About this house rental
The owners of Magnolia House in Tulsa are now serving travellers in the country! Come home to comfy, rustic elegance in the woods. Mornings, enjoy your coffee and the colorful show over the mountain in front of the bay window. Nights are quiet here. Dark enough to make a campfire, see the stars, and sleep peacefully. Quiet enough to hear the resident hoot owls and coyotes. And if you get hungry or restless, the 1-44 exit is 6 minutes away, with shopping and eateries galore. Come to the woods!
The space
Redbud Valley Lodge is a 3,600 sq ft split- level home with two full kitchens, four full bathrooms, laundry facilities, outdoor deck and grill, and 5 untamed acres for couples, groups, or families to explore. We designed our Lodge at Redbud Valley to reflect the peaceful, captivating natural setting all around it. The Lodge is nestled into the side of what we Okies would call a mountain😉. So far, we've spotted an armadillo, 2 types of owls, coyotes, opossum, and 2 herds of deer. We've even seen giant hawks and an occasional bald eagle. And SO MANY different birds! Be patient and quiet, and who knows what you'll see!
A few minutes down the winding country road from us, you'll find Redbud Valley Nature Center- a great hiking adventure for young and old! There really isn't anything in the Tulsa area prettier than this Valley. If you'd like to "unplug" with your loved ones, this is the place.
Guest access
You have five acres to enjoy. There is a washer/dryer in the house. The back deck has a grill, and we have a campfire area, as well.
Other things to note
ABOUT TV: There is a 75" TV in the lower level den area. Lots of plush seating and cozy throws/cushions to get together and watch a show. THIS IS THE ONLY TV! The Lodge is about trees, sunrises, wildlife, campfires, outdoor grilling, birdwatching and relaxation. We aren't being cheap.... we're just not big on sleeping, eating, and bathing with a TV!🤷♀️😉

Great country property near everything but very quiet and relaxing. The home is appointed well with great bedrooms and a wonderful selection of baths! Two kitchens! It is a great retreat for relaxing or exploring the greater Tulsa area.

Location is nice. Wendy is extremely communicative. House very large. I did like having two full kitchens. The downstairs got Hot, Summertime will be rough. A/C unit probably not big enough. There was a portable unit upstairs that made it cooler. Plumbing is very loose in showers. There is a wasp problem upstairs, I killed probably 10 during our stay. There is an Overwhelming amount of little glass trinkets inside this house, so be careful. I tried to move as many as I could up high but my 2 year old still managed to break 3 of them. Furniture needs updated, very old. The upstairs king mattress needs replaced. Can tell someone very large slept on it for a long time. It felt like you were sinking in the middle while also about to do a back flip out of it. I had to turn it 180 just to be able to sleep. House really has potential but not taken care of properly.

We had family stay here during our daughter's wedding weekend. It was close to the venue (Bella Donna Chapel), had plenty of space/bathrooms/bedrooms, was quiet and comfortable. Easy check in and out. Responsive host!

We had 3 families that came for a concert in Tulsa and wanted a place we could stay together. This house was perfect and gave us room to spread out comfortably but also still all hang out! The bedrooms were spacious, and having 2 living rooms and refrigerators was nice. Given the brutal August temps we did not explore the outdoor space, but it was beautiful. (We hope to get back sometime so we can use the fire pit and walk the property!) It was less than 10 minutes to restaurants and stores and no more than 25 minutes to downtown Tulsa. Wendy was great to communicate with and addressed some potential concerns before we even got there. There were fresh flowers everywhere, which we all noticed and loved! Overall a wonderful stay!

The owner, Wendy, was great. She made things very welcoming with her fresh flower arrangements and all her special touches throughout the lodge. Lovely things to look at everywhere. Very homey and comfortable in a peaceful country setting. Nice large kitchen, so many can participate in food prep and then sit around the large table - that was funwonderful. Comfy beds, many nice bathrooms and lots of space for gathering. If there was a downside, it was the steps both into the lodge and having to bring the groceries up to the top floor kitchen as a few in the group had a hard time with steps. But overall, a wonderful, special place. Thank you Wendy.

Owner was very friendly and helpful. Property was clean and comfortable. Because it was out and kind of secluded the internet didn't always connect, but that helped us to spend some much needed famy time together. It showed the kids their face doesn't need to be in a screen 24/7...if it had been they would have missed the deer we saw.

Fun time at the Lodge
This house worked out great for me and my group who came into Tulsa for the PGA Championship. It's conveniently located less than 10 mins from the Hard Rock Casino and restaurants, convenience stores, etc., but secluded nicely for lots of privacy. The communication with the host was excellent. Some minor repairs needed (smoke detector was beeping when we arrived, A/C condensation dripping through intake filter onto floor below, light bulbs needing replacing), but nothing that hindered our experience.

Groomsmen and Spouses
For our daughter's wedding to her out-of-state groom, we rented this VRBO for five groomsmen, some of whom brought their spouses. They loved the space! It was a real blessing to all of us.

Graduation get away
The property was great, as described and more. We loved the stay and it worked for everything’s we required. Only negative was that it may be a little buggie for city folks.

Pretty home but tough terrain for older people
We had older people staying with us and one recovering from surgery so the terrain was difficult for us. The home was really pretty with hardwood floors throughout with beautiful unique furniture that makes you feel at home. It was fun walking around looking at everything. Priced well for the accommodations. Some older appliances that could be updated but overall great deal. Plenty of room for big families. We had great communication with the owners and they were very accommodating. There are a few things that need work and we let them know so hopefully they fix them before the next stay.
