We appreciated our time here. Nice view and hot tub. Quiet location. The home was clean with the exception of the dishes.
There was the slightest smell of smoke (maybe just second-hand/on the clothes of a previous guest who didn't smoke in the home but was a smoker) when we first arrived, but nothing that didn't dissipate with some fresh air.
The dishwasher didn't leave the dishes very clean (on the highest and longest setting) and some of the dishes in the cabinet were dirty getting them out for the first time, so we ended up having to wash everything by hand (and often before using them the first time).
Otherwise happy with our stay here.

Nice home.
Surprised that the primary suite bathroom didn’t have a shower. Bathtub w/ a shower head, but only long enough to use if you sit in the jetted tub. Tub is std length at 60”.
No TV’s in any bedroom.
Garage, but no opener to use from the car.
There’s a spa, but it wasn’t well cared for. Murky water didn’t allow us to use it.
Deck needs repairs.

We loved everything about the property. The house is beautifully designed and furnished, the view is breathtaking, hot tub was clean, comfortable, and ready-to-use on arrival. The neighborhood is quite and peaceful. Gas fireplaces in the living room and bedroom, also a great feature. Would stay here again for sure.

Awesome house with a great location.

My husband and I came to Idaho for a getaway. Our daughter is based in Spokane and she came to visit while we were there. The house was beautiful, clean and has everything we needed. Unfortunately, my husband ended up in the hospital (perk we were just a few miles from it) and our trip was not as expected. We were happy with our rental overall and have a few comments to provide the owner privately. Highly recommended.

Nice place! Great location! Beautiful area!
The shower in the master bath is a tub with a shower handle… not for standing. We shared the other bathroom for showering.
I do recommend staying at this location!

We could tell from the listing that this was a nice house but were still surprised at just how nice it is. Luxurious throughout with top line finishes on the floors and counters. The bed in the master is some sort of memory foam mattress and was very comfortable. Wood paneled walls, an open wood ceiling, tile floors and really incredible bathrooms make it a special property, but the view across the valley of Hayden Lake is truly spectacular. We had a continual flow of deer past the deck. Not one or two, but several at a time, and often. These are within a few feet of the sliding door in the living room, so they are really up close. We have stayed in a number of Vrbo homes but never anything like this one. A really special experience.

The house is amazing! Better than the pictures! We had a wonderful stay here. The owners are very easy to contact and respond quickly, answering any questions. Would definitely stay here again the next time I come to north Idaho. Thank you!

Everything was amazing. We arrived on Friday and left on Sunday and everything was clean and nice. It is also a nice location, close to all the stuff we did. And the view in the morning was amazing. We went to Triple play, Scarywood,
And shopping. It was a nice little getaway. Thank you for the excellent communication also!! I will recommend this to anyone. Have a wonderful week!!

This property was well kept, easy to get to and we enjoyed seeing the deer in the neighboring front lawns. Great communication with owners. Beautiful place for a great price.

House was beautiful, views out back of lake and mountains amazing. Loved the hot tub. Thank you for prompt replacement of tank for firpit. We loved our stay.

We loved our stay! The deck is really the star of the show, great hot tub, views of the lake, and propane fire pit below.
Tons of wildlife all around and quiet, starlit sky at night, and a great neighborhood just to walk around and admire.
AC was important for our summertime stay and worked great. Beds comfy and clean with lots of pillow options.
The dishwasher did leak when we first ran it, but the host was quick to respond and send someone out.
The master bath was wonderful but know that is not a shower, so be prepared to have a single shower. Great trip!

Great stay. House is beautiful. Location is great, view is beautiful. Saw deer and quail every day in the backyard. Needs a can opener in the kitchen, and a couple spatulas of planning to cook. Otherwise, a great stay.

The house was quite nice but the view was the star.

We stayed as a group for a family reunion weekend. The home was lovely but our only drawback was that it was not as well appointed as other places we stayed at in terms of kitchen accessories. It was simple things like salt/pepper, grill tools, a muffin tin, etc. it was functional but not outfitted as well as we had hoped for 6 cooking for adults. But, the owners were super easy to communicate with and check in was easy. You can’t beat the sunrise and sun beams over the lake views in the master bedroom!

Our stay, here was very comfortable and it seemed user-friendly for us, our daughter, her husband, and a four and six year-old. The hot tub was very pleasant to use in the evenings. We met David and he gave us some good recommendations for restaurants to visit, the TV had gone out and he replaced it with a new one the next day. Thank you.

This is a lovely home with a beautiful view. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the outdoor firepit. We saw deer in the yard every day we were there.
The house was comfortable. The only real negative is that the master bathroom has only a tub. It's a beautiful soaking tub, but it would have been nice to have a shower as well. Actually, the listing specifies that each bathroom has a shower so that should be corrected. We had four adults and all had to shower in the guest bath. Not a huge deal, but would probably have picked a different home as we had to be up and out of the house early each morning.
When we arrived, there were only three towels between the two bathrooms. We texted the host and they delivered four more towel the next morning. They were great and easy to work with.
All in all, a beautiful home.

A great house with plenty of storage for all your needs. A well equipped kitchen to cook your meals. Greats views and very quiet surroundings. Pleasant experience overall.

The inside of the home was beautiful, I really liked the tile work and the gorgeous Maple trim. The outside needed some TLC. Overall though the experience was GREAT!!

Had a great time at the house. Well stocked with towels, soap, shampoo, beach towels, kitchen utensils and cookware. Nice view out the backyard with gas fire pit and 4 chairs, or table and 4 chairs. Clean hot tub. We would stay again!
Cons-floors were vacuumed but not mopped, our socks were dirty in no time. Master bathroom has a bathtub but no shower head or curtain.

We had tweens, and a baby with us for this stay. It was the perfect layout to give everyone space, along with an "at home" feel. Everyone was able to relax and enjoy the home amenities. The view was serene, the neighborhood was quiet. It was close to town. Hosts were very accommodating and even dropped off a birthday card for my 12 year old. It was very thoughtful.

This was the perfect size for me and my best friend and in a great location. The view and hot tub were the best. The front bedroom and bathrooms were a little dark so we recommend some better lighting but overall we loved it!

My friends from high school plan a ski week every year. This property was one of the best we have stayed at and the communications with the host was outstanding. I would encourage anyone looking to stay at Coeur D'Alene-Hayen to look at styaing at this property.

This property was perfect for a cozy winter getaway. Beautiful home with two fire places and a hot tub. Gorgeous view, easy access to town and heated driveway.
Would love to see the view in the summer.

Very well updated & comfortable home just minutes from Hayden & Coeur d’Alene. Although it’s in a neighborhood it’s very private & you’d barely know you had neighbors at all. Highly recommend for a getaway to northern Idaho.

This is the second time my brother and I have stayed at this listing in the past year. Very little had changed about the property, which is located in a pleasant, quiet suburban neighborhood in Hayden Lake. The house appears pretty mundane from the outside, but it has been remodeled in a truly first-class manner inside. The best part of the property is the fabulous view that looks out over Hayden Lake and the surrounding countryside, with sweeping mountain vistas. Equally enchanting is the endless parade of birds and other animals that frequent the back terrace, including white-tailed deer and fawns. The magpies were very comical and raucous, but the California quail with their tiny chicks were memorable. We gave all of our leftovers to the animals, and they were dedidedly enthusiastic. The extremely hot weather limited our desire to be out on the deck and terrace to mornings and evenings, but we had several hours each day when it was pleasant enough to sit out; the rest of the day we spent traveling and exploring, and the air conditioning worked superbly, so we were never uncomfortable in any way. The amenities are robust, with a very workable kitchen sporting everything we needed to prepare a fairly complex meal (although we didn't choose to cook much). I would say the value for money ratio of this property is very high, especially in this part of the world in the late summer, and in this particular neighborhood. My brother and I can rate this property at five enthusiastic stars, and we plan to return again next year. We would not hesitate to recommend it to our friends and family. We came specifically to pick huckleberries, but the season was late and the berries were scarce, much to our disappointment. However, there is so much to do in northern Idaho that we wished we'd had another week to explore.

Quiet and picturesque
This was a great choice for us. It's a well-maintained home in a quiet, well-kept neighbourhood with a beautiful view over Hayden Lake. Very clean, with comfortable beds, and responsive hosts. Recommended.

The lake views and wildlife were spectacular.
My stay was a quiet much needed rest and the property allowed us to do just that.

Week in wonderful temperatures!
The kitchen could have been stocked better. Essential items such as salt/ pepper, trash bags, just common necessities in general.
The place was lovely and had wonderful workmanship on the woodwork and tile work.
We all agree we would definitely go back fior another stay. All the golf courses we played were close and super beautiful.

Impeccable home with Hayden Lake view and nature
This is a high-end home, beautifully fitted and maintained, with all the amenities required for a memorable and comfortable stay. It sports a highly functional kitchen, spacious main room, beautiful wood details throughout, and a fabulous view of Hayden Lake in the distance, with lovely mountains even more distant. Our favorite aspect of the property was the large deck and stone patio that looks out on nature and feels very private, in spite of the lot being fairly small and narrow. The master bedroom and bathroom were elegant, with more than ample closet space, plus the same splendid view of the lake and nature. The second bedroom was smaller, but large by any standard, and the second bathroom was in the hall next to that bedrooms, in other words, quite convenient, but not as private as the master suite. The kitchen was easy to use and had many amenities, including a large fridge, ceramic cook-top range, and two microwave ovens. My brother and I, both in our 70s, shared the house and picked huckleberries in the nearby mountains, so the laundry room with sink was perfect for cleaning and preparing the berries for freezing. The washer and dryer were both large front loaders; laundry detergent was provided, along with other cleaning supplies for the kitchen and dishwasher. The property also sported many attractive shrubs and large trees. Our favorite aspect for the overall experience was the abundance of wildlife: several young deer congregated in the neighbor's garden but kept peering optimistically in our direction as we sat out on the deck eating dinner, hoping that we would share our leftovers with them, which we did. Many different bird species congregated in the high conifers on the slope in front of us, giving us a "bird's eye" view of their activities. Since the heat was intense (up into the 90s and low 100s every day), the plants and animals were stressed, so we put out extra food at bedtime (cherries, cantaloupe, watermelon, etc.), and everything had been devoured by next morning, and I mean everything. We also watered some of the wilting deciduous shrubs with water from the kitchen. Our participation in the natural environment added immensely to the charm of our overall experience. This is a first-class property with all amenities included, and would satisfy the most demanding vacationer who wants to prepare at least a few meals in-house. It was among the easiest properties either of us has ever stayed in. Great value for the money!
