Location location location, the view (that is what you are paying for), distance to the beach, although the beach was grim (too many sunshades and people - not a natural beach). The town was lovely, lovely, lovely.
We weren't told until we arrived that there'd be major gardening/construction works above us with a chainsaw in operation for 2 days. We were only given a 10% discount, when I would have considered 33 - 50% discount reasonable for the invasion of privacy, noise and general loss of beauty of the location from the disruption. Also there were no knives for cooking that was annoying at the least, and when they arrived - late - they were blunt. And the dishwasher appeared not to work, although that may have been our issue.

Very nice host, great view, great balcony

First of all, the location is stunning, the view when eating breakfast or just having some drinks in the evening is an experience in itself. The house itself is beautifully finished and furnished, everything is provided. Everything was spotlessly clean, more cleaning products were also provided.
The host not only greeted us but also spent a good while showing us what w can do and how to get the best out of our stay.
The beach and restaurants are close by, they just require a short walk down the hill.
It's amongst the best stays/experiences we've ever had anywhere. A place where we would love to come back in the future.
Nothing.

Extremely helpful host. Frank met us as soon as we arrived, holding a space with his car for us (parking is not easy on the Amalfi Coast). He helped us to leave the car in free parking on the road above entrance to the apartment, and we used ferries the rest of our visit. Frank provided lots of great advice and English printed resources, as well as beach towels. The balcony overlooking the sea and beaches was extraordinary. The ferries, restaurants, and beach are walking distance down a path from the apartment -- a steep walk, fine for us and our 3 teens, but it could be challenging for less mobile guests. Frank helped us find a driver to take us to the start of the Sentiero Delgi Dei, the Path of the Gods from Bomaro to Nocelle and Positano -- very highly recommended moderately challenging hike. We almost locked ourselves out of the aparment late on a Saturday night, and Frank was available if we needed him to let us in. The apartment was clean and very comfortable. We also recommend a family ceramics store in Vietri, if you go down and up into Vietri and walk 3 blocks: Ceramica Pinto, https://www.ceramicapinto.it/ The free beach access was good, but we preferred the beaches at Positano after a beautiful and easy double ferry ride. All of the restaurants we tried in Vietri were good and vegetarian friendly. Overall, 10/10. We hope to go back soon!
It was a bit loud at night from music and restaurants, but that's August in Amalfi Coast with a great location near a town center. And the sea breeze meant that evenings were not too hot. The cool nights were worth the trade off with the noise.

Amazing view, spacious and clean appartment with the parking included, well equipped, practical washing machine with a dryer, the owner is a very nice person with positive energy, he also left for us complimentary bottles of wine and water and gave us a little souvenir at the end of our stay. Beach just few steps away. Fully recommended for a beautiful stay in Amalfi Coast

The property was spacious, so clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated in the local style with gorgeous tile . The outdoor space and view were just incredible . Just like the pictures . It was amazing to spend four nights there . There is a good pizza place and gelato ( eco Mare) close by , along with some other restaurants
We loved using the ferry to travel between towns. We walked down to the pier ( which we can see form the balcony). We could go to every Amalfi coast town as well as Capri. Taking the bus was not a good experience. We tried to take the bus from Salerno one day when the weather wasn’t good , but it never stopped at our stop. We walked once to Vietri Center . Would’ve gone back , but it was quite a long walk.

The location, the sights of the bay, the possibility to easily reach every point of the Amalfi coast by boat avoiding car traffic. The balcony and the spacious rooms. The facilities. The host was very pleasant and helpful
The only point is that you need to do some exercise to walk down and especially up from the city to the residence. It’s great if you’re in good shape and helps you stay active

the location. it was perfect
would have been great to have 2 double bedrooms rather than 2 single beds

Location was great with beautiful sea views from all the rooms and a city and sea view from the balcony. The town is quieter than others on the amalfi so it is great to have some calm in the evenings and mornings and head to busier locations if that is what you are looking for. It's only 5-10 minutes walk from the ferry and the bus from stops outside the house.
Our host was super responsive, kind and very well-informed about what to do and how to get around.
Rooms were clean and had everything you could need with irons and washing machine for cloths and loungers for the balcony.
It was really a perfect stay
Nothing - I was a little worried about some of the other reviews mentioning steps, but they are nothing to worry about in my opinion.

Franco was a fabulous host very pleasant and very helpful. The apartment was spacious ,spotless and well equipped. The views from the outside terrace were fabulous .Very convenient for catching the ferry to other towns along the Amalfi coast.Vietri sul Mare was a lovely town ,not overly busy or commercialised like some of the places along the Amalfi coast.Trains were very reasonable ,we caught a train from Naples down to Vetri, also to Salerno and Pompei.
There is a steep climb up and down to the sea front and then a very steep climb up to the old town and railway station
This town nor the Amalfi coast in general is not good for people who have mobility problems .

Franco met us to hand over the keys and was lovely. Make sure to call him in advance, as he will wave you down on the street. It's hard to see the house numbers otherwise. This is especially important if you've rented a car because of the narrow, winding roads.
We liked everything.

Best Location and 210 degree views of the sea and cliffs. Host's representatives S and F meet us and were accommodating with all aspects including local guidance and luggage assistance ( and kept checking in on us to by text to see how it was going). Parking is tricky but never an issue ( need a smallish car) but hosts have other arrangements as may be needed. All amenities and service available including water, coffee, oils etc to make things easy. Plus there is a beach chair and umbrella on the beach for personal dedicated us (less than 5 minutes comfortable walk)

It’s absolutely perfect. The location is amazing, the views to the sea and the city are breathtaking, it has very easy access to the beach. The house is way better than in pictures, the decorations are beautiful with a lot of attention to detail. The terrace is the best part. Very spaceous and has a shower to use after the beach. It also has a beautiful table to enjoy a meal with a view. Comfortable beds and very good air conditioning. The owner is one of the friendliest, nicest and helpful people we’ve ever met. He explained everything to us and even helped us when we forgot our purse at a near town. He gave us a very nice welcome and was available to help us all the time. Our stay couldn’t have been better. If we’re ever back in the Amalfi Coast we are definitely staying here again. The town is also very beautiful with great restaurants and a very nice beach! The boats to all of the towns in the Amalfi Coast are also cheap and very easily available.
Nothing was bad. It was perfect!

The apartment is simply amazing. Franco the host kindly waited us when we arrived with a delay, and provided information and leaflets of everything we needed to know of the house and nearby tourist attractions/boat trips. We even got three sunbeds at the nearby beach (California Beach) with free entry as part of the booking. The apartment had all facilities needed, and exceeded all our expectations. It is beautifully decorated with local ceramics, and has a splendid panoramic views of Vietri sul mare. You can get to all the nearby towns by boat (Cetara, Maiori, Minori, Amalfi and Positno) and even to the island of Capri there are direct boats. I can only recommend it, and we will definitely return.
All was perfect :)
