Monte Bagao is in a great location, very close to Sagres, Vila do Bispo and all the amazing beaches in the area. A car to get around is advisable (as for anyone visiting this area in order to explore). For those who prefer the peace and quiet while being close to nature, it’s a great option as it has no construction around and you can see the stars and enjoy the silence.

The rooms are spacious and offers all amenities. There is small open terrace for each room with a table and chairs. Our towels were refreshed very often and the room kept very clean. There is a refrigerator in the room, some shelves and hangers which was more than enough for a couple with surf boards for 13 nights. The common area is lovely with allocated drawers per room with all needed utensils. We always found it clean and with only a few guests using it at the same time. There is still a sense of privacy if you want to use the kitchen and dining area.

Casual, well provisioned apartment.

Difficult instructions to find accommodation. Bed was soft. No aircon. Water pressure was good but would sometimes be excessive without provocation.

Great owners, they were really making sure that we have everything that we need including Coffee and clean towels every 3 days. The place has a big garden, in the middle of nature, with a view of the ocean. In a perfect location, close to Lidl and 15 min to Sagres. Clean and quiet, great shared kitchen.

Pleasant nature for the pleasure of life

A super bed in which you want to sleep and hear only birds and nature around. A table outside is good for breakfast and everything is conveniently located in the kitchen, thanks for the coffee.

the appartement was oke the common space was very nice and all the stuff for cooking etc is available coffee and tea ‘from the house ‘ the staff is very nice

Remote location with fantastic view

Location was amazing! Views from the room across to Sagres fort and the Sea. Communal kitchen had everything you need. Bed super big and comfy for 2. perfect for exploring local hidden beaches by car.

Bathroom floods a tad when showering but this is a minor!

Perfect for some quiet days!

The location is awesome. Very quiet. Great for morning walks. The owner is very welcoming and treat us very well. The social kitchen is spacious and confortable.

Although we didn't meet our hosts personally, they did everything in order to facilitate check in and check out, inlusive very early check-in (way before official check-in time) and detailed information about the kitchen etc... Breakfast is not included, we nevertheless got coffee for free :). The hosts seem to be professional farmers and therefore might not always be able to welcome the guests ... in our case the day we arrived 3 baby cows were born, so logically they had more important things to care for ;).

It's really rural which in this case also means, that you have to use at least 2-3 kilometers on an earth road .... which is actually no problem even with small cars, because Algarve is almost always very dry, so no mud are water there.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable, but the place is ideal to go on hikes in the reserve, it’s clean and quiet.

Super comfy bed, nice kitchen and common area, very secluded location. Complete calmness in the evenings.

It would be nice if there was a surfboard rack or some designated space where to place surfboards and hang wetsuits. Also electric kettle was missing in the kitchen.

- Everything seems fairly new and modern

- Our room was “cleaned” once within 4 days, and the cleaning only involves throwing a blanket over the bed: even the trash wasn’t brought away, the floors weren’t cleaned and nothing else was done. - The shower and the sink were very clogged, the water wouldn’t go away There are other hotels in the area that are a nicer for the same price.

Quit Accommodation on the Countryside

- as it is in on the countryside it is a very quiet place to stay - parking lot at the location - the room is furnished purposeful and modern (we liked the light wooden ceiling) - own refrigerator in the room - comfortable bed - nice community kitchen and breakfast room (supermarkets are in the city)

- we would had need more storage space as we had 3 suitcases
