Great spot to stay between Marquette and the pictured rocks area. The unit was clean and well stocked. Communication with host was great, she responded back quickly when I messaged her. Will stay again if we head back up that way in the future. Overall, a great little spot for a family getaway.

Great location. Next to ice cream, grocery and pub. Easy drive to the beach, picture rock cruise and national park. A lot of falls and hikes nearby. Owner was very responsive to all messages.

This exceeded my expectations! The only issue we had was communication regarding check in, but I easily contacted the manager via VRBO site. I would definitely visit again!

Great location to Pictured Rocks. The property was spotless and very well stocked. We had everything we needed and more. We appreciated the ample supply of towels. Great set up for couples. Nice area outside for camp fire. We would book again.

We spent 3 nights here and it was perfect. The property had everything we needed and some things we didn't even think about, it had. It's all very new and clean, well thought out. Separate bathrooms for each bedroom was awesome. We used the grill and had a campfire (wood was included). Dishwasher and laundry saved the day. Met Martha and she was so warm & friendly. Planning on making this our regular meeting place with friends. Also liked the bar and Co-op around the corner.

The host was friendly and knowledgeable. The home was clean and well furnished. The linens, bedding and mattresses were very comfortable! The close location to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore made this a perfect spot to stay on our family vacation. Thank you for the great time!

This place was a great hub for our stay in the U.P.! Clean, comfortable, full working kitchen, great that each BR had it's own full bath. Loved the firepit!! Easy communication w/ owner. The Co-op market had a little something of everything. Easy drive to Munising, Marquette, Grand Marais.

Enjoyed the property very much. Nice bedrooms though the one room is slightly crowded with 2 sets of bunk beds as well as the queen size bed. All other rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The outside patio was nice to relax. The whole unit was very clean. I would recommend.

This was a great home base for our week of hiking in Pictured Rocks. We had everything we needed and was great to build a fire in the evening on the patio—perfect for stargazing. Our waitress at Chatham Pub was super friendly and the ice cream from Mama Cow’s was fantastic.

Perfectly located right in the middle of Marquette and Munising this location gave us perfect access to the beauty of the U.P. The property was spotless, the beds were soft and comfy, and the patio area made for a perfect atmosphere. 10/10 would stay again.

Clean and well stocked home away from home!
This was a great place to stay as it had EVERYTHING we needed. It was clean and comfortable and well stocked with all the necessities. The co-op store had plenty of groceries, the pub had great food and music and Mama Cow’s had the best ice cream and they are all within a 2 minute walk. We really enjoyed our stay and will come again in the future.

Close to tourist towns and far enough away to kick back and relax.
The property is exactly as described. We were there to do the "touristy" things in the UP...Tahquamenon Falls, Grand Marais, Pictured Rocks, and Marquette. There's a great pub right across the street and an ice cream shop just a short walk away. We loved having this as our home base. Tons of clean towels and all the comforts of home. Oh and good wifi with a smart TV.

Beautiful, clean, well stocked property
The property is very clean which we find very important. All the dishes, glasses, mugs and flatware are clean as well as where they are stored, unfortunately this is not always the case in a rental unit. The hosts are responsive and friendly. We did run into an issue with the a/c they took care of immediately. The town is very small what they list in the description are all the businesses in the town, there is no cell service at all in the town. Once you leave the unit your phone has no service even outside the door. We had issues with the internet inside as calls were dropped. We did contact Martha as we could not find the router to see if resetting it would help. We asked if perhaps it was in the router was in the unit next door and we were both using the same network meaning it was not private. She told us the router was in the floor (?) and she reset it. We looked and there was no spot in the floor we could find an opening for a router. Working in IT, routers are never installed in a floor. Wherever it is stored, it is not close enough for you to have continual internet service. If internet/cell service is important to you while traveling this may present an issue. The only other recommendation we make is that they put in better curtains to block out the light so you can sleep better. Other than that the property is fantastic and we would recommend it.

Great location for UP adventures
This is a true hidden gem. Not in the hustle of Munising or Marquette but an easy drive to both. We did lots of hiking at Pictured Rock and adventures around Munising and it was an easy drive. Bonus of a grocery store and ice cream shop within walking distance.
The large parking area will be ideal for multiple vehicles or trailers for snowmobiles in the winter not to mention the trail is literally out the back door !

Nice layout and patio area
We really liked the layout of this property which was half of a duplex. There was a concrete patio with grill and fire pit. Originally I thought it was a shared patio area for both sides of the duplex but each side had their own. There was a wall unit for air conditioning and heat but also vents in the wall. We couldn't find the thermostat for the vents in the wall so cold air was coming out when it was already cold. I asked the owner about it and never received a reply. There was also no checkout requirements posted or given to us. I asked the owner about that also and never received a reply. I just messaged the owner about what we did for checkout before we left. We were in the area for Pictured Rocks and the waterfalls. Munising was about 20 minutes away but the drive was scenic and we quickly got used to the distance.

This place is wonderful and located not from some of the places we wanted to visit in the UP. It provides a comfortable stay and is a half block walking distance from a very nice local store where you can find all essentials too.Martha, the owner, was very friendly and asked us to let her know if we needed anything. The kitchen and bathrooms were nice and clean and had everything needed to prepare food for ourselves, including various most common spices. We would definitely go there again when we decide to visit the UP again.
