My family stayed in two bedroom apartment and it was so spacious one. And we had dinner. Steak was great.
It was very old and rustic house. So smell was not good inside.

Location was good.
Could do with a bit of dusting.

This hotel is in a great location, if you like hiking and a quiet environment. Staff was very helpful.
Since we had extremely high temperatures it would have been nice to cool down over night even with just some fans. There was no escaping the heat since our rooms where an attic unit.

The best Zwiebelrostbraten I have ever eaten.

the rooms were across the road from the restaurant.
for the price, there is nothing to complain about .
But the MISERABLE welcome ( or lack of welcome) from the blonde woman in the restaurant kinda set a bad tone for the experience.

The room was clean
I paid more than the price on Booking.com
Instead of 75, I paid 85 euro, 10 euro more!!!
The bed was not good, not so comfortable

A beautiful old building, every room was different.
Breakfast was in a separate building across the road.

A very strange sense of hospitality
The owner is bashing at the door like a maniac at 9.30 am. To tell you to pay and leave... Even before the supposed check out...
Never experienced something similar.
Absolutely crazy !!

Loved the cleanliness of the appartment that we rented for our family of 6 people. The Auberge is just a few minutes away from the Rheinfalls in Switzerland. Owners and staff were very kind and helpful even though they spoke just a little English. Recommending their breakfast 😋. The omelet was delicious. Danke für alles! :)

Exceptionally clean place (as a clean freak, not even my home bathroom is so sparkling clean)!!! +all necessary supplies: soap, towels, etc.
Trustworthy and super-friendly staff, delicious food at the hotel restaurant (had dinners only) and really good local craft beer (will never forget it). Went to celebrate mother's 60th b-day and received a great ground-floor area allocated for the 4 of us. Had 2 of the rooms facing the main street and can confirm the traffic noise was not audible at all - very good insulation from windows and walls. Felt like princesses and princes for the whole stay. Highly recommend coming back there anytime. Proximity to Switzerland is key too, as well as the parking option. BIG THANK YOU for everything!

We never stayed there, because when we arrived they told us the booking had been cancelled. We had to find another hotel for the next 4 nights!

Breakfast was basic but good. When we arrived there was no one at the reception, had to wait for over an hour before someone arrived.
The restaurant was over the road from the hotel and it was the most expensive meal and also the worst meal that we had on our holiday. Keep away from this hotel.

Pleasant staff. The breakfast was good, in a cozy room decoration. We had chance to have dinner and the food was excellent, but somewhat overpriced. The bath was clean & modern. Countryside charm decoration.
The overall was great, cannot really say we did not like anything. We had chance to have dinner and the food was excellent, but somewhat overpriced. Be aware if you arrive before 17th, might not be open yet, but ok.

Rather expensive meals!

We liked the nice country style and decoration of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and service minded.
We appreciated that the breakfast was served at the table - avoiding the infection risk with a buffet.
The WiFi in the room was very weak and sometimes not working. The bathroom needed repair several places.
The restaurant was somewhat overpriced.

breakfast was fine. Do not drink coffee or tea and was provided with cold milk my staple.
Can't say I disliked anything. slept good each night. mattress was better than home.

This hotel and accompanying restaurant were rustically charming and conveniently located. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was delicious if a bit pricey. The breakfast was generous and tasty. Our space was large and very quiet. Parking was great.
The hotel building entryway had a very strong potpourri smell that was overwhelming. Fortunately, this did not enter our room. Crossing the road between the hotel and restaurant always felt a little dangerous as the curve is blind.

Typically german setting. Good breakfast.
They could not speak any language other than german. We arrived at the dependance, we did not see the sign for the main reception. There were some signs all written in German with various telephone numbers, we tried them all and eventually someone picked up but could only speak German. It took us 1/2 an hour just to be able to check in. Very difficult communication.
