The TV worked and great location.
The bathroom shower floor was gross. The shower walls had masking tape all over them from holes. The toilet barely flushed. The bed was ok but bumpy. Lots of smell of weed in the lift.

We didn't have breakfast at the hotel. Very nice room.
We could find anything to dislike

Nothing everything was spot on as usual

Clean and comfortable, good location
Staff were very unwelcoming, they made us feel like they were doing us a favour by serving us a drink.

This was a late booking due to being let down last minute on a booking at the Symphony ('over booked'). We were later informed by a restaurant owner that the Grand Harbour was definitely an upgrade from the Symphony, which has a terrible reputation locally.
We had booked the Grand Harbour at an hours notice. Staff at check-in over at the Royal Britannia were friendly and very helpful. They kindly stored our 2 bikes & directed us to the Grand Harbour entrance just up to street. We were very pleasantly surprised to find a tasteful, recently refurbished hotel/annexe of rooms. Our ensuite room was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Much nicer than expected.
The building was quiet and we had a comfortable night's sleep. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room and toiletries were also supplied (body wash / shampoo). Breakfast over at the Britannia was okay.
The Grand Harbour seems to be an annexe of rooms served by the Royal Britannia just a few minutes down the road. So does not have its own reception / bar etc. You check in at the Royal Britannia but don't get this information until your booking is confirmed. There is no private parking but I think this is similar for all hotels in the area there is a pay & display car park a short walk away.

Better than it looks, both on the internet and externally. An annexe to Royal Britannia hotel but it is only seventy yards. Has been modernised in recent years.
Breakfast good but arrangements for it pretty basic.

Great location by the harbour with parking nearby. Room & bathroom clean & overall great value.
Only one teabag but having stayed before this unusual

The room was clean and tidy
It's more of a hostel than a hotel, booking in is across the road in a sister hotel, as are all the amenities the hotel advertises

Location was perfect. Room was clean and modern and bigger than expected. Bathroom was nice and clean and building felt safe and secure. Check in over the road was weird but niceness of room made up for it. Breakfast next day was also over the road and was fine but there are also plenty of places to eat locally.
Sea view would have been nice.

The shower was slightly too low for tall people

The breakfast was superb. The staff were really friendly. The check out system was exceptionally easy
It was a bit confusing to check in at one hotel and stay in a different one but the process was explained by the staff and it worked out well, The lack of a good view from the room was a bit disappointing.

Excellent location for the harbour and a boat trip to Lundy. Some great pubs and restaurants within yards of the hotel
Doesn’t have it’s own car park instead it’s a pay and display public car park a few minutes away . It was ok for us in April but I’d imagine it gets very busy in the summer months

It was right in the centre of town, great for a stop on our S W Coast path walk.
It was comfortable enough for somewhere to sleep for one night.
It looks like it's fairly recently been done up, unfortunately looks like they ran out of budget. Curtains in the room were nice, but the curtain pole was a complete bodge job. The beds looked nice, but the mattresses and bedding were cheap and not the most comfortable.
Laminate floor made everything noisy and wasn't put down well.
Shower was nice and hot and good pressure but there was a horrible black shower curtain so had to shower in the dark!
It just looked like they ran out of budget, I think the lino in the bathroom was an off cut they found somewhere (was stained and badly put down, making it look dirty)
Floor could have been cleaned better.
My main concern was that the very abrupt receptionist too a copy of my card, without any explanation, she insisted she see the card I paid with (even though I had already paid) then scanned it into the computed, she didn't tell me that she was doing this or how or why my details were being stored. Needless to say, that card was cancelled and a new one ordered. I have never had this happen anywhere before and certainly didn't expect it from a cheap budget hotel.
All in all it was an ok stay for one night during our walk. I wouldn't stay again.

The room was clean and spacious. And it was in a great location. Nothing was too far away to walk from. Bed was very comfortable.
A couple of minor things but really could have done with coat hooks on the back of the doors, both main and bathroom. And more hangers needed in the wardrobe.

Good location and price
Very hot in the room and not the comfiest bed. The reception being separate from the hotel is strange.
