Perfect place in Sciacca

The staff are fantastic. Friendly, helpful, great tips for activities and where to eat. They helped me with getting food from a supermarket and some medicine from a pharmacy one day when I was not feeling well. They are super generous

Highly recommend.

The two owners could not have been more helpful. They saved a parking space for us when we got lost in town traffic and made lunch and dinner reservations for us. Exceptional service and a beautiful, unique room. Highly recommend.

Amazing stay in Sciacca

An amazing experience. Everything was perfect! The bedroom (Nina), the house, the emplacement, the comfort, the breakfast and especially the welcoming hosts, Ignazio and Simone. They made our stay in Sciacca a memorable experience. They gave us really good advices for the restaurant and things to do around. We spent two nights there but we wish we stayed longer.

Stunning rooms in the heart of the old part of Sciacca, excellent location, exceptional hosts!

We cannot recommend Domus Aleria highly enough! If you are looking for a beautiful, romantic place to stay with a uniquely Sicilian environment this is the perfect spot. I would recommend people visiting Sicily to go to Sciacca just to stay here! The rooms are gorgeous. Ignazio and Simon have worked to preserve a stunning old apartment close to their hearts with gorgeous tiling, stained glass and beautiful balconies while adding contemporary (but very much complementary) modern adornments which actually highlight the uniqueness of the original design. One of the days we opted not to sight-see just so we could rest and relax in our beautiful room. Ignazio and Simon were warm, welcoming and generous in offering us details about Sciacca, the surrounding area and their recommendations tailored to what we were looking for. We were so sad when we had to move on.

Superb place with fantastic hosts.

Brand new stylish interiors in an old building, centrally located. Room was large, high sealing, very comfortable bed, high quality art on the walls. Attention to every detail of furnishing and decoration was very impressive. Ignazio and Simone are fantastic hosts, friendly, welcoming and helpful. We've got recommendations about dining, advice on many things in Sciacca. The breakfast is a few steps away at the nice cafe next to the cathedral. The town, with its rich history and interesting sites, is full of unique character. Central location means a parking situation is, well, a situation. Prior to arrival we've got detailed instruction about our parking options, and Ignazio solved the issue by parking our car. All the rest was simply perfect. We had a great stay thank to Ignazio and Simone.

The street has many restaurants and shops, and on weekend there was more activity than we expected, so be ready to deal with some noise.

Highly recommend this property.

Very friendly, helpful hosts. They have done up the property beautifully, the fridge was full of drinks for us, there was a coffee maker and a kettle for tea. They upgraded us to the suite so that we had a living room as well. Lovely to have the space. We enjoyed the little balcony to sit out on too.

friendly hosts and nicely done renovations

Simone and Ignacio did a great job renovating their grandmothers apartment. They are also friendly and helpful hosts. All beverages were free in fridge.

our room had the bathroom far away from the bedroom and shower which was awkward. More shelf space in bathroom would be good.

Beautiful place to stay, you won’t be disappointed! I would recommend you stay at Domus Aleria

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Domus Aleria. The property is very central. Ignazio was quick to keep in contact with us and provide us with parking information which was helpful. They were both friendly , attentive and provided us with advice and helpful information about the area. Also we appreciated recommendations for eating and even making a reservation for us. The property was beautiful and decorated to a high standard. It was super clean and everything you need in the room. A good sized hairdryer too.

Fabulous!

Excellent accommodation! A warm welcome from Ignazio and Simone and perfectly appointed rooms. The rooms are an eclectic blend of new and original features, the shower was very good, the bed was very comfortable and there was a well-stocked complimentary minibar. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, providing lots of information about Sciacca and Sicily.

Only one small thing - the breakfast is at a nearby bar, which gets very busy at the weekend. It was a bit daunting the first time. Very good coffee and pastries though!

Stylish makeover of a gracious family home. The rooms are bright and inviting. Simple luxury and perfectly styled. Our hosts Ignazio and Simone are beautiful people who provide their accomodation with love, respect and pride. We had a very special experience meeting them and enjoying their hospitality. Sciacca is a great little city. We were sorry we didn’t stay longer. Great tip from our Hosts - was to take an APE tour with Francesco, which they arranged for us (along with our dinner reservations)

The property is beautiful. We felt „lost“ (in a positive way) within a beautiful design, Sicilian style! So exquisitely decorated, and so clean! Ignazio and Simone (the owners) are amazing, so welcoming, so carrying and kind. We love them! Everything was superb and we cannot wait to go back.🫶🏻

The stay at Domus Aleria was truly amazing! The room was beautiful and elegant. The story behind the B&B is touching and adds to the experience and feel of the place. Ignazio and Simone are wonderful and kind people, and staying with them really felt like being part of their family <3 They helped us with absolutely everything, including arranging for a dentist appointment. The location is great and makes the perfect starting point for exploring Sciacca and the surroundings. We did not want to leave and can’t reccomend staying here enough!

The apartment is very stylishly decorated with everything thought of to provide a comfortable stay. Simone was incredibly helpful and attentive - ringing restaurants to book a table (even hand delivering me), getting car out of tight parking space, checking in to make sure everything was going well.

Everything here was excellent. The hotel stands out from what we've seen so far. The hotel is perfectly designed and decorated with exeptional taste. The owners - Ignazio and Simone - very easy get along with other people. They were really helpful when it comes to describe the city and its offer. We regret we spent only one night. Relaxing at Domus Aleria!

Ignazio and Simone are gracious and exceptional hosts. We arrived later than planned by touring bicycles and Ignazio was waiting and welcomed us with open arms! He shared how after 20 + years in Rome, and being in COVID lock down, they knew it was time to quit hectic Roma jobs and move back to Sciacca to renovate Ignazio's grandmother's home and become Fantastic hosts at Domus Aleria. All the rooms' furnishings, fixtures, and spaces are exquisite and functional. Bravo Ignazio and Simone for a wonderful space you two have created Gracie Mille!

A great experience!

Lovely little hotel located at the best address possible. The owners / staff were amazing making reservations and guiding me to a nearby restaurants, showing my around etc. I strongly recommend this hotel och will for sure stay there again!
