About this apartment rental
On the top floor of a beautiful 1900s building, we find Blonde Venus. We love its roomy terrace with views of Berlin, perfect for warm summer evenings - as well as its location in funky Kreuzkölln, which lies in the intersection of Kreuzberg and Neukölln. This three-bedroom home has a lot of charm, especially when it comes to all the intact characteristics that allude to the building’s past.
Home truths:
* Neither of the bathrooms have low-voltage plugs
* The lift is not suitable for wheelchairs
* When we visited, we saw some scuff marks on the walls
* Because the home isn’t baby-proof, the host has decided to rent it out to adults and older children only
* Bedroom 3 is on the smaller side
* Tall people be aware - the shower in bathroom 2 is only 195 cm tall
* The double bed in bedroom 2 can be pulled apart to make two single beds
* There’s no AC - and since it’s the top floor flat, it can get hot in the summer months
* Kreuzkölln is on the up, but it's not quite like Kreuzberg yet
