The listing is accurate for the most part- location is great. Apartment looks how the listing shows as far as layout… the apartment needed a deep deep clean and the lobby and back elevator/entrance smelled like trash our entire stay.
3.0 / 5.0
Location was great but the apartment not so much. There could be a better TV in the living room. It was an old "smart tv" so not very smart. We would get hot water for a short period of time and then it would be luke warm. The bath towels were not very good.
4.0 / 5.0
The location was great, right in the heart of Harbor East. But the furnishings were very basic. For example, there was no water pitcher in the kitchen. Furthermore, both beds were pull-out sofa beds, so I have to give a downgrade on this. The larger King bed should be a "real" bed with a real mattress.

Loved the location. Newer location with some nice shops and bars/restaurants. Safe walk to Fells Point during the day. Other people complained of beds/bedding but we thought they were fine.
Apt had been cleaned well beforehand.
There was some damage in walls going up the stairs that had been repaired but needed to be touched up. Nothing major. Just would’ve looked nicer.
Overall
A really comfortable stay!!

This was a very safe and accessible location to lots of shopping and restaurants!! Overall the apartment was nice and spacious, and loved having 2.5 baths. The only real issue we all had were the beds were uncomfortable, we all had sore backs after sleeping in them for a few days. Otherwise our stay was nice!

Spinnaker Apartments turned out to be the perfect place for me, my husband and our adult daughter for a destination wedding. The apartment was like a townhouse so bedrooms were upstairs which for an early riser like me and our dog, we could do our morning routines without waking the entire house. Beds were comfortable and having a bathroom with each bedroom was ideal. Being located right in the inner harbor allowed us to see Baltimore and some of the very walkable areas even though we had a busy wedding weekend to attend. My daughter and I even rented an electric scooter and that was really fun! We had our little dog with us and although she is a country dog, she adjusted to apartment life and I found grassy places nearby where she could do her business (which was really important to us and to her). My morning coffee was nearby and we spent some time in the unique and fun neighborhood of Fells Point. The Pelican Residences staff were a dream to work with and I felt confident that this apartment would be true to the description based on my experience with the staff, and it was!

Such a wonderful place to stay!!! Clean, great management and communication, perfect location! I’ve got some back and neck issues so I’d recommend bringing your own pillow if you’re picky like I am, but I think that’s just personal preference. I would definitely stay here again!

We chose this listing so we could easily access Fells Point and Inner Harbor. This unit is in Harbor East. Check in/out was easy. If you are parking in the garage I recommend parking on the level your unit is located. Plenty of room in the unit. Bed in master was comfortable. After check out I made the PM aware of some minor maintenance items to follow up on and they were responsive. The carpets were shampooed prior to arrival and had not dried yet but it was evident they went above & beyond with cleaning.
Many places of interest are within walking distance. Some nicer chain restaurants in immediate vicinity but I recommend skipping Oceanaire and making a reservation at Thames St Oyster House in Fells Point. Half the price and 10x’s better. Easily on my list of top 10 meals. Check out Todd Conners for casual pub fair (owner Christian was awesome), Dalisios in Little Italy and LP Steamers in Locust Point is great for steamed seafood and table top crack your own crabs (it’s on the way to Ft. McHenry). For take out (or eat in) breakfast go around the block to Harbor East Deli. Skip the restaurants in the hotels nearby, overpriced and underwhelming. The visitors center staff is helpful with maps and suggestions.
We will def be returning to this unit in the future!

Walking distance to shopping, entertainment including the aquarium, and fitness. The apartment is very secure which was high on our list of expectations. We didn’t need a car, and ‘Ubered’ where we needed to go that was not in walking distance. The apartment is clean and bright with just enough kitchen amenities for the week. Thank goodness for Wholefood market that is around the corner.

My husband and I had a great stay while in town for a football game at M&T Bank stadium. Walking distance to great restaurants and shops and the weather was so beautiful we even walked the 40 mins to and from the stadium. Highly recommend this property!

very good. you all are very attentive to my getting there and getting checked in.
just so you know, there was a light knocking sound in the upstairs smaller bedroom bathroom (ceiling vent) when the heat was running. I do not think this was serious, just wanted to let you know.
a coat hook rack at the front door would be great.

Baltimore inner harbor
This was a very nice, roomy, two level apartment in an upscale building located between the Baltimore Inner Harbor and Fell’s Point. It was an easy walk into both areas. There are plenty of nice shops and restaurants nearby. The garage parking was very convenient. Check in and out processes were easy. Communication with the managers was timely and reliable. We would look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Baltimore.

Great spot.
This unit is very nice and great for a family or two couples. The bedrooms are upstairs and the building has great services. I especially like that you check in with the door person.
The tv is only has a Netflix connection, so bring you own computer and hookups or your passwords for Hulu, etc...
The location is perfect and there is a beautiful roofdeck on the 8th floor.

Air conditioning broke - didn’t fix until next day
The air conditioning broke on Saturday and when we alerted the management company they said it would not be fixed until the next day as they didn’t consider it an emergency. The outside temp was over 95 and they were on the 6th floor of the building. We were there for a lax tournament- we could barely sleep as the temps rose to over 80 plus degrees in the apartment. We requested fans and were told that there were none. We were also told that there was no option to move apts. horrible experience.

Excellent experience
The property is beautiful and spacious. It has 2 levels and felt like a home. The communication leading up to check was excellent and timely. We highly rate this unit and would stay here again.

I want to be positive BUT...
The neighborhood was great. The building lobby was nice, staff was fantastic and the check in and out process was seamless. BUT the apartment had clearly not been inspected prior to our arrival as it was not cleaned, the toilet seat was broken, I mean missing a whole piece of the seat! A piece of the oven vent was sitting on top of the stove. A shower head was sitting on the window sill. I mean it was very unexpected to see a vrbo in this shape. The property management sent someone to fix the toilet (and nothing more), BUT the damage had been done.

Good location in Fells point
Clean spacious and comfortable. Garage parking was very convenient. The kitchen was under stocked, could use more cooking equipment. (There was no large pot, mix bowls or serving dishes or utensils)

Great Weekend
Arrival process very quick. Apartment was very clean upon arrival. The unit is in a very quiet building. Nice location from the Inner Harbor you can walk to most everything. We were there to attend an event at the convention center which was a 15-20 min walk. The parking garage with a reasonable daily fee was a plus.
Communication with the host was easy with quick response times. We would definately stay here again.

Good location
The property was in a good locaiton on the harbor, easy walking distance to harbor, restaurants, shops. Check in/Check out was easy. It should be noted that unless you bring your roku/fire stick or can mirror your cell phone screen with your streamning apps, you will NOT get live TV in this unit.

Great location, walk to everything!
This apartment was very comfortable (we loved the beds, and having two master suites) and couldn't be better located. We walked to almost everything, including Little Italy, Fells Point, the National Aquarium, and the Inner Harbor area. The bedrooms are upstairs, so be prepared to haul your suitcases up a flight of carpeted steps.

Great Family Stay
My husband and I, as well as my 4 year old were very comfortable in this property. Great location, in walking distance to many family activities. We were also very happy to have had the optional paid parking. Highly recommend.

Not clean
This neighborhood is great and we have stayed there before, but unfortunately this apartment was not properly cleaned. The main issue, I don’t know when the floors were last mopped but our feet were black from walking around in there and if you wiped a paper towel on the floor it showed it hadn’t been mopped anytime recently as It was very filthy. I could certainly complain about the furniture but it would have been fine if the place was clean.

Great inner harbor location
The apartment was located in a nice urban neighborhood along the inner harbor. We were able to walk to nice restaurants, a grocery store, and even to the aquarium. We enjoyed the buildings fitness center and rooftop pool.

Good location, nice building
We had a few hiccups as the concierge was not at the desk when we arrived despite giving arrival time. Had to wait 20 min for someone to show up and when we entered the apartment it hadn't been cleaned. The cleaning crew saw us and followed us into the apartment and gave it an ok spruce up. Due to its downtown location the street noise was loud until late at night so if you aren't used to that be sure to bring a sound machine! The information from the company was timely and clear instructions. The building was safe, the pool and rooftop terrace are nice and the set up of the condo and was good for families or couples. I would consider staying here again despite the hiccups we experienced.

A great place to stay
My coworker and I rented this great unit for the week while in town conducting training. We have been to Baltimore before for the same purpose but stayed elsewhere. We were extremely happy that we chose to stay here this time, and legitimately every time we are back in town in the future, we will seek to stay here. Location was perfect and felt very convenient and safe. Building itself was very quiet, and we very much appreciated the private parking garage access and access to the gym ... since, well, there is a dang Häagen-Dazs ice cream shop literally across the street. Ahem.
The only complaint we have (which has nothing to do whatsoever with the unit itself) is that there is a fair amount of street noise that occurred into the evening and late night hours on several of the nights. I am accustomed to staying in places/areas such as this in busy cities where this type of thing is the norm, so I always come equipped with ear plugs just in case. I ended up using them on a couple of the nights of our 5 night stay.
Last but certainly not least, I was delighted by the responsiveness of Pelican Residences (owners and operators of this apartment). Customer service from them was truly first-rate. I see that they have properties elsewhere in the country, and I will absolutely seek out another of their properties if I find myself in an area where they have an offering.
