On recommande vivement!
C'est très dur de quitter ses hôtes quand on est si bien accueilli ❤️

Food is just graet there, best home made. It is right in the natur with some shops also near.

Great place to stay with amazing friendly people.
Breakfast is super tasty and really generous, dinner was also excellent.
This is the best place we have ever been.
Thank you so much!

We booked for one night and stayed 3 at this and authentic beautiful homestay. We are here for all our meals and all the food was home cooked and prepared from scratch using fresh local ingredients, there was fresh juice and home made chutney and so many little things that made the food great! We shared interesting conversations all together each evening and found a genuine connection with our host Venicia and it was her that really made this place special more than anything else.
If you read through some other reviews you’ll learn that the property is really close to a bus stop making it super easy to get to Dambulla and Sygria. There is also a river called the Dambulu Oya a few streets behind her house so you can go for a walk in the peaceful neighbourhood.
I wish we could have stayed here for longer. Our stay with Venicia will be one of our best memories we have here in Sri Lanka. She is such a kind and open person. We were lucky enough that our stay overlapped with one of her English classes where she tutors local children and sings nursery rhymes with some of the younger ones. She is encouraging local kids to enjoy learning English before it becomes a mundane and compulsory task at school. How amazing is that!
We will leave our long post here. If you’ve managed to read this far, we hope you enjoy your stay here and the genuine connections you make in Sri Lanka.
Couldn’t fault it

The house is in very nice surroundings, so you feel like in the middle of the jungle. The bus stop is very close, so the distance from Dambulla is not an issue at all.
The higlight of this stay is the family. I haven’t met more helpful and kind hosts as they are. They helped us with trip planning, transport and they have also given us nice honest tips what to avoid and what not. They have even accompanied us to the bus stop, and helped us catch the right bus each day!
The dinner and breakfast was like a feast. They have served us delicious local food, that varied every day.
If you plan to stay close to Dambulla and Sigiriya, definitely book this one!

It is a wonderful place and we really enjoyed our time there, so much that we extended for one more night.
At the beginning we didn't find the place because the location on the map wasn't correct (that's the right place: https://maps.app.goo.gl/NvwHGEhmiR8QoXxs5 ) but wishwa picked us up and showed us their house.
The room was nice, the best thing on our Stay have been our Hosts, very friendly but unintrusive at the same time, since we had time to explore the Area, Wishwa showed us an nice spot for swimming in the Dambulu Oya River and on the way he explained about the different plants that Could be used in the herbalmedicine. His mother Venitia cooked delicious breakfast and dinner (for a good price) and showed us how to cook this sri lankian dishes.
All together we had a great time on this wonderful place
