Like the cabin very much, went in November 2023 and loved it. This time was very dirty, floor was so dirty had to wear shoes around. Rugs very dirty, bottom of tables in living room dirty, and the oven was dirty it set off smoke alarm when we turned on. Big rug under coffee table curled up on end which is dangerous could trip over, also dirty.
Could use a good cleaning overall.

The house itself looked nice and was extremely clean, the open floor plan was perfect for Christmas with my family.
The house is well stocked with anything you might need (not enough towels).
The foosball table was a huge hit!
Everything is so close if you need to run to the store.
The back deck was perfect for relaxing (except for the constantly barking neighbors dogs)
The bathrooms were beautiful.
The bedrooms are nice and spacious.
No privacy inside the home/ walls are hollow.
The wood under the bed in the second bedroom was broken and my mother fell into the bed.
The front glass door would not close, it was also broken I think.
I brought my 3 month old and it was almost impossible to get her down for her naps because the house has no insulation at all, even with doors closed it was like still sitting right in the middle of the living room, You can hear everything in the house, definitely not recommended if you want privacy at night.
You will not get the mountain view you are looking for here, while the view you get is still beautiful at times this house sits on a property that feels and looks like a trailer park.
I love that this place is dog friendly but the neighbors dogs bark all day long.

location facilities
trash from prior rental in completely filled up outside cans all week and smelled. no where to put our trash so took to dump or froze wrappings to throw away last day. road was washed out hard to get up snd storm 2nd night made almost impossible to get my Altima last section up to driveway. luckily daughter had suv we could carefully maneuver up last leg of road.

Exceptional customer service 24/7 and cleanliness of cabin.
Dogs barking during the night from mobile home on hill behind cabin.

The location was very convenient to restaurants, shops, train station. The house was perfect for the two couples who shared it. It was clean, cozy, comfortable and quiet. We did not have any contact with our hosts, but appreciated their efforts to provide a nice mountain get away.
An earlier review suggested a lamp would be nice in the living area. We agree. The bathrooms were huge and very well designed, but an additional towel rack would be useful. The area rug in the living room curled up on one end and should probably be taped down to avoid possible trip ups. These are just little suggestions to improve an already great space.

The cabin was beautiful. It was exactly as described. The amenities were everything you needed and the internet worked perfectly (very important when traveling with a 13 year old)! We hope to stay her again when we come back in the Spring!
The neighbors are extremely closer than expected, but no bother at all. Everyone stayed to themselves and there was ample privacy.

Brand new house! So comfortable. We loved the back porch. The beds were so comfortable! There was lots of space. There was a keypad, so no need to meet up with anyone. WiFi was great! Plenty of towels and washcloths and pillows. So much dresser and closet space! Clean and spotless and brand new! We’d come right back!!!
We were there for a whole week, so we ran out of a few things...garbage bags, kitchen towels, paper towels, and just one half of a sponge to last the week. Since we used the kitchen for 2 meals a day, we needed to stock up a bit on foil, etc. The kitchen isn’t completely stocked, yet, because it’s so new. However, there is a grocery store just around the corner! Google map all the places that you want to see so that you are not surprised that it’s a bit of a drive to the major vacation spots. However, you will discover some gems this side of the Park because of it. So, it’s not a complete negative. We were happy to be away from packed Gatlinburg!
