Perfect stay! Everything was so nice and clean and the condo had everything our family needed. So close to the pool which was a big hit with our younger kids!
We never felt like our kids bothered anyone there which was so nice after reading some of the reviews and have 4 kids 9 and under. The snorkeling at beach club was sensational and a perfect spot for young children to swim! We will be visiting again really soon! Thank you!

Condo was clean as a whistle and most comfortable, resort was well maintained with a nice walking trail, convenient to beaches, dining, etc. Terrific community pool with spa about 50 yards away. Manager communication excellent, all in all wd recommend warmly.

The condo worked fine, however, I was expecting an Ocean view and we got a lava view. The air-conditioning fan is very noisy inside. There were no instructions how to get to the beach club and we got very lost on foot. Most kitchen items were great, however, not enough mugs for coffee. All of the shelves in the kitchen above the first one we’re way too high for someone who is short, they could be lowered. The deck was so small we could not fit six people on it for dinner. Next time I prefer a first level condo.

We loved the location. It was private and yet close to a fantastic private access beach. The snorkeling at the Muana Lani Beach Club is worth staying alone. Of course, a full functioning, well stocked kitchen made life easier and less expensive. We will keep this property in mind for future trips. Thanks to the owners for the use of the property.

We loved our stay! The property was very clean and perfect size for 4 adults & 2 teens. We loved the pool for those cloudy days not at the beach. Property contact person was very fast to answer any questions we had. Beach club access was convenient for those days we wanted to stay nearby. Would definitely return!

Amazing place, sparkling clean, great communication with Manager. BUT - this complex has a very 65+ vibe and kids don't seem to be welcome. We got dirty looks and actually had someone come out to the pool to tell us to be quiet. We were throwing a ball. It was Spring break. This place is not for poolside fun - which is fine, but I wish this would have been shared in the listing. I would have stayed somewhere else, preserved the old folks' peace, and my kids wouldn't be made to feel bad for... being kids.

Very well furnished and equipped. Great location for easy walk to trails, beach , shops. Nice lava fields private view. We had 2 adult couples and 11 year old grandson. Plenty of room
The only suggestions are to get more lights/ lamps in bedrooms, bathroom door privacy, and fix older ceiling fans and vents.

We stayed here for 2 weeks and were very impressed with this property! It’s very quiet and clean you can walk or drive to a great snorkelling beach. Close to everything you need to see. Overall a great holiday.

We chose this because of Mauna Lani beach club access where we like to snorkel. Unit had everything we needed for blissful beach days and living.
The only problem we had was the TV set in bedroom. The sound was not good no matter how we reset it. But we don’t watch TV much so it wasn’t much of a problem.
We snorkeled every day at ML, two-step (best) Mauna Kea and had a great time.

The property is beautiful. Nice pool area and walking distance to the beach and grocery. Easy drive to Waimea and Waikoloa which allowed us to meet friends and family daily. The unit is well cared for and had all the essentials for our week stay. Management notified us in advance that the cold water in the master tub was out, but showers worked perfectly. Lanai has a built in grill and overlooks the Kalahuipua’a park. Was great to be able to sit outside and watch the sunset in a quiet area. Great for extended stays.

4 nights of bliss. We had problems with the fridge which was immediately fixed. Beautiful sunset views. Friday night we bbq'd on the lanai while listening to the Mauna Lani's luau - far away but still fun. Fantastic pool and spa but don't walk over there barefoot unless you want to scorch your feet (like I did) on the lava black pavement!

Dissappointing... property needs some attention
This is a property that does not seem to be cared for by the owner/management company. There were numerous problems, including: (1) there was no cold water operability in the master tub; (2) there was a dining room chair that essentially fell apart when we tried to pull it from the table; (3) the WIFI did not work for the majority of our stay; (4) left hand sink in the master did not drain properly; (5) AC unit lacks a filter and has a squeeling noise, probably the fan bearing going out; (6) dishwasher did not clean dishes properly; (7) TVs are very old and and the set up is so so difficult to figure out; (8) some of the doors doent close properly; (9) there are missing pulls on the dresser making it difficult to use; (10) rug in the living room is filthy; (11) we found old food in some of the drawers; (12) the kitchen is sad, lacking most of the things you would need to prepare a meal, its been picked over, and (12) there are marks on the wall, particularly in the twin/twin roon that really need attention. Very dissappointing for the price. The decor is very bad, old, and tired. On the positive side the complex is very well taken care of (exterior), pool is great, parking sucks. Would not stay here again or recommend. Owner needs to spend a week there and a new management company needs to be found.

Beautiful View
This upstairs unit has a wonderful view of lava fields and lava tubes. It’s a pleasant one-mile walk to the snorkeling beach. The pool area is gorgeous and right across the entry road. Foodland market is also a short walk or drive away, so very convenient.

Exceptional Big Island Home
The property is beautiful- better in person than the pictures. Gorgeous decor, beautiful pool, quiet surroundings. The resort is spectacular and Trudy was highly responsive and very easy to work with. Anything you could need is provided. Book this home - you won’t be disappointed!

Lovely stay
We came for the Mauna Lani beach where we enjoy snorkeling and being able to access it when the public parking lot was full was appealing. What we did not expect is a lovely view over the archeological field to glimpses of the ocean beyond. It is a relatively private feeling condo and generally well equipped. The swimming pool area was very pleasant as well

Great location and amenities
We really enjoyed our stay in Mauna Lani! We had two young children with us, and were appreciative of the provided amenities and beach equipment! While we didn’t visit the Mauna Lani beach right nearby, we loved being close to Hapuna, where we spent a lot of time! Being so close to the pool in the complex was also a huge plus (though we didn’t find the pool to be super friendly towards kids - we were asked to stay quiet, which is hard with a 2 and 4 year old while swimming). There wasn’t a lot of restaurants nearby, but there is a grocery store really close which we loved, since we planned to cook most meals and pack lunches for the beach. We had a little bit of cleanliness issue when we arrived, but we contacted the host and they quickly remedied the situation. We would recommend this property, and would love to stay again on future visits.
