What a great experience. Very relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful garden and pool. It’s like a hidden treasure.
The rooms are very spacious, which also adds a lot of the Tombo experience: the space gives you a feeling of freedom and luxury, it was almost overwhelming. We were with my family of four in August 2024 for 3 nights. My wife and me stayed at the Deluxe Suite. Our kids had Deluxe 2-person room with balcony. Both big rooms, and both very well decorated, really clean, great bathroom/shower, intimate decoration and what a good quality build. The constructions at the whole area are very impressive. You can see it was build with a design well made combined with care and eye for detail.
The breakfast was also of outstanding quality (e.g. they bake the bread themselves). Not sure you can easily find so much quality, combined with intimacy for this price.
They also have an excellent service (paid but good prices) to take you to places like the beach, supermarkets, restaurants, barber etc. Ken, the Tuk Tuk driver is great and always right on time.
The owners and all staff were very friendly and helpful. We felt at home and were sad to leave. So thanks Tombo House for making us feel welcome and allowing us to enjoy it! We highly recommend this place.

It is a beautiful property located in the heart of Diani 12min walk to the beach. Nora and Daniel are lovely hosts that care so much about their guests. The property is sparkling clean and they offer a delicious breakfast with self grown produce and homemade bread. The staff, especially Vanessa were so friendly and Ken, their recommended tuk tuk driver is just the best! We had a great stay 🤍
The walk to the beach is not pleasant but we really enjoyed the privacy of the property location

Хозяева из Германии очень внимательные и любезные. Персонал превосходный. Комнаты хорошие, территория отеля большая,ухоженная,много зелени. Бассейн во дворе. Завтраки вкусные. Очень рекомендую

The pool, the size of the entire space, the spacious rooms and bathrooms, the greenery and the service.
Not much save for that not all the rooms are equipped with air conditioners. As such, it can get a little warm during day.

Personal und Betreiber waren sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Frühstück war super. Es war ruhig und entspannt. Schöne Poolanlage. Anlage sehr sicher.
Es wäre schön, wenn die Beleuchtung im Gemeinschaftsbereich auch nach Barschluss ab 22 Uhr genutzt werden könnte. Ein kleiner Tisch auf dem Balkon oder Dachterasse wäre noch klasse.

It’s a beautiful place in a lush location, with modern design and brand new facilities. They provide a wonderful breakfast and the staff is very friendly. The swimming pool is also beautiful and open 24/7
The location is a bit far from anything, especially if you want to go to the beach everyday.on hot days you may have to take a tuk tuk. If you want to be in oasis away from the beach though, it is the perfect place. Also it is not practical to stay in a room without ac because it will be extremely uncomfortable. We also found the initial room looked very aesthetic but had a lower comfort level (bed comfort, pillow comfort, access to mirrors). Luckily our hosts had a room with ac available for upgrade and we took it which completely changed our experience.

We really enjoyed our stay in Tombo House. It was incredible, you feel in the middle of nature. It was so relaxing and peaceful...
The owners and the staff are great, super friendly and helpful, they also gave us good recommendations.
The pool is amazing too. You can enjoy it during all the day.
Breakfast was tailor-made, so fresh and tasty!!
Beach is 10-15 min walking, tuk tuk is a way to move along the place.
They are expanding to host more people and they are planing to provide a restaurant service at the House.
We definitely recommend this place and i would repeat here again for sure.

The staff was very friendly and the place was very relaxing and beautiful. Breakfast was amazing, by far the best we had in Kenya. Also it was great that the hotel could arrange contacts with cheap transport (tuktuk).
The only downside was that it was quite far from some restaurants (not walking distance) and there is no availability to get lunch or dinner at Tombo House (yet).

We had originally booked Tombo house but due to renovation work the owner Nora kindly moved us to her other property (Villa Ndoto), which was absolutely wonderful. The staff working there were from Tombo house though and we can honestly say they were the most welcoming and friendly staff, they always made sure everything was ok with us. A big thank you to Vanessa, Cynthia and Nancy for being so kind to us. Breakfast was incredible!! Thanks again Nora for arranging an alternative stay for us.
Nothing!

We loved Tombo House. It’s been designed and finished to a very high standard, the rooms are beautiful, the staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. We loved that the rooms have been put together very thoughtfully, with nice toiletries and great pillows and bedding. A lovely place to relax in Diani.

The location and our stay was excellent! Breakfast was amazing, great service, clean, beautiful garden and pool!
Beds are a little bit high and the mattress was hard for me, but that is a personal opinion. Everything else was perfect!

The place was truly amazing, we were like in another world. It was very intimate and the staff was also great. Vanessa who did the check in is truly caring and available and Nora the host is super reactive and available as well.
We had a great stay, and let’s not even get started with the breakfast that was simply the best I ve ever had.
nothing to say

Beautiful garden, pleasant and helpful staff, spacious room, great breakfast
The location is a bit isolated, it doesn't feel comfortable to move around freely as you need to ask someone to open up the game for you every time you want to leave or enter the premises.
The house has a lot of potential, but it was completely dead when we were there. The place has everything to be a proper hotel but instead provides only B&B service, which doesn't make it very comfortable considering its location.

great beautiful place with amazing breakfast - homemade bread, fresh fruit, eggs etc. only a few rooms so felt very private. great restaurant recommendations from the host!
THE ROOSTERS! screaming from 6 am…. No kitchen supplies available. Also, you cant walk around at night, but the host’s recommended tuktuk driver Kennedy was so great and helpful, so we didn’t mind.

the property feels very homely and the staff were very accommodating. But mostly, the breakfast took the ratings off the roof. 10/10 all round!

If you ask why I can write two reviews: luck. I misscalculated a 7 day Safari and I was lucky to get an extra day.
I have been travelling a lot in my life and I can't recall being in such a beautiful place. In Dec/Jan 2022/23 Nora and Daniel have two rooms for their Bed and Breakfast. They plan to expand.
The room was very nice, super clean, wonderfully furnished wirh a bathroom with hot water in huge amount on demand. Great after experiencing lukewarm droplets not enough to rinse a conditioner from the hair.
The garden, pool area as well as the whole plot were very beautifully shaped and invited us to relax at the pool.
Breakfast was from out of this world for me. Fresh brewed coffee, self-made bread, a huge fruit plate, cheese and eggs. Everything very tasty.
We booked a Massage with Edith wich was great.
The staff was also very friendly so we really felt welcome.
We didn't want to leave - but we had to, they were fully booked.
Nora & Daniel: all the best for continuing your projekt. When we visit Kenya the next time: this is the first accomodation we will book!
As we felt out of ths world the commute to the Tombo House included a nice african massage ride to make this more obvious. So this is not a malus, it needs just to be mentioned to make the review complete

The hosts were great and friendly, they were always willing to help with organising activities and transport.
the breakfast was specially made for us according to our preference and they always remembered the preference.
The room was week designed and new with beautiful nature all around, it was such a tranquil stay.

The place is amazing. There are only 2 cosy rooms, so there is a lot of privacy. There is an amazing pool surrounded by nature which is oprn 24/7 and most of the time you have it for yourself. The terrace where breakfast is served is very cosy and stilish and you can enjoy it all day long. The breakfast contains fresh products from the small farm Nora and her husband has and delicious freshly squeezed juice. Staff is really friendly and of course, the owners were lovely and helpful.

Location and set-up is very beautiful. We were the only guests and according to that our time was quiet and relaxing.

My room was lovely with coffee/tea facilities. Outstanding breakfast. Fantastic swimming pool and lovely gardens. Tropical paradise. Very small property, privacy and silence. Just wonderful, like your own little retreat! Looks like in the pictures.
The property is still quite new and they are still improving things. I would suggest more lights at night. You can even go swimming at night (it’s very safe) but some nice lights or lanterns outside would be lovely.

Has the secluded feel of a tropical haven, away from the hustle and bustle, whilst remaining close to restaurants & bars. Nora and Daniel add a personal touch to everything and are attentive to detail. All the staff were lovely and the breakfasts are amazing!
Tombo house is situated off the main road and reaching it involves a short stretch of bumpy road! But this adds to the feeling that you are entering another world

I loved everything about the Property, I wanted to go to Wasini island so I stayed here. The breakfast, Wifi, Host and then Vanessa(very nice lady). They were all so attentive, ever smiling and ready to provide whatever you need.
I’m glad I stayed here, will definitely be back with my boyfriend 😊
The water was salty but I really didn’t mind, wasn’t a bummer for me 😊

Beautiful hotel boutique very nicely decorated in beautiful surroundings. The room was spacious and had everything we needed, the breakfast was superb and the hosts did everything they could to make us feel at home.
Swimming in the pool feels like being in the middle of nature, everything around you are flowers and trees. It’s so peaceful and quiet.
The closest beach is like 10 minutes away walking but we got around with a tuktuk driver that the hosts recommended.
Everything was perfect.

The owners and the staff were super friendly and did everything to make you feel comfortable. The breakfast was amazing with a lof of options and fresh prepared every day (with eggs from their own chicken and some fruits and vegetables from the garden). They even provided home made gluten free bread and pancakes, as I am intolerant. It's a very beautiful place with a stunning garden and really nice pool. We had a great time at Tombo House!
