Only towls provided (which were dirty and smelly), no amenities

Big comfy room and very quiet location.
The keypad door entry system seemed to be a bit problematic. I think they need some type of backup incase you get locked outside in the middle of the the night.

There was no tea or coffee in my room

Schönes großes und helles Zimmer.
Unseres mit eigenem winzigen Bad.
Alles da was man braucht.

The location was perfect for the event we had come to attend and easy to find. Very close to Paul McCartney and John Lennon's childhood homes, and lovely parks. Also easy to drive into the city centre. It was good to have access to full kitchen facilities to prepare our own food.
There was a lot of noise coming from other rooms in the evenings, and a smell of smoke pervading the corridors presumably from someone smoking in their room. The bathroom was ridiculously small. It seems to be a guest house where there are long-term residents rather than tourists, but this was not clear from the listing. There was no staff on site to deal with any issues. We had (clean) water pouring into our room on the first night from an overflowing toilet upstairs. My husband stopped the water and we called the owner. He came about 1am to check the situation, and the following day promised a refund for the first night as it has been very disturbed. When I tried to follow this up directly with Booking.com I was told he had not said this and he offered 10% which I refused, saying I wanted the refund as agreed. I tried emailing the owner but I have had no response, nor anything further from Booking.com. Appalling customer service from both parties and I will never use either again.

Comfortabele kamer met veel gedeelde voorzieningen zoals een gevulde keuken. Schoon en rustig. Fijne locatie dichtbij de bus en de trein.
Sloten van de deuren gaan moeizaam open.

Last minute booking as other lodging fell through, quick and easy booking and got into our room straight away no hassle

Spacious rooms, good bathrooms upstairs if not ensuite and handy use of communal areas. Plenty of free parking nearby.
Being picky one bedroom I stayed in not 100% spotless and there was only 1 fork available in the kitchen, but I assume most of them had been stolen!

Room was great for a weekend, the bed was amazingly comfortable. Plenty of cupboard and clothes hanging space. I did appreciate being on the ground floor.
Room was great for a weekend, only drawback was having to go through the kitchen and into utility room for bathroom. But it wasn't a huge problem. Just at night when other folk haven't cleaned the kitchen floor after children have dropped crumbs all over it. The window in the room for air was so high up I couldn't close it,but it thankfully was warm. The blinds could be a little better for full privacy. But for the great spot for travel it was worth it for the price.

Nice clean property. Rooms are basic but we just needed somewhere to sleep as we were there to sight see. Shared bathroom, it was very clean and we got to use it as and when needed. The guesthouse is situated in a nice quiet area and if your travelling into Liverpool by car it's a great base camp and very affordable.
We chose this guesthouse as we booked last minute and the room was cheap. However if your travelling into Liverpool for a drink, taxis can cost you up to £15. However if you are driving this is a perfect location.

Spacious room with en suite bath. Availability of shared kitchen and laundry facilities with tea, coffee, and laundry soap provided.
There is no normal height table in the room. Loose toilet seat not noticed before our arrival.

Pretty good localization, no problem with parking.
The hotel enlists 'soundproofing' as one of its features. Doors to an apartment look like they are 20 years, there is no seal on them, and you literally hear everything that is happening in the corridor. For a 70 pounds per day hotel it should be done better, had to sleep in earplugs.

Great location, Great value, Very Clean, Room size was generous. The code entrance and room code worked great. Very nice to have access to a shared kitchen.
A bit "retro" in style, not that it detracted from the visit!

No breakfast but there was a clean well equipped communal kitchen.
First time in Liverpool - a great place to visit, lots to see and do and eat out.
There was a strong smell of damp as soon as you walked through the door. Our ground floor bedroom smelt damp and we had to have the window open as wide as we could the whole stay which meant it was also noisy from traffic. There was a dehumidifier and air fresheners in the room.
It was the one thing that let it down.

Perfect location, easy to get to city centre. Beautiful large room, very clean and quiet. Very relaxing. Perfect
Wasn't sure how to contact the property owners if there was an issue but only a minor problem!

Good location, room was big and clean. Bed was comfortable, and bedlinen with towels included in the price. In shared bathroom also clean. Shared kitchen equiped with all neccessary things.
Additional bed.
Late checkout possible!
Door code do not works, but after call, owner reset it and was Ok. It is old building so you can hear sometimes stairs or doors opening - for me not a problem.

Small hand basin. Poor value for money relative to others and bearing in mind standard in general.
