Had a lovely time would stay again

Room was lovely staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was brilliant!

The listing by booking .com was not clear Listed a double bed and futon this was not available and the futon is only child size apparently had the other room it been free then there would have been a real problem, as much as I love my boss it was not appropriate to share a bed with her!

Warm cosy pod

Great friendly staff, excellent cooked breakfast. Warm cosy pod. Pods are great for a night or two.

Bathroom mirror very small and difficult to adjust. Could do with somewhere to put wash and hair things in shower. Carpet looked like needed cleaning.

Perfect way the breakup our journey to Latitide Festival

The family who run the pub are very welcoming and the price was reasonable. They also have a great 80's playlist :)

The location was good for me.

Cabin tiny with small bathroom. No room to put things and the bedding definitely seen better days. Couldn't check in till after 5pm. £50 would have been a reasonable price

Perfectly adequate

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and warm. It is obvious the place is undergoing some decorations and the potential is huge. Plenty of car park spaces

We booked a room for 3 adults but it was a double bed and a small camp bed. The owners offered to move us to two separate rooms. Despite telling booking.com the camp bed is not big enough for an adult they still list it as suitable for 3 adults. Not the fault of the owners.

Breakfast was one of the best we've ever had, range and quality of ingredients was superb. Staff were all friendly and made us feel very welcomed. The room was absolutely spotless. Location is perfect. Will definitely be returning.

fantastic food ,very friendly staff the only thing stopping it getting 5 star was the water leading in to the pod froze twice ( the temp was very cold ) and they did free it for me ,just a slight inconvenience

The staff are lovely and the room was clean with an extremely comfortable bed. The usual tea and coffee were provided along with 2 bottles of water. I had a cooked breakfast which was excellent. If I had to criticise at all, there was no shower mat nor any toiletries provided, and only half a shower door. This had possibly been removed because of lack of space. However this did not detract from my stay

Made to feel very welcome by the friendly owners and staff, who provided an excellent evening meal and scrumptious break

Very convenient for visiting friends in nearby Leiston. Quiet location away from the pub itself. A novel approach to Bed and Breakfast by providing Hobbit Pods.

Needs a lot of maintenance and TLC by the new owners, who are clearly enthusiastic about upgrading the facilities.

Small chalet, friendly staff.

Nice chalet adjacent to the pub, but separate from it so no pub noise. Small but reasonably comfortable. Very small ensuite shower room, useable but small. Staff friendly and helpful, breakfast good.

Spacious room in private grounds shared with 2 other chalets. Room clean and large shower room.

Had a tiny travel kettle allocated to the room which didn't allow you to pour the hot water as the cable was too short and fixed into the device. Accident waiting to happen there! Didn't have the breakfast and no offer of a refund suggested.

This was an unfriendly, extremely disappointing stay.

The design of the room. There is nothing else to mention that was positive about this stay.

The first contact with the personnel was disappointing as the receptionist was drinking with a group of unfriendly people who were questioning us in an aggressive way and later in got in a drunken fight between themselves in the car park. We ordered breakfast for 8am and the receptionist confirmed it, but at 8:30 there was still no one there for checkout or in the kitchen. No one answered the phone or our email asking for a breakfast refund later. The sheets were smelly, there was no shampoo, no soap, no shower gel, etc.
