Exceptional

We had a lovely stay at The Cottage. It has a beautiful location right by the river. We found the cottage cosy, clean and so well equipped. All the bedrooms had comfortable beds and the shower was great too. We had a really wonderful week staying here and felt right at home straight away. We enjoyed many walks straight from the cottage and walking across the causeway to the pubs in Noss Mayo. We will definitely come back and stay here again as we didn't want to leave.

Excellent cottage in amazing location!

The location is amazing!! Right next to a fantastic pub that is both dog and family friendly. Really easy walk to the estuary. Loads to see within a short walk. The house itself is so comfortable and quirky. Kitchen was so well stocked with equipment and essential ingredients with a few extras too! Also the hosts were lovely! Pleasantly suprised by the parking, plenty of it with time restrictions but never saw a parking warden until packing up this morning. So handy to have shower room downstairs and bathroom (extra deep square bath) upstairs with essential toiletries in too as a lovely touch.

Very little!! The 4th bed isn't really a 4th bedroom, but thankfully kids were happy sharing.

Perfect location for a holiday and base to explore this delightful area.

Great location near the bottom of Newton Hill, close to the water and Dolphin pub. Large really well equipped kitchen dining room and a good sized lounge, light and airy, and comfy. Good wifi even though the description indicates no internet. Warm and there’s a log burner for cold nights.

Parking can be a bit of a challenge. There’s a number of nearby short term (45 minutes) parking spaces ideal for loading & unloading. The restrictions don’t apply between 1800 and 0900 so with some planning it’s ok. We parked up the lane where there are no restrictions. We saw a parking warden every morning. It was no problem for us. The bathroom downstairs is a wet room (open shower) which is fine if you’re first in.

The kitchen was very well decorated and spacious. It had little touches that made our stay even easier. Loved that it had a little bath in the bathroom. My godson loved this. The area is beautiful, and we ventured out every evening for one of the walks that were left in the welcome pack. We all really enjoyed ourselves and didn't want to leave.

Fantastic cottage in a beautiful location

Hi, this is definitely the nicest stay I have ever had. The cottage is beautiful, very well equipped, spotlessly clean and in a fantastic location next to the creek Fantastic pubs with excellent food on the doorstep. Highly recommended and definitely will be going back again.

we had a lovely weekend in this pretty area and felt extremely cosy and comfortable in this lovely cottage

This a beautiful cottage in a stunning location. it is extremely well equipped to a high standard. we were only there for 2 nights and would have loved to stay longer.The owners were extremely helpful and their guide book was clear and useful. we enjoyed lovely walks around the creek and had a good dinner at The Swan Inn.

A lovely cottage in a super location but the constant smell of sewage too the edge off of our stay.

Grandma, pop's mummy and Olivia all loved our stay here.

Centre of village, a stones throw away from the river Yelm and Dolphin Pub. Plenty of character in the cottage, but thoroughly modernised...and done very beautifully, with mellow colours and beautiful woods....it was top-notch! Well equipped throughout and very comfortable.

Small steps between bedrooms and landing. Beam in kitchen.

A fantastic cottage for a holiday or short break that is centrally located within Newton Ferrers.

My wife and I had a fantastic 3 day stay at this lovely cottage that was superbly presented and in a great location. From check in to check out we could not fault our hosts or the facilities that were on offer within the cottage. The kitchen, white goods, cooker and utensils/ crockery are all new - as is the majority of the cottage's furniture. In the evening it was so nice to light the log fire and relax with our dogs in the very comfortable lounge while watching the large multi channel TV with a few chilled wines!
