We stayed in a 4 bedroom unit for a long weekend. The living area was a bit small to all hang out in but the rooftop area was nice. Location was decent with access to public transit fairly close. All in all it was a decent place to stay if you don't plan on spending a lot of time in the apartment.

Nice place location was good in the middle of alot of things to do

The neighborhood was a little rough. There was a couple spots where it was a little scary walking with my kids and grandkid.

Wonderful, clean facility for 8 of us to stay for a moms/Daughters girls' weekend. We were able to get around the city and see all of the sites and enjoyed our time.
We had read from another review that there was a corner near the Plymouth building that had some sketchy individual hanging out in front in the evenings. We did notice this (it is outside the 7/11) and just avoided walking by that corner. However, on our final night we returned after dinner and there was a group of people (8-10) now outside our building and sitting on the stoop near where we needed to get to in order to enter the code to get into the building. Once we got inside, we made the decision then to not go back out for the evening and just stay and enjoy the rooftop area. There is a security guy that would be in the lobby area in the evening, but he wasn't there yet. We saw him later at the rooftop area and he apologized and told us that he saw them out there and asked them to move but that he is only responsible for things inside of the building.

I called Sonder and they do not believe me that we had bed bugs, I sent them photos. The dishwasher started flooding water on the floor and we put a towel in front of it to stop the water and turned off the water under the sink. Sonder sent someone to the room after we left who reported that it never happened.
I just feel bad for the next person who stays there and gets bit by the bugs and can’t wash their dishes. No one was on site to call as it is a big corporation so I had to report it by sending an email on Sunday and wait for business hours for them to return. They never responded so I had to call the office on Monday when I spoke to someone who said it never happened. Don’t stay here.

Had our team of four in for a convention at the McCormick Place and it worked out really well.

Perfect for 8 gals in town for concert. It was clean, with an adequate # of beds/bathroom (we spent little time in the apartment). Critique: the two bathrooms in the bedrooms, the doors didn’t open more than 1.5ft—the door hit the bed. It was fine, we were all mobile. Minor issue with access codes, but the property manager was very quick to respond. Would stay again.

Great place. A+

The location was perfect. We chose the 4-bedroom apartment because we had 4 adult couples. Two bedrooms were quite small and you were unable to open the bathroom door all the way because it would hit the bed.
The living room/kitchen was a fine size, but did not have enough seating for the number of people. The apartment is advertised for 8 people, but there was only seating for about 5 people. We had to sit on the floor or stand when we were all gathered together in the living room. We could not all sit at the table at the same time, so, forget having a meal together.
The rooftop lounge was fantastic. That space made our small apartment doable. It is a lovely gathering area.

Hi this property was perfect for our needs. Just one negative note, we moved the couch a bit and there were tons of crumbs and cereal under it. Just a note to sometimes sweep under there as well. WE really appreciated the luggage room - that was extremely helpful for our itinerary. And we really appreciated the extra blanket as it was a cold weekend during our stay.

It was great, location wise got to really enjoy city of Chicago for first time and explore area try new foods Ubers were not too far or pricy for most things and the Lyft cycles were convenient
4.5
Property was great, we were in Chicago for work and enjoyed our stay. Will definitely use them again.

We were attending a conference at McCormick and the location was great.

Honestly the best deal in Chicago if you need 4 bedrooms. South loop location is super close to the El, good coffee shop right next door, Brando's speakeasy just a 1 or 2 minute walk away. There is a somewhat sketchy hangout on the corner near the rental, but we were never bothered. Would stay again 10/10.

Overall fine, not as spacious as pictured and a little worn down but convenient.

This place has a lot of quirks but was the only option I could find in the city with four bedrooms.
The living space is very small (kitchen and living room in about 400 sq ft), the heat was funky and kept shutting off (although the management company was very helpful and provided space heaters as needed), and the wall between the living space and two of the bedrooms does not go to the ceiling. The beds in those two rooms also prevent the en-suite bathroom doors from closing so that could be very awkward depending on who is staying with you.
The kitchen is not well stocked, only has basics.
4.5
Overall very nice place however, the two bedrooms that have bathrooms attached the doors to the bathroom don’t close. The bedroom door closes, but the bathroom doors don’t. One doesn’t close because the bed is in the way and the other won’t latch shut. The heater in one of the other bedrooms wasn’t working. Other than that it was nice and the beds were very comfortable.

This place was in a relatively central location. However, there were definitely questionable people hanging out near the train station and prison, so we didn't feel safe at certain times.
Check-in is a bit annoying. You have to enter two codes to get in the front door and then a separate code to get into your room. so have fun memorizing three codes or having to pull out your phone every time you come back to the unit.
The unit itself is modern and somewhat comparable to the pictures that you see in the listing.
Unfortunately, this place was quite filthy and needs a major deep cleaning. It was a four bedroom three bath unit and there were definitely lots of spots and dirt all over the wall. Some of them made sense from suitcases, but there were some other brown and red questionable smudges, which were overly disgusting. The bathrooms were overall clean with the exception of the showers. There was major mold, all throughout the bottom of the showers.
One of the bedrooms had a broken closet, and three of the four bedrooms had lamps that either had fallen off the wall or were about to fall off the wall with screws half ganging out. I was definitely a bit of a safety concern with small children in the unit.
Two of four bedrooms have access to a bathroom however, the door does not fully open and bumps into the bed, you have to go around it's annoying.
there is no room with the couch and table. We moved the couch against windows and put table parallel so we could fit 8 people.

Great location and like how easy it was to access the lakefront and all the great things Chicago has to offer.
The place could use a good deep cleaning. Access was easy and appreciated being able to store luggage.
4.5
It was great location, good neighborhood and you can go walking to Millenium park.
4.5
The appartment is very spacious and was perfect for 3 couples. The location is great to visit Chicago but there is a park nearby with a lot of homeless people which makes the neighborhood a bit scary when the night comes.

My team and I stayed for lollapalooza and it was absolutely perfect for us! We would definitely book again, thank you so much for having us!
4.5
I believe that this is a good stay for teenagers who want to go to lollapolloza. The only issue is you don’t check in with a person it is some robot and gets confusing sometimes

When we tried to check in we had been given a wrong code, once we called up though we were given the correct one quickly so that was fine. After a couple of days we noticed my daughter had bites on her so went to check her bed and found bed bugs and blood splatter. We notifified Sonder who asked for pictures which we sent. They then said they didn’t have any equivalent places to move us to so I made the decision to go stay in a hotel as im not staying somewhere with bed bugs. Since then their correspondence has been terrible, trying to claim there is nothing wrong and not agreeing to a refund. The bugs will not leave after a clean so I worry for the next person who books the place

The rooms were clean. The actual living area kitchen was small. Not enough seating for 6 adults.
There were no instructions for trash, nor how to operate Roku and DirecTv. We never got the DirecTv to work.
The neighborhood is sketchy. We road the CTA wherever we went and the people hanging out at the train entrance were somewhat scary. The police got involved with one incident. After that we paid for Uber or Lyft if it was after 5 when we came back.
We got locked out because of battery failure of the door lock, it took around 20 minutes to get someone there to change the batteries. It probably wouldn’t have been so long if the gentleman on the phone had listened that it was the batteries and not the way we entered the code.
But the apartment itself was clean and more than adequate for our stay. We enjoyed the roof but the hours are from 11 to 9. I think the hours should be longer.

Accommodations were suitable to keep one octogenarian, one septuagenarian, two Gen Xers, and 2 millennials together on a graduation trip. Everyone got a room (2 shared) with 2 of 4 bedrooms en suite. The living room was tiny and the kitchen was functional for a light breakfast only even though it was fully stocked with a full size fridge and stove. Elevator level needs to be fixed as it was not level with the floor and our guests tripped several times. The kitchen lacked hot water. Showers were perfect. Entry system broke during outlet stay thus rendering building entry impossible. The chat function helped us access the building. The area north of the building to the back was super sketchy - avoid it.
4.5
The condo was clean and quite small. The online photos made it appear bigger but many are photos of common areas. Two bedrooms have incomplete walls making it difficult for those who want to hang out while others sleep. We attempted to use the common areas such as the beautiful rooftop area- but it closes at 9 PM!!! So completely unuseful for use while some members of our group went to sleep. This condo just didn't work well for us. The location is great and convenient to the transportation and restaurants.
4.5
The location was perfect for family to gather for daughter’s graduation from Columbia College Chicago. It was nice not to have to go out for every meal, too.
4.5
The location of this apartment is very convenient for public transportation and walking in the Loop. We really like having 4 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. A luxury for 4 women. Definitely check out the roof top deck with chairs/tables.
Our issue was the cleanliness. I’m not a clean freak but the place could use a good mopping and dusting. We open a drawer and there was a pair of old tennis shoes. Weird!
The concept of the door locks is great. You get codes to the main building and your apartment. Our lock just didn’t work well. You really had to pull door in for lock to engage.
We would definitely consider staying here again.
4.5
The location was a good middle point to the various neighborhoods. The unit did smell of smoke and at various times the lobby had a strong pot smell.
4.5
5 stars for Great location in the city, close to lots of restaurants and shopping. 3 stars because We asked for early check in, but never got a response. The 2nd day my husband got a cold shower. There was a hot water issue. They said it was resolved, but the kitchen faucet never got hot as well as 2 of the 3 showers. The bathroom door in the 1 bedroom doesn’t close which was awkward with a house full of people. The beds and towels were clean, but the floors were dirty.
4.5
I loved the 3 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. Everything seemed updated. Easy to get in. Chatted with customer service a couple times and got immediate response. The only issues were the temperature. The unit hovered around 72 degrees with no a/c option. (They said the whole building is set at one or the other depending on outside temp. It is March but on the 7th floor it would be nice to choose if I wanted heat or air. The other issue was the linens on my bed felt (and sounded) like I was sleeping with paper sheets. Very stiff. The rooftop was fun though with indoor and outdoor options.
4.5
Clean and centrally located.
4.5
This property was clean and in a convenient location. There is no on-site staff, so all customer service needs are addressed through the app or via text or phone. Make sure to note that the listing says the bedrooms don't have walls that go all the way to the ceiling which is important in case sound or light is a concern. Self-service luggage storage room was helpful. Having a kitchen in the apartment was great. We asked for a pack-and-play crib via the app ahead of time and it wasn't there when we checked in so we had to wait until the following day to receive it.
4.5
On the day of my stay, 3 hours before my check in,I was texted that there was flooding in the basement so they had to cancel. They offered me to stay at another property but would not adjust the price to the price I was originally paying for the flooded property. They also refunded my money and deposit which will take at least 3 days ( still don't have it yet). This was so inconvenient. They should have just kept the money and gave me the codes to their other property. This was a horrible experience. I was out of town with a baby and teenage girls trying to find a safe space to lay our heads after an 8 hr car drive.
This owner ruined me for vrbo
4.5
Very clean and easy to check in & get around.

The room was clean and updated. The location close to the “L”, on the south side of the loop. One problem was the small living/dining area. There was a single couch facing a TV on the wall, with a kitchen table backed up to the couch, with only 2 dining chairs. This is a 4 BR unit. There will at least be 4 people staying there, up to 8. We had 6, and people had to stand to eat at the table.
The building is a little shady, in the process of renovations. Hopefully that will continue to get better in time. The TV in the community game room did not have DirectTV service like the rooms, so we couldn’t turn on the NFL playoff game while hanging out in there. Couldn’t beat the price though, so we made it all work.
4.5
Overall quite nice. The layout was a bit odd, two of the bedrooms were half-open to the living room, as in there was no wall above the doors. Otherwise a nice place to stay for a few days.
4.5
This was a really easy process and affordable stay. Will book with Sonder again!
