This house is amazing. It is big enough 10 of us could roam around inside and not bother anyone. Yet it was close enough we could have fun together. And the screened in deck was a great way to relax. It could not have been any better for my group of lady friends. Thank you

We celebrated Thanksgiving with 3 generations of family at this home. It was just as the pictures showed, clean and had everything we could ever need (even crock pots!) to cook and enjoy time together!!We all had a wonderful time and had lots of space to spread out.

The house is beautiful! Loved how they had it decorated for fall. The bedrooms were nice and there was plenty of room for our family trip consistiing of 12 adults. The only thing that would have made it better was if there were a second refrigerator in the basement because we brought our food to cook for the 4 nights we were there and could have used an extra fridge. We spent alot of our time on the screened in deck and it was beautiful with the view. Would definitely recommend this place !

Perfect Weekend Getaway
Had a fantastic quiet and relaxing weekend for our family before my Daughter goes off to College. House was very clean and completely stocked with everything you need. Rented boat on Dale Hollow lake only 20 minutes away .

Perfect Location
The house was beautiful and perfect for a indoor and outdoor activities. The screened in porch was a nice benefit as it did rain a couple days that we were there. We were a mile from the marina, 20 minutes from the state park and waterfall. We will definitely be returning to Lake Cumberland and will try to stay at this house.

This was a repeat stay at this property. It never disappoints! Perfect in size for large groups! We love the back enclosed deck. It’s so peaceful here and close to Grider Hill Marina. We were able to rent a slip and keep the boat there. It just makes it so much easier than loading and unloading the boat constantly. We love this house and the location!!!

Wonderful spacious home but just like previous reviews - and because of that we knew going in there was not a lake view- but to be clear-there is not at all. Maybe a sliver in the dead of winter.
The TV is WiFi capable for use of Netflix and had the app. They just need to hook up- or guests can being their own ethernet- so they can watch their library. Internet works very well as long as too many people are not trying at once.
This home should have a four rating and not a three: the drive to the garbage is 1 MILE EACH WAY. The smell in the back of our car was most unpleasant. I saw the garbage truck on our last day and thought well they could get service if they wanted to.
My husband spent 30 minutes mopping the covered porch since the cleaning people don’t clean it. And the outdoor refrigerator. They were BLACK. But it was worth it sitting out there is very peaceful.

The house was very clean and well stocked with everything you could want. The screened-in porch was very relaxing with the BBQ grill right there. There were plenty of seating areas and having 5 bedrooms was great. My family enjoyed this home very much.

Great house minutes from Lake Cumberland
This house is extremely comfortable and spacious for a large family gathering. Comfortable beds with nice linens,large eat in kitchen with all essential items. Fantastic large screened porch the enjoy the mornings and evenings. Clean,well stocked with towels,detergents etc. Love having a washer and dryer! We had 13 family members that all fit in the 5 bedrooms in addition to a pull out. Teenager on one couch. The air mattress was missing the pump so we weren't able to use it. The wifi worked when we arrived for several days,but did go out after that and never came back. I could have called as the owner is receptive,but felt we could rough it using phone hotspots! This is a fantastic house for a family vacation! Thanks for having us once again! It was our second stay! Hope to be back!

It was a lovely home. You can tell the owners love their home. We enjoyed our stay. Location was nice as it was close to the marina and 76 falls. Would stay there again.

Hiccups but good
There were a few hiccups along the way. We never got the detail email for check in (I sent a note via vrbo a week before and a day before with no response). I called On the way down and got it a couple hours before we arrived and jack was very Apologetic. Once we arrived (1 1/2 after check in time) the house was still being cleaned, so we had to find something to do for 45min (again everyone was very apologetic).
The location was perfect in reference to the marina, but there isn’t a lake view from this house.
We didn’t get the WiFi log in until after 9p (check in was 3p).
The floors turned our feet black and we ended up moping and sweeping. The floors in the basement were pretty messy (dust, crumbs, marbles, etc - we had toddlers with us who found everything). We had to hunt for towels for the bathrooms, there were plenty once we found them!
It was spacious and we had plenty of room for 12 people! The kitchen had tons of dishes, spices, etc so we were all set there!
We loved the screened in porch and the layout. We had a ton of fun despite the beginning hiccups!

We really enjoyed our stay here. House is roomy, close to marina. My family really enjoyed our stay at the lake. We had 8 adults and 3 toddlers and fun was had by all. The screened in back porch was the selling point and it paid off!!

Great size home for our group. Perfect location to get to the marina as we went for boating everyday.
Kitchen is very well stocked with more than you could ever imagine(plastic bags, aluminum foil, seasonings, you name it). The only things we noticed was no scissors or grilling utensils. Also if you plan to use the provided air mattress be sure to bring a pump. There’s tons of extra bedding everywhere. We all loved the screened in back porch it was a great place to sit and sip on our morning drinks and wonderful to wind down in the evening.
We lost power our last night due to a bad storm but were thankful for all the provided flashlights and lantern. Packing in the dark sucked and we weren’t able to clean the dishes with no power unfortunately. Felt really bad but no power no hot water etc.

Convenient for boaters!
What a lovely home for a comfy stay close to the boat dock. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances, gadgets, supplies, and extras to help with meal prep, serving, and storing food. Two full size refrigerators available and even a small one for drinks on the screened in porch. The beds are comfy and the showers refreshing after a day of boating. Well stocked with linens and towels. Laundry facility made it easy to keep up with wet beach towels. There were 12 of us staying there and we never felt crowded or cramped. Landlord was quick to answer all questions and address all issues. Thanks for the ease in making fun memories!

Beautiful family home on Lake Cumberland
The house was just what our family needed! Spacious,plenty of bedrooms and baths. Comfortable beds,great kitchen with every utensil,pots,etc you need, large gas grill. Then there was the back screened patio when I spent most of my time except when I was on the boat! Didn’t care there really isn’t a lake view,it was just heaven to me! The house was clean,plenty of towels,and the washer and dryer was very helpful so I didn’t have to wash for days when I got home! Also a huge plus for us is the close proximity to Grider Hill when we docked our boat for the week. Gary’s Goodies also right down the road for fresh veggies everyday! We think this end of the lake is the best! I’m sure we will be returning next year! The only small complaint I have was there was no WIFI.
