Everything was exceptional from Irene's warm welcome to the personal touches and feeling of staying in a luxury hotel. The house is beautifully furnished with everything you could need and the terrace and balconies make the experience even more enjoyable. The village of Aliki has wonderful beaches and is a pleasure to explore. Recommended without hesitation for your dream holiday.

We, a family of five, spent 8 nights in Irene’s House and will remember it for ever. Such a lovely house in such a lovely place. And Irene is just the best😊.So warm, welcoming and serviceminded, and with an exeptional eye for detail. Professional brochures, bed-sheets and towels with the Ih logo (Irene’s house). It felt like living in a luxury hotel while still feeling at home. The house and apartment is very nice, bright and light. Balcony for every room, air condition in the livingroom and in each bedrom, beautiful furniture, comfortable beds, such nice rooms and bathrooms. And also beautiful decoration handmade by Irene herself, that could easily be sold for good money (you really should consider it Irene :-)). It all felt very new, fresh and nice. And in addition everything just worked so well. There is a dish-washing machine, microwave and espresso-machine in the kitchen, a separate small room with a washing-machine with a very good short program of 15 minutes for freshing up clothes and towels. Beautiful and functional lighting and multiple electrical outlets in every room just where you need them. Good internet connection for streaming with wifi booster so works great anywhere. Also the parking space for the car is private and for one car only, so no risk of someone accidently scratching the car. A real plus.
We had never been to Paros before and was not sure what to expect from Aliki. What we hoped to find was a «real» place, not just made for tourists, with nice beaches, some restaurants and prefarably a bakery and supermarket. Aliki turned out to have it all. We had a car but still spent 5 out of 8 days in Aliki. The restaurants are very good and prices lower than on other parts of the Island (not very much but noticable, especially compared to Naoussa in the north). The beaches are also very nice and we spent most days on the Beach St. Nikolas. Few people and beautiful waters.
Irene actually asked us when we left (while dropping of a goodbye delicious homemade treat and gifts, say no more:-)), what she should improve to be even better and give her guests an even better experience. We honestly could not think of a single thing to improve, that pretty much says it all😊

We loved staying at Irene's place. The house is clean, well-equipped and spacious, with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Aliki is a charming, quiet village with great restaurants, kind people and beautiful beaches close by. My family loved the routine of an early morning walk, a quick swim and stop at the bakery for delicious pastries.
Irene is a warm, caring host who goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. We really appreciated all the small details, the treats and gifts. We hired a car and Irene gave us some great recommendations for exploring the rest of Paros.
Thank you to Irene and her family for such an amazing time!

Irene's House is a spacious, impeccably clean apartment in a fabulous location, literally 3 minutes walk from Aliki beach. The terrace has stunning views and offers a great place to relax throughout the day. Irene and her parents were delightful hosts. Irene gave us a warm welcome showing us the property and providing us with all the needed local tips for our stay. She was always reachable and helpful for any request we had. Definitely one of our best picks on the island. As frequent visitors, we highly recommend it!!

Communication with the owner Irene was very good, friendly, and she was quick to respond to needs and emails. Her nephew came to check us in and show us around the house and met us there on time.
She even sent me a happy birthday message.
The view from the terrace is lovely and the spot is quiet for sleeping.
A market is within walking distance.
Irene had a cleaner come to the house mid week to refresh us all.
Transportion on the island of Paros is challenging if you have a group of people over 4 and buses run only to two areas and very infrequently and go in one direction only around the island of Paros. Several YouTube videos on Paros said that bus travel is good. This is not true! Cabs are hard to come by as well even at the port. A list of Aliki cabs should be provided for travellers, as a suggestion. Not all companies will speak English, naturally. Transpotation vans have to be reserved for a journey in advance and the charge a high flat rate each way, but they cannot always be had. A car is a must. A suggestion for happier tourism on the island would be better served with minibuses such as Istanbul has to get around easily and cheaply without stress.
The house is charming and well equipped, but for 6 people, the extra cot provided is not very comfortable for guests.
Booking.com took the full payment not just a deposit days after booking the place, which was not really acceptable. Normally, once you arrive and can see a place, the remainder is charged.
