About this towable trailer rental
Please contact me first before reserving if you want local delivery! Also if the dates you're looking for are not available, message me to double check. If your trip starts or ends on a Federal holiday, there a may be an additional $75 convenience charge added. Fee will be waived on 1 week+ trips.
We are now 3 years into owning this camper and it's a great way to "force everyone to be together" and minimize screentime! Renting an RV is also a perfect way to try before you buy too. There's no way we could go back to tent camping....we are looking to upgrade to a 5th wheel so we are looking to sell, $31,000 obo
Please note that long-term stationary rentals will be higher than weekly rentals. (Too much wear and tear) Please submit the dates and I will send over a quote.
Quick update to this listing since we just completed our first week long trip. We have everything ready to go and can give you a full walkthrough so you can have a stress-free trip! 3-5 hours is the range for driving in one day for us. 3.5 seems to be about ideal. It generally let's us checkout and get on the road, then allows for enough time to enjoy the next stop along the way.
Enjoy the freedom of being able to go anywhere you want! Stay safe and not worry about being in a hotel/motel with lots of people. When you get to your destination, detach and drive away- much better than a Class A motorhome if it's a short trip. If you don't have a truck to tow with, see Turo details at the very end of the listing.
This camper will sleep 4 kids/teens in the bunkhouse, 2 adults in the main bedroom + 2-4 on the sleeper couch and convertible dining area so you could sleep 10 people! 3 slideouts gives you a ton of room! Extra insulation and 2 AC units will keep everyone cool during the summer as well. It has an electric fireplace which provides plenty of heat in mild weather too. (We barely used gas on our September Maine trip)
Fridge/freezer has plenty of space for all your food, and it will run off the battery for 12 hours, so you can load it up before you go- and the outdoor camp kitchen makes for easy outdoor food prep. (Mini fridge, sink and griddle)
Just installed a wifi booster with exterior antenna- this will pull in the wifi from outdoors and repeat it indoors, so you get a stronger signal. No guarantees, but it will make the most from what you have. Also have a 5G hotspot available as an option. (I need it for work too) We found that there's enough room to have 3 kids in virtual school at the same time with no issues (for a week)
Linens not included- but available for an additional fee. You will need a queen and 3 twin sets for the bunks/couches.
The reason why we went with this specific unit is because it has the sleeping capacity we wanted, plus 2 bathrooms with 2 entrances and a washer/dryer, so you can do your own laundry.
There is a full kitchen set, with settings for 8. Cups and some coffee mugs, and there's also disposable plates/cups in the pantry. Mixing bowls, cutting board/strainer, pasta pot, skillets, oven pan, cookie sheet. Foil and plastic bags are all ready for you to use. Mini Keurig, Full sized coffee maker, and toaster oven.
4 camp chairs are included in the storage compartment. This rig requires 50A power, but has a 30A adapter. If using 30A power you can only run one AC at a time (it will run one on low and the fan can run on the back without popping the breaker). The water heater, stove and furnace run on propane.
FYI- the model in the listing details is not the exact model. The actual model is a Puma Palomino 32BHQS, but it wasn't available in the dropdowns, so I chose something similar. There is no generator included by default, if you are staying somewhere without power, you will need a 30A/120V Generator. If you have any questions, please reach out!
Please make sure your vehicle has the necessary towing capacity. If you need a hitch please contact me. The height from the ground to the bottom of the ball should be about 16".
Camper needs to be returned in same condition. Holding tanks must be emptied, and propane tanks returned full. Additional cleaning fees will be deducted from deposit.
If you need a truck to tow it with, check out my truck on Turo! It seats up to 8 people with the 3rd row seating, and still has a 6' bed for plenty of stuff!
