Dreams come true

Our butler, Meen, took care for all of our needs. She was amazing! Great breakfast, very clean, very nice beach.

I think it was expansive comparing to other hotels in the area. 15 min drive for fisherman village an 15 min drive to chewang.

מלון יפהפה ברמה גבוהה מאד.שירות יוצא מהכלל. בריכה מדהימה וחוף ים יפה. יש ספורט ימי ( סאפ וקיאק) בחינם. חדרים גדולים, מרווחים ונקיים מאד. ארוחת בוקר מגוונת ועשירה. .

Luxury, relaxing and stunning retreat in Koh Samui

Our stay at Kimpton was an absolute delight, with stunning design and layout, rich and abundant breakfast, and exceptionally welcoming, attentive, and helpful staff.

The beach area was just ok. There are a lot of rocks to be aware of when going into the water. The offered activities and kids club would be even better with wider range and an enhanced quality.

Beautiful place, but not giving a 5* experience.

It is a beautiful property with access to the beach. It had a really great breakfast buffet.

We had great expectations from this hotel, unfortunately it didn’t meet our expectations. We were in several 5 stars hotels in Thailand and they always served you with this feeling, it almost like they were massively short on staff. No one is serving you water, no service on the beach, no extra 5* services, no app (we found that most 5* hotels in Thailand has an app and it make your stay much more comfortable), the lobby is awfully hot and unpleasant to sit there. The stuff was trying to help us, but it was just a mess, they really can’t communicate and their English level is really low (I’ll be fair and say that most places in Thailand are just like that). They declared that they are an hotel for good living and lifestyle and brought Yoga to the hotel routine, the only Yoga class was at 7am, we are relatively early risers and it was still early for us, take that we were on vacation. The 8ball pool next to the pool is in awful condition, and only night activities were the same fire show Wednesday and Friday. About the price, we paid the most for this hotel compare with other hotels in the area that were better and cheaper. If you don’t swim in money to book a private beach access and look for luxury I would recommend a different place.

Amazing staff and facilities but food neds improvement.

Amazing staff and facilities. Rooms are great and the pool area is superb. Kids club is amazing.

Breakfast is good - although service is slow. The Thai food on offer in the casual restaurant is decent but could vary more as it is the same all and very day. The fine dining restaurant is uninteresting and overpriced. On balance, disappointing food that doesn’t live up to the staff and facilities at all.

Great hotel located on the beach Designed very well and super clean

Only 6 beds around the pool that are not in the water so you have to be early to get one! The food and drink are too expensive and mark-up is huge versus what you can get outside! A standard $10USD bottle of wine is $50USD

Over rated and over priced

Over rated and over priced for what u get. Service is poor especially at the breakfast where we had 4 times out of 6 not order a la carte delivered and coffe everyday over 20 minutes to arrive. Room only tidy and never cleaned for a week..I mean for over 200£ x night put a little effort. Staff is smiling ok I get that..but we don’t pay for you to smile only.

Room have very little space for storage..no wardrobe etc. Never cleaned properly but only tided up. Breakfast service is a disaster..I mean once, twice I get u make mistake but everyday? If u cannot deliver then don’t charge 5 stars price.

Great property but just far too many kids with little supervision in all areas.

Breakfast was outstanding BUT far too many kids just running all over the place, unsupervised and touching food all the time.

I wasn't aware that this property obviously advertises so strongly to families with young children. It was bedlam.

Great hotel with slight improvements needed

This hotel has to be one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed at. Impeccable design and taste for decorating and furnishing the rooms. The beach is also very nice, clean and calm for swimming. The main pool is huge and gorgeous. Breakfast is amazing with plenty of choices. The kids club and the nannies who work there truly made our holiday - our son loved going there every day, it's heaven for kids. Spa experience was also great. The bar next to Fishhouse was our favourite, shoutout to O the lovely bartender.

Guest experience could be improved with the hosts reacting faster to requests. There was also not much of a personal touch, our host just passed by us a few times without checking in and asking how we are. We found that a bit strange. We also had problems with the A/C twice and had sleepless nights yet all they offered was a free airport transfer worth 600Bht. The "snake" lights on the palmtrees have cheap effect and they didn't fit with the rest of the tasteful decoration.

Alt. Hotellet er lækkert, smuk have, fin strandsand og alt er pænt velholdt. Super personale og lækkert varieret mad.

At der manglede madrasser på solsengene. Beachbaren kunne forbedres til et mere hyggeligt område. Friskpresset appelsinjuice på buffeten.

Praktisch perfekt.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Lage ist am Rand des Strands und schön ruhig. Die Mischung der Hotelgäste reicht von Familien bis Pärchen, was uns gut gefallen hat. Das Zimmer war gross und gut ausgestattet, jeden Abend haben wir eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit erhalten. Das Gym ist sehr gut ausgestattet und es gab Yoga am Morgen, man konnte Kajaks/ SUPs umsonst ausleihen.

Der Kleiderschrank ist etwas unpraktisch aufgeteilt und fast etwas klein. Ansonsten alles perfekt.

I won’t come back

It’s cost

- Staffs aren’t attentive and friendly in general - No service at the poolside; guests have to fight for the nice sunbed (only 9 of them); no one to welcome you nor take care of you: you hardly see staffs around - at breakfast, you see servicing area with 3 big plastic trays and waitstaffs reorganized used dishes (simply gross) - only 1 box of tissues for the King suite which we just found it ridiculous - they forgot to make up the room one morning - used plates were left outside of the door from late afternoon till next noon still no one picked up - the worst is we had to lug our luggage to our car as we scheduled luggage pick up at 9am, no one came until 09:20 so we managed on our own. The worst of the worst is the staffs at the front lobby saw us doing it and still didn’t offer any assistance - there is absolutely no one experience that we found it amazing - last but not least, the gowns in the room stinks - the most attentive staff was the one who came to our room to check the mini bar and took photos of the mini bar area. He came few minutes after I called guest service to arrange luggage pick up at 9am

Amazing place!

All the staff was very kind. Very relaxing and beautiful place. Wonderful swimming pools, amazing SPA. Very good and diverse breakfast, very fine restaurants. All you can wish for a wonderful holiday.

The air conditioning was difficult to turn off, but the management and staff were very responsive and helpful. The sea was full of algae, but the swimming pools were a great alternative.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Das Personal war wirklich so zuvorkommend. Wir hatten uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Gerne hebe ich Noemi und ihre Kollegen von der Rezeption hervor. Zimmer waren ebenso top, stilvoll eingerichtet und total sauber. Die Anlage selbst ist auch top und wunderschön.

Wir hatten schlechtes Wetter und es wurde enorm viel Müll am Strand angespült, sodass dieser nicht wirklich genossen werden konnte. Essen in den Restaurants ist gut aber sehr teuer.

Passable stay with mediocre food options, the local mosquito problem takes away from the good staff

The view out to the sea was nice, the room was very comfortable and stylishly layed-out. The pool was kept clean.

This is a problem of all of the South, not exclusive to this property, but the mosquito situation really takes away from the hard work the staff puts in. There are swarms of mosquitos waiting outside the room and inside the room there is always one of two lurking that disrupt your enjoyment.

Very nice and special hotel . Enjoyed our stay

Amazing place all the facilities you need , clean the staff was great . 5 pm they have an hour of drink and small treats on the house .

Stunning property. Amazing service, no issues at all. Food was great. Could get pricey however if you eat all meals at the resort. We rented a scooter and ate all meals outside of breakfast in the town. (Breakfast was included in our package and was phenomenal). My only issue was with coffee, took so long to get. I would encourage the hotel to have ready made American coffee readily available so you wouldn’t have to wait 15 mins. Outside of this the resort was perfect. (Beach is shallow and a rocky, but a 20 second away it’s sandy and perfect.

If you are looking for luxury and amazing service this is the hotel to be in . The staff are fabulous the food is great so tempting not to explore the island due to this. Go get your massages on the beach 5 mins from the hotel. Will come back one day Thankyou Kimpton staff

Kimpton Kitalay Samui did not disappoint! Unforgettable vacation!!

The Kimpton did not disappoint. The staff was amazing and super helpful, the food was delicious- every meal was excellent and the swim up pool room and the entire grounds was comfortable and immaculately kept. Loved all experiences, but my massages with Gift were one of my absolute favorites!

Amazing place

Take the room with the Sharing pool. The sharing pool was amazing. The staff will do whatever you’ll ask them nicely. The main pool was amazing too, and you can easily switch between the pool and the beach if you want. Take a kayak from the staff on the beach and go to independent trip

The prices on the sneak bar are little bit high and the menu isn’t so veritable
