A wonderful getaway with the family

Located right across street from lake access, limited access neighborhood. Cute house with loft for the kids, lots of things around to enjoy, like a canoe, kayaks, fishing, hammock, fire pit, patio.

This little cabin is such a unique stay. I loved all the games available for the family to play. The cabin has everything you will need to enjoy your stay. It was very clean. The water access was perfect for the family too. We loved it. We would most definitely book this spot again. 😊❤

Great stay!

The cabin is older, but was decorated very nicely, the new addition with the extra room really made the place seem more spacious, the property owner was very easy to talk to. I had my grandson who is almost 2 and the cabin was equipped with a baby gate and a pack and play as well as child friendly dishes. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Exceptional

The cabin was great. Everything was clean and comfortable. We felt right at home. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable and the cabin exceeded our expectations! It was wonderful value for the money!

Our stay was too short and we can’t wait to come back!

Despite cold and rainy weather for half of our brief stay, we could see how the hosts have many options for outside play and quality time! The interior of the cabin was very comfortable for our family and we really appreciated the game cabinet and table which delighted and entertained the children and provided some respite for the parents.

My husband is tall (over 6’) and hit his head on one of the lights in the kitchen on several occasions. Probably easily resolved and not a common concern, unless your 6’ tall.

We had a great time and the house was clean and we felt safe. Thank you for a great weekend.

The owner was very easy to communicate with. She was friendly and made entrance to the house very easy.

Upstairs was pretty hot even with the window unit.

Great communication and a pleasant, cozy stay!

Incredible communication with host! On a trip to Fredericksburg, we decided to spend a few days in Grandbury and happened upon this place. Now I wish would have booked my days here! Very comfortable and cozy. Greats place for kids and adults. Will definitely be back!

I thought it was a great house to come to to visit just stay with my grandkids and I think we really had a great

The rocks leading up to the stairs could be difficult for an older person like myself. The drive way was a little steep, but other then that, the house was quite nice.

Cute updated yet still-rustic cabin with great outdoor space for kids and adults

Adorable updated decor with lots of cabin/lake themes. Designer-quality linens on beds, nice modern kitchen with Keurig and all the cooking supplies you could need! Nice huge fridge and floor space to set coolers and bags. Roomy dining area and living room (we had 3 adults, 3 kids ages eight, six and four). 2 people could crash on the sofa if needed. Kids enjoyed trying the foosball table, and they loved going upstairs to their little bed spaces, and the backyard space to play in, esp the round swing and bucket swing. We all loved sitting around the firepit at night, snuggled in blankets (it was chilly). Much appreciated the few toys in the liv room for the kids. The second deck was useful and the party lights fun and made backyard safe to use at night. Owner/contact was very helpful and responsive to our every need, esp in how to use the ac/heating "splits" on the walls, and our wasp issue. Ceiling fans helped keep temps more comfy. Lots of scrub-oak and trees around property gave it a nice country, private feel.

Bathroom is tiny and challenging for six people; in need of towel hooks, better shelving, a GFCI outlet, and an adult-height mirror. Door scrapes the vanity when you enter, challenging for the kids. Need more detailed instructions on how to use the wall "splits" for a/c or heat, and we fiddled a lot with them to get comfortable, but finally got it on 2nd night. Front deck and stair railing rickety and had wasps issue, so we didn't use it. Downstairs bedrm needs a bench or folding luggage rack. Internet connection slow at best, so live tv viewing wasn't possible (buffered constantly) Outside stone paths quite uneven so I had to avoid them due to unsteady mobility on my part.
