The room was lovely had everything we needed. When we arrived around 130pm on Saturday one of the waitresses was extremely friendly and helpful.
The food was lovely too. We also had a cooked breakfast on the Sunday morning, which was also very tasty.
The phone signal was poor, a few of the younger staff members were a little unhelpful.
4.5
Absolutely charming. High quality, clean, everything and more that you need in your room. High quality sumptuous towels. Food great. Wine great. Staff fabulous. Will definately stay again. Can highly recommend.

Breakfast is fine with cooked or cold options available.
Seating in the restaurant could be arranged better so that more tables can take advantage of the large picture window - especially at breakfast when the restaurant is a bit dark.

cosy room, great food in the pub restaurant, great location
room was a bit small for the cost

Love how the room had all the facilities you could need. Staff were friendly and the location was beautiful.
I wish breakfast was included in the price. The rooms were quite cold.

Full English was great
Room size is quite small, but manageable

A nice room but it was small and I was kept up all night by noisy guests in the 2 bedrooms adjacent to mine and what looked to be a small crowd of people that had gathered outside playing music. would not stay again.
3.5
good quality fixtures and fittings
I waited 35 mins and still didn’t receive my ordered breakfast. apparently due to an issue with the grill. was stood trying to check out to get to a meeting when they eventually tried to serve the breakfast. no follow up from the hotel or discount offered. very unimpressed with that aspect.

Beautiful warm rooms with high ceilings, and tasteful decor. Products were high ethic. Even foot blanket was made from recycled water bottles. 100% recommended.
Nothing - it was great

lovely building, room was comfy
the dog friendly rooms would be better suited with direct outside access rather than upstairs
4.0
Very welcoming receptionist. We had a really excellent lunch. A good quality, continental breakfast was included, which was a nice surprise as we had expected to pay extra. Parking was right outside the room. The room was quite small but very well equipped, beautifully decorated and everything was good quality. Extremely nice bathroom with a good shower.
The bed was only 4ft 6inches which we accept is a normal size but nevertheless quite small for 2 large adults. Because so many hotel beds are now adaptable as twins or doubles, we have got used to large beds! When we left, I asked if any of the rooms had larger beds and the next grade up do. So would stay here again in one of those rooms.
4.5
lots of character in the building and a high standard of finish to the interior decor

4.0
