This location is more like a hotel, the only difference is checking and entry by yourself. Room is super clean and cozy, we love it very much!!!

The Creekstone has been through a significant remodel. The room was lovely, the bed comfortable and the place was very clean. Quiet location. No staff on site. I was contacted the morning of the reservation with check in instructions which were very easy to follow.
Only negative is the soundproofing of the room. When people were in the hallway you could hear every word being said from inside the room.

Excellent modern design. Comfortable setting.
No way to speak with any staff. Needed more towels but no way to get them with no staff on site.

I loved the decor of the entire property, including our room. I liked using the access code method vs. Card or key. Housekeeping was friendly and helpful. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Loved the fireplace in our room. Will definitely stay there again! Would definitely refer friends/family to you.
A larger shuffleboard table!

beautiful property and location
no place to get extra towels. no staff on site.

More modern than I was expecting. The room was big. Can’t wait to see the rest of the renovations planned. Sitting out on the porch, wish we knew how to light the fire pits.
Room didn’t have a view although we loved the room. More towel bar/hooks to hang towels to dry. That the fireplace turned off when it reached the temperature set at.

Room and location (walking distance to the village) were great. Excellent views and comfortable, newly renovated room. Natural soaps smelled great (I’m allergic to anything artificial). Decor was attractive, electric fireplace was fun (and functional) and technology was up to date. Large space downstairs for eating (no restaurant or food onsite), with a microwave. Free cold brew and kombucha. Lots of seating inside and out to just relax outside your room.
Booking.com says there is spa access or facilities onsite and there are none. When I wrote to the hotel they recommended a mobile massage service. When I booked that service I was told by the hotel that there was room in my room for this. I was then told by the massage therapist that she had contacted the hotel and there was not room. Also I didn’t realize the hotel did not have any staff onsite, like a fairly expensive Airbnb. We didn’t find out until we received a text the morning of our arrival saying we should have received our access codes (we had not). Getting accurate information wasn’t easy by email. The booking also said there was a garden and mountain view. There is no garden currently onsite and it seems like the grounds aren’t completely finished (which wasn’t noted in the hotel description). The stay itself once we arrived was wonderful, and we had a great time. I’m not sure, however, given the communication issues prior to arrival, how responsive they would have been if we had any requests or issues after checking in.

It’s was very quiet, the bed was heaven, and the decor was fun. There were little details added that enhanced the stay. Best sleep ever!
The room could use a fan to circulate the air.

quiet and comfortable
no front desk.. nobody around to talk to? ask questions through the phone.. a little strange and not welcoming

Absolutely loved the mountain chic decor - so tasteful, fun, and well thought out.
The beds were too soft for my liking. Some sort of human contact would have been nice - all keyless, no front desk—we never saw a staff person so it felt a little impersonal.

the location, shuffleboard, games, and the cleanliness.

The property had been newly renovated. It was charming chic, extremely clean and well appointed. The manager was extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. We highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again.
Really, everything was excellent.

Clean! Private. Easy access to everything internal and within the town. Good communication and attentiveness with staff.
No windows opening to the fresh outside air.

The hotel is located in a perfect area from which you can make beautiful hikes and plenty of parking available. The hotel is recently renovated and looks very up to date, compared to my San Diego hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and in for a nice chat. I definitely try to come back again.
Everything was very nice. They were still improving their service, so I hope they will also serve breakfast in the future. And it's a pity they didn't think of European shower cranes when renovating the showers. But this is all minor things.

It was pretty much a perfect spot to enjoy Idyllwild. Centrally located and beautifully designed.
Wish there was a door on the shower.
Next time we will have to make sure the whole room is pretty warm so we don’t freeze.
But everything else was so nice, it made up for being cold and forced us to cuddle to stay warm.
Also, a bar either in the room or on premises would be a nice option since the town closes pretty early.

Everything.
Can’t think of anything.

It was clean and cozy. The staff kept in touch through text which was great.
The gas fireplace was too loud when turning back on it would make really loud popping noise.

Cleanest bathroom ever. Comfy bed and adorable decor. Contactless entry. Wonderful common area and free kombucha! Even games available downstairs.
3.5
The bed was very comfortable and the room nicely furnished.
There was noise from the adjacent rooms, with TV noise late into the night/early morning and noise from the bathroom.
The heaters goin off and on between the heater and the fireplace was somewhat annoying and hard to synchronize.

Beautiful Mountain view’s
The interior of the place was well designed and the decorating was impressive .

Clean, cute decor, quiet, very friendly staff, games, extremely comfortable bed & bedding (minus the flat pillows). Felt very welcomed.
Initially inattentive staff: It was hard to communicate through the Ring speaker when checking in (and it took quite a while for the hotel attendants to let me know that someone was there/for them to come out and open the door after communication failed and I was left waiting, wondering, and desperately needing a restroom. (I did arrive early, so that might've been part of the problem). I don't remember seeing any directions for checking-out, or light-switch controls. The AC hardly worked, windows didn't open (safety hazard), no pantry containing extra towels or blankets, no drinking water, no snacks, half-shower door gave way for a very wet floor (and again, no extra towels).

Took a long time to have water heat up for shower

Nathan, Raven, and staff went out of their way to make my husband and I feel right at home! We were there for our wedding anniversary which happened to be on Thanksgiving Day and booked the room a few days in advance. The rooms are very clean, large/roomy, with all new decor, a larger-sized mini-fridge in the room, a beautiful modern electric fireplace, and a wonderful view of the mountains. They moved us from originally booked room 206 (also very lovely room with a view of their back lot/upper patio) to room 202 just to make sure we had the best room/view in the place! The lodge itself has a very comfortable 'hipster' feel downstairs too with games, more fireplaces, and plenty of room to sit/lounge. I understand they will be opening an onsite restaurant too, probably sometime in 2022, which would be amazing! Can't say enough about the professionalism, attentiveness, and friendliness of the staff, the expansive comfort of the room, the ease of check-in, and the loveliness of the setting! Thank you!
It would be great if the price was a little less but understand around the holidays and for the amenities, it was worthwhile. Also some people might be turned off by no children or pet policy, and there is a policies manual you need to read through/accept prior to arrival, but that's just to make sure to set expectations and keep their property looking its best.

Clean, new & the colors. free kombucha & brew on tap. also, the older gentleman who has a shop just across the street. my son liked him. we bought a unique Kobe jersey off him.
No one was there. kinda creepy. especially with the old fireman who walked in behind me n my son and asked if anyone was there ?? then said something about having the guys over for a party. just strange and awkward and inappropriate. I had my 13 year old son with me - was just the two of us. there was no one else in the building the entire time. we only stayed one night.
