It was comfortable and clean. Love the back deck with fire table. Wish check out was at 11 instead of 10. That’s a little early for a checkout time. Also communication a little slow hearing back when I had questions. The host seemed suspicious of us and asked us for a summary of why we were coming. She also asked others about me and inadvertently sent it to me. That seemed a little odd and made me uncomfortable although I understood she’s had unruly guests. I’m sure not going to pay for a place and then cause damage. But overall we loved our family time.

The Benjamin was great! We were in French Lick for a convention and this was very short drive to the French Lick Resort. The place itself was very comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely book this place again if we're ever back in French Lick!

Quiet neighborhood in a historic area.

We came to town for a cheer competition at the French Lick Resort. We wanted to luxury of being able to cook and relax after our competition. This house was cute, comfortable, clean and perfectly located for our event. The host was super friendly and easy to get with. The neighborhood was quiet. We would recommend staying here if looking for any of the above!

If you're read all the other glowing reviews of this property, I don't know how much I have to add --- everything you've read is accurate! This is a lovely home, in a prime location overlooking the West Baden Springs Hotel. This home is meticulously maintained, both inside and out, and was much more spacious than we expected. Everything we needed for an enjoyable stay was provided, including a lovely welcome basket of snacks and festive holiday decor throughout the house. In fact, the house was so comfortable that after we left, I realized we did much less sightseeing than normal, because we were so happy to relax and hang out at The Benjamin! Highly recommended, and we look forward to coming back!

Cute cozy home, loved the personal touches and ease of use!

Loved the Benjamin House and all the special touches our host put into it. Many times a home will have Roku TV but no memberships to the streaming services. There's were set. The snacks were a welcome treat to us and our grandchildren. We had a family game night at the house and colored wooden pumpkins as well as enjoying the firebox on the deck with hot apple cider. Great tips on the surrounding areas. Hosts were quick to respond and eagerly available. Thanks Becky for everything.

Myself and 2 others stayed at the Benjamin because we were working in the area. It was a nice locations, clean home, plenty of towels. It was a nice place to come and relax after a busy day. The internet was the only downfall, it was spotty with the tv and difficult to work with on the computer. Otherwise i would recommend this home.

who ever renovated this home needs to go back to being in another field. The floors were covered with a thick carpet pad and a thick rug. This covered sagging floors and bad floor joist. Lots of trip hazards in this home. The master shower hot & cold contro is not secured to the wall. The shower doors open as you shower. The kitchen floor was done with some sore of tile. Some tiles are loose and some stick up cauding trip hazards. Other than these issues it is an old house that had basically cosmetic work done and if done by a professional I would not have paid him

Property was clean and nicely updated. It’s in a bit of an aging area that hopefully is in the process of being revitalized.

The Benjamin was just as described. It was very cozy. It was also very clean. The neighborhood was quiet, and it was like we were the only ones on the block. Jay and Becky were easy to communicate with and very helpful. Overall great stay. Would recommend and would book again.

Had a great time site seeing & shopping at French Lick, West Baden & even Jasper. Weather was great so we enjoyed the back porch at night. Wish we could stay longer!

Clean, cute, very appealing decor, and comfortable. The location is great! Our stay was only two nights so the thoughtful snacks were great! We didn’t have an opportunity to cook in or enjoy the nice patio but know the kitchen is well stocked. Wish we could have stayed longer . The Benjamin is outstanding and the hosts were the best!

Just back from our stay at West Baden at the Benjamin with two friends. The house was close to perfect in all ways being very clean, modern and roomy. Beds were very comfy and we all slept well! Quite neighborhood but it is rather sketchy (run down) but we adapted after being there for a day. The front porch steps need to be more accommodating (sloped and need possibly one more step). However, we couldn't have chosen a better home being close to everything. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks for letting us enjoy your place!

Had a great time, good location, place was clean, but outside steps to house are difficult to climb for older people.

My college girlfriends and I had a wonderful reunion weekend at the Benjamin. The house is exactly as pictured, comfortable, and well-stocked. Jay and Becky are excellent hosts and we enjoyed all West Baden and French Lick have to offer. Hope to come back again! Thank you Jay and Becky!

A nice quite place that is close to most things on French Lick.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Benjamin. The house is decorated in such a lovely manner. It is extremely clean and the beds are very comfortable. Everything is exactly as it is in the pictures. The back deck is very inviting as well. We did not get to use it because the temperatures were so hot. Overall, it was a fantastic stay.

We had a nice, enjoyable, quiet stay at the Benjamin. The house was perfect for our 3 kids and us. The house was spacious and stocked. We had a full rainout day at Holiday World but somehow we came back to the house, enjoyed each others company and enjoyed the setting!! Thanks Jay and Becky for letting us enjoy your home. Becky and Jay thought of everything! The house decor is eclectic, fun and comfortable. Suggestions for where to eat and what to do were great and accurate. We will definitely be return guests next time we do overnights in French Lick area.

We had a great time at "The Benjamin". The house was sparklung sclean, and comfortable. There were lots of extras, from snacks to pancake mix and syrup, which we used. If we ever come back to French Lick, we will definitely stay here again.

We liked the home overall. The ac was out and they added window units but at night it was still hot in 2 of the bedroom we loved the floor plan and the deck I would say the only thing I would change is a better way to park Everything was clean and neat all had a place Thanks for allowing us to stay in your home

We had a conference to attend in French Lick but wanted a quiet place to ourselves for after the conference and The Benjamin was perfect! A great space for the 4 of us to unwind, laugh, learn, and plan!

This was our second stay at The Benjamin and I would recommend it to anyone! The house is full of lovely touches that demonstrate that Jay and Becky truly care that each guest has a fantastic stay. In addition, they go above and beyond to treat guests, not as renters, but as friends. The AC went down in the middle of our stay. When it was determined that it could not be fixed quickly, they immediately bought window units, drove up from their home, and personally installed them to ensure our comfort. I have nothing but rave reviews for Jay, Becky, and their adorable Benjamin.
