I loved my stay at Charlies guest house I will definitely visit again.

I loved the shower its was quick and easy to get my water temoerature and pressure correct. I loved the pool and the patio area the staff was very kind and welcoming. Iloved their warm sheets especially in this cold weather.

I really wish there was a heater though even though the blankets were warm enough.

Friendly staff and they show everything necessary to make it feel like home

They were very friendly and helped us a lot. We appreciate the comfortable stay and it was so quiet and peaceful. Thank you to Charles and Mel and the staff.

friendly staff, even the owner. place is neat, clean linen and comfortable beds.

cleanliness and in a good and secured area, with security patrollers around every hour, that makes it even more safe. Friendly staff, they waited for us even though it was beyond the check in time, they also tried to contact me to check where we are.

Close to surrounding facilities.

2 night stay, bedding was not made after the first night. Gardens need attention, looking out the windows of the room the Gardens seemed unkempt.

A haven of peace

Super-friendly and helpful hosts who went above and beyond - like waiting up till late to let me in after very delayed flight :) The SOLAR POWERED GENERATOR which provided electricity during loadshedding periods - essential and rare to have in accommodation at this price! Fully working Wi-Fi. The apartheid history and decor of the place. The swimming pool, beautiful garden and terrace area to soak up the sun. The super-comfy bed and cozy room. Perfect location.

Nothing. Except that I wish there were more guests who would stay in this undiscovered authentic gem! It's deserving of so much more.

I had the kitchen room which was very good value for money, Though the oven was difficult to work

Good and safe location, however, there is a lot of room for improvement on customer experience.

The bedroom was well made and clean at check-in, and the location was safe and convenient as it a walking distance to a shopping mall and a few minutes drive to Sandton.

The staff was not well trained on customer service delivery. Not only were they unable to cater to our needs fully, they were unable to address us professionally as guests. The room was not cleaned during our stay, although there was evidence that the staff had entered the room during the day while we were away.

Comfort, price, area, cleanliness, staff should have an option above exceptional, it's quiet, beds are super comfy, staff outstanding. Worth every dime and more. In fact I initially booked at Broadlands apartments and was messed around by the host, bookings.com helped me find this gem and was probably the best thing to have happed to be relocated to Uxolo, do yourself a favour and give them a try. YOU WILL BE BACK.

With the power outages from Eskom the lack of alternative power is a big let down. One evening we arrived at 8pm as the power left ans we could not prepare dinner until after 10pm. Staff had gas stove but no matches. The generator was not working so every night we had to be in the dark until power was restored. That was the biggest let down.
