The name of hotel, and getting the hell out of there. Workers were friendly
Little roaches, bugs, blood stains on furniture, not family friendly needs to be renovated extremely, title was misleading

Great location, walking distance to several restaurants! Nostalgic stay at a "room for rent" style vintage motel, bathrooms down the hall. Bed was just as "vintage", but I expected nothing less. Friendly staff and quiet residents, but there is a fire station right down the street. Overall a great place to stay for the price!
Does need a new mattress.

Friendly staff
Rooms for $60 do not have a shower and only light from a lamp. The $80 room is on the way through the roof with dirty linens, no duvet cover, torn towels and a flaky bathroom

None. I did not stay at the hotel. I decided to leave the room due to the low quality of the hotel and the facilities. In my booking, I requested accommodations for my partner who has mobility problems, but they gave me a room on the second floor and without elevator. I requested my money back but they did not comply. I lost $95 for the booking. Can I get my money back?
The location was awful; it was location in a high risk area of town. As a result, they lock the entrance of the hotel at 9 pm. The hotel smell badly and even thought tit appears that they did their best to clean it. I saw electric wires exposed and the use of risky extension cords to power one of their cameras.

The clerk was ok.
She needed to be bilingual. She didn't speak English
The dark lobby and the snack stinky rooms, dirty and burnt sheets. No air conditioning in the room. Ugly beds, sat on it I sank in.
I stayed 15 minutes in the room. I left because I was so scared, no emergency exit, one way in and out.
Towels were dirty and dingy.
I was scared to stay in the hotel.
I want my money back!!!!
I wish I would of taken pictures

The whole hotel. Is awful. The person from the staff who take guest to the rooms asks people for money, I paid for the room through booking.com and he asked for additional money in the room without giving us a receipt..
they don't change the towels and sheets.
They don't throw the garbage.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY! Avoid this hotel at all costs.
Lots of health violations in the room we received. The room looked nothing like in the pictures. There were cockroaches and ants crawling everywhere, including the bed, furniture, towels, etc. The sheets were not clean with a lot of stains on them. The room itself was not clean and looked absolutely disgusting. There was no electricity in the bathroom. We saw the room and left immediately, still waiting to receive the refund from the hotel.

Location was nice for downtown Brownsville. Low key, no frills stay. Water pressure and water temp in-room was outstanding.
No peep hole in the door--that would seem like a standard thing, that is missing here. No coffee in-room or at the front desk.

Neighborhood was somewhat desolate.
