Not just one of the best places I stayed on my recent Camino, but one of the best places I’ve stayed in any of my travels. Absolutely beautiful property in an excellent location. Very comfortable with all the amenities needed, including a coffee maker, washer, comfortable bed, and great showers. I also like the fact that the windows opened up onto the small square the house shares with the town library and tourism office. It was nice hearing pilgrims come and go for a few hours in the afternoon to collect their certificate. Otherwise, the house is about as quiet as it could be, and we had no problem at all sleeping at night. Alberto is also a very kind and helpful host.
I liked everything!

La ubicación muy buena
Estaría bien poner un espejo en la zona del salón-cocina para la persona que duerme en el sofá cama de abajo.

Property very clean. Bed comfortable. Short wait for host to arrive with key, but I had arrived earier than expected, but was still allowed to check-in. Location good, just off main harbourside.
Property cold as beginning of October and underfloor heating not very warm. Dark living room with no window other than small porthole in front door. Believe I had booked a larger property, with sea-view, but was allocated smaller apartment on ground floor of complex.

I can't say enough about this place. My husband and I were both unwell and needed to see a doctor. We contacted the property and the owner himself arrived at our door and contacted a taxi for us, waited until it came and gave the driver instructions. The driver was wonderful as well and assisted us with translation at the hospital. The owner offered to pick us up (20km away) when we were ready to come back. We politely declined but he checked in with us to see how we were doing. He also allowed us a later check out time to allow us extra rest time. The cleaning lady was just as helpful and friendly. The apartment had everything you required and looked to be brand new and definitely well cared for. If you are in Muxia I highly recommend staying here.

Host was very friendly.
It is not convenient to have a meal for 3 people. There is one coach and 2 high chairs. One additional small chair would be great.

Really clean, host was all smiles all the time, location is great close to restaurants and shops, beach but far enough to sleep comfortably. All appliances looked cleaned and new, no problems whatsoever. Small but fully functional kitchen, big clean bathroom. Highly recommend, good value for money.

Great central location and nice new renovation. A very comfortable bed with beautiful bed linen and towels. The manager was very kind and hospitable letting me in early.
These are not complaints but just suggestions - there is only a small porthole window in the living room and almost no natural light. The only window in the bedroom is onto the pavement with a lot of passers by so cannot be left open securely. This means there is very little air flow into the apartment which felt slightly damp due to this.
Although there is a washing machine, there is nowhere or nothing to hang washing to dry. As Muxia is the end of the Camino I had hoped to be able to do laundry.
The kitchen needs more equipment - there was only one massive saucepan (for a 2 person apartment) and a small frying pan to cook. Some tea-towels, scissors, salad bowl (microwavable), etc, would be appreciated. There was also only one plug in the whole kitchen so the microwave and the coffee machine can't both be used at the same time.
I hope these suggestions are helpful.
