About this house rental
Welcome to 1 C Red Cloud Loop! Powder Ridge Cabin tucked in old-growth pines. This rustic mountain retreat is perfect for both families and friends all year round. Enjoy grilling on the deck and taking in the vast mountain views, then soak in your private hot tub after dinner. This cabin has both a living room and a family room, so if half of your crew wants to watch the game while the others would prefer a movie then everyone can get what they want!
During the winter, ski right out of the cabin and hop onto the "White Otter Access" Trail. From here you can ski right to the base of the resort and either take the "Explorer" lift or go down "Mr. K" to take the "Swifty" lift. Enjoy your lunch by skiing down to the Mountain Village and walking over to the "Vista Hall" where you'll find food-court-style eating. There are many options for everyone there!
** White Otter opens in mid-December and closes on April 9th. We cannot control the lift schedule for ski access. If you have small children, you may need to shuttle them to the resort as they may not be able to ski the runs.
During the summer, bike to Lake Levinsky for paddle boarding and kayaking. You will not run out of things to do in the Mountain Village! Activities range from hanging out at the lake to mountain biking, ziplining, rock wall climbing, bungee jumping on Big Sky Resort's trampoline, and more. Don't forget to reserve a day or two to drive to Yellowstone National Park. The hour drive is as scenic as the park is- seeing "Old Faithful" erupt is definitely an item you want to check off of your bucket list!

Additional Notes:
We are a local property management company. So if there is anything you need before, during, or after your trip, please let us know!
This home does not have air conditioning.
Most homes in Big Sky don't, thanks to our typically mild summer temperatures. For a true Montana experience, we recommend our classic "Montana A/C": open the windows at night to let in the cool mountain air, then close them and draw the blinds first thing in the morning to keep the cool air inside throughout the remainder of the day.
Transportation to Big Sky From Bozeman Airport:
In order to experience all that Big Sky has to offer, it is helpful to have access to a vehicle during your stay. This allows you to travel seamlessly throughout the community from the Gallatin River to Lone Peak. While ride-sharing and taxi services are abundant in other communities, Big Sky remains a small town with limited options for transportation. We offer a 5% discount code to Explore Rentals for confirmed guests. They are located minutes away from the Bozeman Airport and provide 4-wheel drive vehicles with dedicated snow tires in the winter and all-season tires in the summer!

Great property! Two Pines did a great job maintaining the property and responded quickly to one minor issue. 5-stars!

The cabin was perfect! So cozy and comfortable for our family. Excellent location and able to ski in and ski out on white otter access. Great emails with a text and call from Two Pines prior to our arrival. I hope we can return soon!

No complaints. As described.

Three families booked for 6 nights. Location is fantastic but many items needed to be addressed before we arrived. Instead our group was constantly calling in to have repairs and fixes made throughout our stay.
Outlets shocked kids in the rec room, outlets smoking in basement bedroom. Smoking outlet fixed only to create a new problem that left the basement fireplace on, no way to turn off, yet another visit.
Basement bathroom (for kids) glass shower door didn't stay on track, making it impossible for the kids aged 7, 9, 12, 12, 13 unable to use the shower. This was glanced at on one of the visits, but no fix made the whole visit - this put us down to 12 people with 2 bathrooms.
8 bags of trash were left in the garage from the previous renter, another trip for the management company.
Not enough supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, etc) - yet another call to the management company.
Hot tub issue was called in but we never heard back. Googled the issue and fixed on our own.
Requested contact from management company after trip, still haven't heard back. Completed survey for management company, this also didn't get a response.

Property was as advertised! Clean and great for our family of 5! We cooked in a few nights and kitchen was fully furnished! Easy ski in/out because access was right behind the garage! Big Sky was wonderful!

Our family had a wonderful experience at this property. It was so helpful to have a kitchen with all the supplies needed as we ate in for all our meals. Thank you Twin Pines for making our vacation such an enjoyable experience.

The managers were very prompt In bringing us supplies after we got there. The place was clean with a very nice equipped kitchen. A water/ juice pitcher would be a nice addition though. Parking was a bit tight. The only negative thing I’d say was the sidewalk and stairs were not shoveled so was slippery using them. We shoveled what we could that wasn’t ice or too packed. We had a wonderful time with our children and grandchildren.
