This place is AMAZING. It was cold in the night during our stay and the lady from reception prepared hot water bottles for each of us. The hot spring water in the pools was so soothing with the mountain view right in front that kills the exhaustion immediately. Like other reviews said, we wish we could've spent one more day. BTW, their icecream and crepe as dessert waas delicious!

The location is amazing, inside the canyon, right in front of the river. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the restaurant is excellent with reasonable prices. The thermal pools are great, it wasn't so busy so my kids and I were able to spend hours swimming and relaxing in the water.

Location, lovely setting and very peaceful
Rooms and facilities extremely old and tired. Nothing like a 4* hotel. General ambience reminded us more of the trekking lodges we had previously been staying in for 50 soles / night, combined with the atmosphere from the hotel in The Shining. No heating, charged for drinking water. Everything cracked, broken and run down. ‘Suites’ are in fact just rooms with a plastic jacuzzi bath in a dank and dark bathroom. The most expensive hotel of our trip and by far the worst. Staff try but not well trained. Breakfast also worst of our entire trip.

It is truly a beautiful refuge. Being tucked away from the rest of Chivay while also being just a few minutes from the plaza was fantastic.
Rooms could be a bit cleaner.

Set near a river, this is an amazingly tranquil spot. The hotel has 4 hot soaking pools which are terrific. The restaurant is very good, and the property is a wonderful place for bird-watching. 50 minute drive to Mirador Cruz de los Condores so you can grab and early breakfast and get an early start. Highly recommended. I wish we had been able to stay longer.

The location is beautiful although a bit remote. Really nice nature scenery.
The rooms were quite cold, and even with the ovens in the rooms it only become lukewarm. The floor is freezing, so bring slippers. The hotel does not provide any.
Also, the hot springs are not sufficiently hot to really compensate for the cold air, so I never really felt

Location, nature, hotel distribution
The service attention in dinner and bar, needs to be improved.

AMAZING!!!! Totally worth it, you get your private pond to swim, the views are stunning, the rooms were great! I even had jacuzzi inside my room with view to the river! They even give you a warm bottle of water to warm you up at night, staff was really nice. I stayed one night but I could have totally spent 2!

The service was excellent. We had a staff member come out to make sure we were on the right trail. They gave us hot water bottles to warm up our bed at night.
The views, staff and service.

Location, location, location. Perfectly located. Has its own thermal baths. Just walking to the dining area was a pleasant experience due to the gorgeous landscape surrounding the facilities. It was our 30 year anniversary and the hotel had decorated our room with flowers. They welcomed us with 'congratulations for tour anniversary', which made my wife happy. At dinner time, they had a table set for us, beautifully decorated, next to the fireplace. It was all arranged very nicely, from the room to the dinner table. Thank you so much.
Gaps around window frames could use some caulking.

What an incredible view! The waterfall behind the hotel provides a lovely background of flowing water and the view through the canyon is just stunning. I was unfortunately very sick during our stay, but could see that the staff were genuinely concerned for my well-being and did everything they could to ensure I had what I needed and was comfortable. Very grateful to them for taking such good care of me!
