Would have been good if had own car park. We did find a space in nearby car park but a bit stressful.

A lovely place to stay and a must if you are in Alnwick

Fantastic room any fan of Harry Potter would love it, breakfast was fantastic the staff were lovely and are an asset for the business

Lovely room

Luxurious bathroom, great attention to detail in the Common Room. Room was quiet and clean, with very comfortable beds.

Expensive, for what it was. Room was lovely but I wouldn't rate the food in The Dirty Bottles as highly. If I returned I'd eat elsewhere.

The Dumbledorm roon

Brilliant room and themed hotel over all. We had a wonderful stay and the room itself was brilliantly themed with everything you could need. The dirty Bottle was excellent too we had breakfast both days and stopped for something to eat in the evening.

Other than some noisy neighbours in the Chamber on the last night it was perfect however it would have been great if breakfast was served till a little bit later.

Incredibly magical visit

Our experience was truly remarkable. The hotel, a stunning historical structure, boasts numerous remarkable attributes. The staff members were exceedingly amiable and accommodating, consistently providing a delightful experience. The restaurant's cuisine is of the utmost quality, earning a perfect score of 10/10, and the portion sizes are exceptionally generous. In conclusion, for any Harry Potter enthusiast seeking to immerse themselves in the wizarding world for a night, I wholeheartedly endorse this establishment!

Cosy, clean and steeped in history.

Love the cleanliness and the decor was fab. - stayed in the Chamber. Love the option of a bath. Staff were brilliant.

Sound travelled, so we could hear the muffled conversation of those staying in the next room, so take ear buds.

It was a nice place but not really for us

Large bedroom and bathroom

The toilet seat was broken and the coffee machine leaked everywhere! The fire alarm went off during the night and there were no staff at the property so guests were left to deal with it

Happy with our stay in a quirky, characterful hotel with nice humorous touches

Breakfast was fine; well prepared and tasty. Breakfast was not served until after 9.00am; we would probably have eaten a bit earlier if that was available.

Een geweldige sfeer en een geweldige ervaring.

Det hotel was echt enorm mooi ingericht en overtrof mijn verwachtingen wat dat betreft. De inrichting was pressies wat je kan verwachten van een kamer met een Harry Potter thema. De rest van het hotel (inclusief de hallen) had een vergelijkbaar gevoel. Het restuarant was sfeervol ingericht en het eten was er enorm goed. Het was een geweldige beleving om hier te mogen verblijven. Ook was het hotel op loopafstand van de grootste atracties in de omgeving, zoals: Het kasteel en de tuinen. De gastvrouw en andere werknemers waren enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Ik kan oprecht zeggen dat niets tegenviel aan mijn verblijf bij dit geweldige hotel. Ondanks dat een overnachting best prijzig was, zou ik zeggen dat het de prijs meer dan waard was.

Great stay!

The room was amazing (even to my partner who was oblivious to any Harry Potter references) lovely little touches like the coffee maker, nice toiletries, robes. The bed was so comfy. Team was friendly and breakfast was nice.

Room was so comfortable and luxurious. The Harry Potter theme was great and the kids loved it. Breakfast excellent. Brilliant location. Wish we'd stayed a second night.

Really close to the castle. Excellent atmosphere.

Only minor thing, breakfast isn’t served until 9, traveling with our daughter ment a long wait for the breakfast.

Great restaurant with rooms

Centre of town. Restaurant was excellent and staff were very friendly. Car parking very easy. Harry Potter rooms were fun, comfy bed.and nice bathroom.

No storage or table in bathroom for wash bag etc

Every Harry Potter fans dream

The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. The hotel is very well themed for us Harry Potter fans and is well located to places to visit. Will definitely be back.

Not worth the price.

Room was clean and well presented. Location was pretty decent and in the centre of the town.

Rooms weren't soundproof. Could hear rooms next door and also the bar downstairs. Staff didn't seem like they wanted to be there. Breakfast service was incredibly slow considering we put in our breakfast card in reception the night before.

Excellent boutique hotel with great food and very friendly staff.

Location is superb for visiting the town and the castle. Breakfast was first class and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Only minor downside is that there is very little sound proofing between the rooms and so can hear people in room next door talking, coughing, snoring etc.

Had a great stay

The only slight issue with breakfast was that it is usually only served 9am to 10am BUT the staff were extremely accommodating in bringing it forward half an hour for us.

Dinner service finished a little early for us but there were plenty of other places to eat close by.

Beautiful building and decor, with amazing location.

Other guests very loud (we had a child so we’re respectful of others with noise).As it is an old building there is no soundproofing so if you’re bothered by noise this may be a problem, and the fire doors slam loudly too. Didn’t bother me but my partner is a light sleeper. Room was very hot in spite of turning radiators off, but the fan in the room helped.

Quirky, fun design but without compromising on comfort - the room had everything that we needed and the bathroom felt luxurious.
