Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet
Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und durften bereits etwas früher einchecken. Das Personal war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Uns wurden gute Tipps zu lokalen Restaurants gegeben.
Der Strand ist wirklich sehr nah und gute Restaurants sind fussläufig in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Insgesamt war die Gegend sehr ruhig, obwohl sich direkt daneben ein Wohnort der Einheimischen befand. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Empfehlenswert!
Für einen guten Strandabschnitt muss man etwas weiter gehen.

Good location and a minute away from the beach.
The lady who owns the property is very helpful. She ensured to cater to the dietary requirements for my wife who is a pure vegetarian. The breakfast was very nice. Fresh and nutritious. The homemade cakes were an instant hit with us.
The property is secure. Car parking is on the street but is secure enough.with camera coverage.
The rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable.
The lighting in the room could have been better.

Delizioso hotel immerso nel cuore di Nungwi, a due passi dal mare, da ristoranti e dalla via principale del posto. Non chiudetevi nella bolla di un resort, andate a conoscere la realtà locale ! Un villaggio di pescatori a cui fanno da contorno dei bambini che giocano e si divertono con quel poco che hanno, che in realtà è tutto: la gioia di vivere. L’hotel è dotato di ogni comfort, il giardino comune è una perla. La titolare, Elena, è una persona da ammirare. Alla mano, cordiale, pronta a soddisfare ogni tua esigenza ! Elena prepara ogni mattina la colazione e la varietà di torte che propone è sensazionale; oltre a ciò mangerete della frutta buonissima, il passion fruit in particolare. Alloggio stra iper mega consigliato !!!

Vicinissimo al punto spiaggia più selvaggio di Nungwi e alla zona più povera del paesino, che ti permette di entrare nella realtà locale e conoscere le famiglie che la vivono.

Alcuni piccoli problemi strutturali che sono stati prontamente risolti.
Le camere non hanno frigo (ma ci hanno permesso di usare il loro frigo per tenere in fresca delle bottigliette d'acqua, date le temperature esagerate) nè la tv (ma di quella non ne abbiamo sentito la mancanza).
Wifi con ricezione labile dalla camera ma bastava spostarsi un po' verso la piscina e prendeva bene.

A very neat and homely place to stay. The rooms were very well laid out and had both AC and fan. The beautifil decor added that little bit extra to make you feel at home. Immaculately clean with my room being made up every day. The special cakes freshly baked by Elena each day added that special touch .
I was a little difficult to find at first being a little further away from the main centre. But that's not such a bad thing as it was peaceful at night. Unfortunately when I was there a lot of building works were going on in front of the property. (Should be finished soon) so we had a lot of noise during the day.

One of the hotels with the best price-to-value ratio I have ever been to: Very friendly staff, tasty breakfast (fruit, eggs, bread, cake, coffee) and less than 100m away from the beach. Rooms are well equipped and from some of them you can even directly see the sea. WiFi and AC have been running reliably during the whole stay (except for times when power supply has been cut at Nungwi). There is a wonderful rooftop terrace with a magnificient view and a very cozy garden (incl. a small pool). Owners are very dedicated and helpful in case of any problems or needs. All in all this hotel overexceeds the expectations in it's price category by far.
Occassional power supply black-outs and brown-outs at Nungwi (however fully outside the control of the hotel).

Elena, la proprietaria della struttura, è una persona squisita, ci ha dato consigli su escursioni e spiagge e ci ha aiutato a organizzare spostamenti e visite alle attrazioni di Zanzibar.

Jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni z naszego pobytu w Zanzicrown Hotel. Właścicielka tego obiektu okazała się niezwykle pomocna i życzliwa. Cała obsługa hotelu była nie tylko grzeczna, ale także bardzo miła i zawsze gotowa do udzielenia pomocy. Szczególnie chcielibyśmy podkreślić zaangażowanie pracownika hotelu, Nassora. To przemiły Zanzibarczyk, który zawsze starał się sprostać naszym oczekiwaniom i zawsze z uśmiechem na twarzy. Organizował dla nas także wycieczki w przystępnych cenach, korzystając z wiarygodnych źródeł.
Nassor okazał się kluczowy w sytuacji kryzysowej, która nas spotkała podczas pobytu w innym hotelu, Jambo Beach Hotel. Pomimo potwierdzonej i opłaconej rezerwacji, zostaliśmy oszukani i pozostawieni bez noclegu. Dzięki pomocy Nassora i gościnności Eleny, właścicielki Zanzicrown Hotel, udało się nam znaleźć miejsce na jedną noc. Niestety ale na pozostałe dni Zanzcrown był już zarezerwowany. Nassor osobiście dopilnował, abyśmy mieli dach nad głową na kolejne dni i znalazł nam hotel (chodził fizycznie i szukał po okolicznych obiektach, dodam, że był to czas Sylwestra i obiekty były full). Nassor również dopilnował transportu z Paje do Nungwi, dbając o naszą wygodę.
Dodatkowo, hotel znajduje się bardzo blisko plaży, co stanowi dodatkowy atut. Śniadania były nie tylko obfite, ale także wyjątkowo smaczne. Pokoje były czyste, a choć łazienki były skromne, spełniały wszystkie nasze potrzeby. Cały obiekt wydawał się bezpieczny, co sprawiło, że czuliśmy się tam jak w domu. Zanzicrown Hotel zdecydowanie zasługuje na pozytywną opinię, a my serdecznie polecamy go każdemu, kto planuje pobyt na Zanzibarze.

Elena, the owner, is amazing! Both before we came and during our stay, she was a Godsend helping get us reservations at the top New Year's Eve party and then day we were leaving getting my husband replacement insulin for his diabetes. She was a lifesaver. All her team work hard to help in any way, special thanks to Nassar and Omar.
I wish they had basic toiletries like body wash and shampoo but we knew in advance.

Hotel a conduzione famigliare in cui Elena e tutto lo staff ti fa sentire come a casa. Tutto molto curato e ben organizzato, in linea con le nostre aspettative. Colazione molto buona con frutta fresca e sempre una fetta di torta diversa fatta da Elena stessa. La guardia è sempre presente anche se il villaggio è molto tranquillo. Spiaggia vicinissima e non troppo caotica.
Ci sono solo alcuni piccoli dettagli che si potrebbero forse migliorare come ad esempio l'aggiunta di un piccolo stendino o la possibilità a colazione di avere anche un po' d'acqua fresca o un succo di frutta. Per il resto tutto ok.

Localização excelente, muito próximo da praia e de restaurantes com uma extraordinária relação qualidade/preço. O staff é muito disponível e simpático. O pequeno almoço é ótimo. Tudo é transparente a nível de preços, todos estão expostos, de forma clara. E, mais importante, a Elena trata cada cliente como se fosse da família. Muito, muito bom!

Il personale cordiale, gentile e sorridente, ci ha sempre rassicurato sulle nostre preoccupazioni da prima volta in Tanzania; vicinanza al mare, letteralmente a nemmeno 1 min di distanza; colazione spettacolare, tutte le mattine con la frutta fresca e ciambellone o torta fatta in casa; camera ampia e bagno con doccia molto grande; ventilatore che sembrava fosse A/C per quanto potente😂 non abbiamo mai sofferto il caldo!; il letto veniva rifatto tutti i giorni e ogni tot giorni vengono cambiati gli asciugamani
Se devo trovargli un difetto, mi rivolgo a chi non è mai stato in posti come la Tanzania/Africa etc., sono le formichine (piccolissime) che puoi trovare al bagno o in camera ma noi sinceramente ci abbiamo fatto l’abitudine anche perché si sa che non dipendono dai gestori del b&b

Elena and her team ( Naser & Omar ) was very friendly, kind and helpfull. I enjoyed the morning time with the local fruites and Elena’s delicious home made cakes. they will organise your trips and tours during your stay if you ask and they are really professional in it. its a recommanded place for both solo and couples travelers.

The zanzicrow is a beautiful and cozy hotel in Nungwi. The hotel is very close to the beach (you can see it) and to many restaurants. The room is big, clean and organized. We got a bedroom with ventilator, air conditioning and mini-bar, everything working properly. The rooftop is the icing on the cake. Elena, Nasser, Omar and the staff are very kind and proactive. We loved the breakfast and in particular the handmade cakes.

beautiful property. Two minutes walk when you turn left to a fabulous bar just off the beach , which was really chilled . really clean and breakfast was fantastic.
sounds like a small thing but it’s important when getting ready for your day . The room had everything you needed, kettle , hairdryer etc but no large mirror .? would definitely be beneficial to put one in each room .

Interior decoration was very tasteful 👍 Bedsheets and mosquito net was clean and white. Pool area was beautiful to hang out at, and the pool even had changing colored lights at night for a dip under the stars. Room was equipped with an aircon in addition to the fan which helped us through the hottest part of the day. Hotel was just a few steps to the beach, turn left for the resorts and turn right for the local beach

Elena and her group is fantastic, the hotel is perfect and she does everything to make her guests's holiday awesome. She organized all of our programmes on Zanzibar, if anything we needed to, she organized immediately. Highly recommented.

We loved our stay with Elena! The house is very close to the beach with a beautiful rooftop to get some nice views. The staff is super friendly and helpful & the breakfast really yummy (fruits, bread, eggs & homemade cakes). Elena even prepared breakfast boxes for us when we had to get up early to go diving - so nice!
The room was a good size with both Aircon and a safe, which we find important. We also had a big balcony, which was nice. The cleaning staff came everyday so we felt really taken care of.
The garden is quite small but there was a really nice chill out area with couches to hang out and read a book. The pool is very small, so we didn’t use it but this was not a problem for us.
The house is situated in a quieter part of Nungwi where you have to walk about 10-15 min to the main sites. It’s a little off, but we loved it because then we could walk through the neighborhoods where the locals live and not just see big resorts. We felt super safe walking around at night, so it was no problem at all to walk back in the dark.

Our stay at Zanzicrown was crowned with success because in addition to a comfortable, clean room where we felt safe, we made friends for life.
Elena and Matteo are the kind of hosts who provide the tourist with absolutely everything necessary for a perfect stay. We had the flight in the afternoon, but there was no problem for late departure.
Breakfast every morning includes fresh fruit and very tasty cakes made by Elena.
Nassor, Ali (Mister Lover-Lover), and all the staff met here are wonderful people.
We became friends so much that we miss them.
