Good central accommodation, high standard

Very central, great location to easily walk to railway station, shops and amenities. Pleasant environment, quiet and safe, with appealing views to main town square. Accommodation of high standard, secure premises with all necessary facilities thought of and in place.

Accommodation is of high standard. Very minor issues occurred to me during my stay. Main front door is heavy and challenging to open when entering with luggage. Not much clearance space to get bags in and out front doorway. Especially difficult if travelling solo. Inside apartment it would be good to have coat rack/area in entranceway for coats and outdoor wear. If wet or Wintry weather, you would not want to take coats /boots into main lounge area or bedroom. Would be good to be able to open a window in main area for fresh air. Good for general ventilation, but especially if/when cooking. Imagine this would be even more important in warm Summer weather. A shelf or similar in bathroom to store toiletries and personal effects (spectacles etc) would be helpful. A wall clock would be another helpful addition to help occupier too.

Very close to everything just walking minutes to bus station and train station and high Street plus only minutes to the beach

The only thing I didn't like is the flight of stairs to get to the apartment which to be fair I didn't ask for ground floor

Great location with free street parking, lovely Italian restaurant nearby, quiet and secure location.

Street parking nearby, the kitchen had everything, the ability to log into a generic Netflix account.

The bedroom was lovely, a new mattress could improve the experience however.

Lovely appt with a nice view on the market. Close to a (not so fany) indoor mall and the trainstation to Edingburgh. In the big bedroom you have a lot of privacy and hear the nice sound of seagulls.

It was close to the beach and the apartment was fantastic and had everything including towels soap shampoo conditioner toilet roll hairdryer etc I literally didn’t need to take extras there was also dishwasher then washing machine and tumble dryer downstairs in utilities room just brilliant I will definitely go bk there 😊

The flat was beautifully decorated, in a good location, it was clean , the bed was comfortable.

For the price paid, there should have been tea, coffee , sugar, and milk supplied. The front door lock didn't work, which was fixed after I reported it. However, it stopped working again after a little while. Also, it would have been great to be able to open the windows in the living room.

Nice room in a college town

Well maintained property. Very clean with comfortable bed and sofa bed.

There was an additional security/ damage deposit that was required for the rental. It was not billed through the booking website. Instead, they asked for funds to be sent to their bank separately, which was pretty suspicious at first. I was able to obtain a link for payment instead and paid online. This turned out to be legitimate, and the deposit was returned upon checkout.

- very clean -everything needed for a family of 4, including some jigsaws and books for the children - washing machine and tumble dryer available to use in the communal area if needed -free Wi-Fi and use of Netflix - apartment 3 very spacious, we had 2 adults and 2 children in there with plenty of room - very handy having the kitchen facilities, fridge and freezer available - perfect location

- nothing not to like really, however we did find the pull out bed in the living room slightly uncomfortable, maybe a thicker mattress topper or something would help this, it sank abit in the middle but fine for a couple of nights. Also, don’t sit on the end of the pull out bed, the stand doesn’t like it and tries to fold under

- Cleanliness - Quiet - Easy check in or check out and easy to enter and exit the flat without using keys or cards, as the door is opened by code. - All the necessary amenities for your stay (shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet paper, towels, coffee, tea, iron, cooking utensils, microwave...).

- Distance to Edinburgh city centre - Weekend train connections to Edinburgh have limited morning and evening timetables.

Everything about Mandela house apartments was amazing, from the commutation to the apartment to the location 10 out 10, highly recommended 👌 (loved the 6ft + radiator) im going to buy for my home 🤩 Everything was perfect a home from home amazing

amazing highly recommend this place.

the property was lovely and clean and modern with everything you would need during your stay. beautifully decorated. bed was comfortable. staff where amazing the host we seen a few times was very welcoming always happy to have a chat. we stayed in apartment 1 would highly recommend this place and ℹ definitely would be back again great location.

Nice little apartment

Close to the centre. Nice and warm. Quiet too. I'd come again...

Felt a bit cramped with 3 to be honest with the sofa bed down but we were out a fair bit.

Very good

We stayed in the double room (with ensuite) which was very clean & nicely furnished. The room was quite small but together with the shared kitchen, we had everything we needed. The house was very central & it was very good value.

Although it looked new the shower didn't work as well as we would have liked.

Very very clean. Dropped a bit of water on the floor and used paper white paper towel to clean. I've never been now surprised in my life. The paper towel was white still . Their cleaner does a 7 start job I've never been in a cleaner place TV with Netflix everything

Didn't know it was a bit far from Edinburgh which we'd come to tour Long trip there otherwise the place is neat and cleaned to the T

Superb

The apartment's located right in the centre, yet very quiet and safe at night. The host/ co-host was very helpful, promptly responsive and polite. The apartment matched the photos, very well equipped and had everything we needed. The building and the apartment itself required codes upon entering, so didn't need to worry about keys and felt very safe. We highly recommend this place to anyone.

Free parking during the day could be tricky, but there were more than enough at night/ early evening.
