, cold water, ice, fruit...your wish is their command. Dan, the caretaker when we checked in, was a wealth of information. He recommended Taste as a local restaurant our first night and it was perfect. Our room was clean and comfy - we were in the Avery Suite. I emailed the inn as soon as I booked to give them information on my small service dog and they were so accepting and wonderful about having her, as pets are not allowed. Even though we have a family home nearby, we will come back and stay at this treasured inn in the future, for sure!

Enjoyed the jazz fest and our stay at Yelton House

The staff was very polite and our room was very inviting and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast and the fruit was very fresh. We would love a variety of breakfast breads ie bagels, muffins, multigrain toast, scones. Thanks

The Manor offers everything needed for a lovely beach stay!

There were five options available, offering an excellent variety. The two we chose were delicious! There was also fresh fruit to grab, brownies and or coffee cake, and a great sampling of beverages.

No changes to suggest. It was truly a lovely stay.

I thought this property was ” on the beach” but no. You must cross the street and down thru a parking lot.

it was clean and decorated nicely, breakfast was tasty

toilet didn’t work right and the staff and other guests weren’t friendly. I’ve never stayed at a B&B that was so inviting and welcoming.

A very enjoyable stay at a nice facility in a great location with excellent supporting staff.

Food was excellent. Choices were limited, but the staff showed very good flexibility. And there were several neat locations to sit and enjoy breakfast. Either alone or in conversation with other guests.

Our room was a bit dark. It was hard to get enough light to read.

Super comfortable beds. Good nights sleep both nights.

Breakfast is limited and is a vegetarian kitchen so no meat available. But food was delicious.
