Clean, bright and tidy. All the necessities provided.
WiFi was good.
Close to town, just a short drive.
We didn’t get on with the shower.
Parking isn’t outside the chalet.
No fault of the property but the turning outside the site on to the main road is dangerous, on a blind bend!

Sundown felt like home from the moment we stepped through the door.
Absolutely perfect for families of all ages. The chalet had everything needed. Paul and Heidi were excellent hosts, easy to get hold of, prompt responses, very friendly and accommodating- nothing was too much trouble. Thanks to them myself and the children have mDe amazing memories on our holiday.
Great location as just outside the main esplanade of Sandown- approx a 15 minute walk.
Lots to do in the local area and surrounding areas. Beaches were just perfect and only a 30 minute drive from East Cowes.

Nice and quiet location, great for the beach which is a 10 minute walk away. Had a washing machine which was great, a very comfortable bed, and a fan which was much needed! We had everything we could possibly need but...
There was no clothes airer that we could find, but as it was so hot everything we washed dried easily on chairs etc!

CHALET:It was a lot more spacious than anticipated, which was nice as we stayed with two children. The look and feel of the chalet was very cosy and nicely painted also. This gave the chalet a nice “home” feeling which gives you a bit more pleasure while staying.
THE KITCHEN: also has an oven, microwave and washing machine, washing machine was a blessing as we were able to take less clothing and clean swimming suits and trunks properly as well as towels which are used in bathroom or on beach.
there were plenty of cupboards for storage of some food and snacks and also kitchenware is also provided (some also for kids). Tip: We mainly used our own towels which we took with us just in case, the provided towels were a little thick so it took a while for them to dry, hence we used our own which were a little thinner and dried a bit faster.
LIVING ROOM: room was surprisingly big and is connected to the kitchen. Has a settee, bar table with two stools and one extra arm chair. the bar table was good to have breakfast or any other meal with a view to the field area and other chalets in the square. There is a TV with most common channels and also possibility to view Netflix. WiFi is provided (shared with neighboring chalet, so speed can sometimes not be sufficient for kids to view things on Ipad. we sometimes used the WiFi but mostly used a hotspot to our phone network to allow more speed.
MAIN BEDROOM: nice big bed and cupboard was plenty big enough to put parents and kids clothes in, room was not large but practically big enough to walk around the bed. to make sure we all slept well we took our own pillows with us. Sleeping at hotels and other locations can sometimes be a pain if you aren’t comfortable with the pillows provided so we just did this as own choice. (nothing wrong with the pillows provided). The bed slept very well and we had a good nights rest everyday.
We have been very happy with how the chalet was prepared and provided. Cleaning services make sure the chalet is cleaned after each stay. if something is not up to standard please mention this to the owners as they pay for this to be done.

Very easy booking, plenty of communication, very clean and comfortable, lovely gestures of tea coffee, bread and milk already for us to use, just like an hotel, I was really impressed with it all
Nothing, there is nothing I didn't like, loved it all
