About this cottage rental

• This Coach House is located on a quiet two-acre property with breathtaking views of the Okanagan Lake and mountains. We are a short 5-minute drive down the hill to the cleanest beaches on Okanagan Lake and "Swim Bay" (with the only lifeguards on the Lake). Take a stroll along the Centennial Walkway waterfront path through our quaint downtown, and enjoy a variety of wonderful restaurants, pubs, ice cream shops, and unique retail outlets. We are within 10-20 minutes of numerous wineries, Okanagan ATV Tours, beautiful sandy beaches and the ZipZone - the highest & fastest zipline in Canada! The Little House is an ideal base from which you can explore all of the sights and activities that the Okanagan Valley has to offer. We are walking distance to the Parrot Island - Exotic Bird Sanctuary as well.
The Little Guest House has an open floor plan for the main living area: living, dinning, kitchen area. There are two bedrooms, each with their very own full bathroom and private balconies. Each bedroom has a queen bed and one futon that can sleep two children or one adult.
Maximum occupancy in The Little Gest House is 6 – 8. We provide all the linens & towels, a well equipped kitchen as well as 1 tank of propane for the BBQ.
Ideally situated in the heart of Okanagan wine country, midway between Kelowna and Penticton, we are 45 minutes from the Kelowna International Airport (YLW), 25 minutes to downtown Kelowna, 10 minutes to West Kelowna and south of us (to fabulous beaches!) It is 20 minutes to Summerland and 30 minutes to Penticton.

We had a wonderful stay at the Carriage Home. Our group consisted of 4 adults and 2 children (6 years old), and the home perfectly accommodated us. It was very clean and had all the amenities we needed, making it ideal for two small families. The two bedrooms are identical, just mirrored, which added to the convenience. Beata was incredibly accommodating with our arrival time, especially considering our route was affected by wildfires. We would gladly stay there again and even wanted to extend our trip, but the unit was already booked. We highly recommend this area as it offers plenty of activities for both children and adults!

Second year staying at this property, and just as great as the first. Although we were sad leaving, we’re already looking forward to returning same time next year. The property is well appointed, meticulously maintained, and close to beaches, hiking, supplies and restaurants. Beata is a wonderful host.

The coach house is located on a hill above Peachland in a quiet, beautifully landscaped properly with grape vines and flowering bushes and plants. Inside it had modern decor with everything so new and clean. Beata was very friendly and helpful and she was very kind in giving us a bottle of wine and some of her freshly grown organic vegetables which we really enjoyed in our salads. Peachland beach is a lovely walk along the Okanagan Lake. We also enjoyed visiting a lovely ladies shop and an ice cream store along the beach area. Just south of Summerland we visited Sun-Oka beach park which has a sandy beach with shade trees on the beach. There were kayaks, canoes and paddle boats to rent. Across from the beach up a hill was Summerland Ornamental gardens which is a lovely botanical garden with trails. The coach house is a good location for visiting many beautiful places and trails in central Okanagan. Thank you Beata for your hospitality.

We have stayed in Peachland a number of times but this was our first time staying at this vacation rental. When entering Beata and Darek's Coach House it felt so cozy and just like home. We were greeted with a lovely welcome note and a bottle of wine. A perfect way to start a week in the Okanagan. Everything was sparkling clean and so perfectly appointed, it was like being in our own kitchen...only better! The view from the Coach House is spectacular beginning with their private vineyard, beautiful gardens and views of Okanagan Lake. It instantly felt like vacation. This alone would have made our stay perfect however, getting to know Beata and Darek made it truly special. They were such friendly, wonderful, and enjoyable people. This will definitely be our go to vacation stay destination and I feel like it will be like catching up with old friends. Thank you for the great memories Beata and Darek.

Our family of three and our collie had one of our “best vacations ever” staying in the Coach House in Peachland, BC in early June. It is well-designed and appointed, immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, and private. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the beds are very comfortable. Parking is immediately out front, and is shaded by the cottage. There is a large lawn adjacent to it. When we arrived, we were welcomed with some Perrier, a nice bottle of wine, and a fridge stocked with some essentials, e.g. milk, condiments. Beata is a wonderful host. Responses were prompt and pleasant, and she was available to address any issues. Reserving the property, checking in, and checking out were quick and easy. As we left, we told her we’re booking same time next year as soon as reservations open. Located above Peachland, the Coach House is convenient to the beach on Okanagan Lake, historic sites, wineries, and hiking trails. We walked and hiked with our dog every day. You have all the benefits of a small town but (bigger) city shopping and restaurants are only 12 – 20 mins away. We’re fans of President’s Choice, and shopped our groceries at Real Canadian Super Store in West Kelowna. We were impressed with Mexican take-out at El Taquero in Kelowna, and cinnamon-sugar bannock bites at Kekuli Café in West Kelowna. So much so, we stopped for bannock sandwiches (and scones :-) at Kekuli Café in Merritt on the way home.

We stayed here when my husband competed in the Penticton Ironman. The location was great. Drive was easy to get to Penticton and Peachland was right there. Amazing views. Beautiful suite.
