Loved the location
No light on top landing, felt unsafe on creaky stairs, had to get a torch.
Watered down soaps and washing up liquid - had to hand wash up, as no dishwasher tablets. A number of light bulbs not working on ground floor.

Location and usage excellent
Nothing twice stayed here now and perfect location.
9.0 / 10.0
Property is over three floors, living area and kitchen on ground floor, main bedroom and bathrooms on first floor and another bedroom in the attic. The place is inviting, spacious and well equipped. The location is lovely and very convenient for the cathedral and center.
There's very little not to like

The location was excellent and for a short stay the property itself was fine
The mattress on the bed was the worst I've ever experienced. A good night's sleep is a must anywhere and the bed was terrible
The furniture was cheap and uncomfortable.
On arrival the temperature was 14C. Very cool, and the radiators were cold. When I queried this with the owner he suggested I turn the individual radiator thermostats to max, something I had already done. No other suggestions, even when I told him this had been done. Eventually I messed with the boiler settings and got heat, no thanks to my host.
There were several other small things but please, please replace that dreadful mattress

Fantastic location, very close to the cathedral, shops, bars and restaurants yet pretty quiet. The property was generally well presented and furnished, comfortable and clean.
The shower room shower head needs replacing, there was not enough hot water during our stay and a couple of light bulbs also needed replacing.

Great property and location.
There was nothing we didn’t like - i bought an extra pillow from supermarket as single bed in loft room pillows need replacing.

Though cottage was well equipped, the amount of space was surprising. No outdoor space but that really didn’t matter at there’s a nice beer garden opposite behind a car park. Views from the attic room were just lovely. Great location, easy to walk to the town centre where there plenty to do. Before we arrived the host was great and contacted us prior to arrival with all details we needed to park and enter the property. Toys and games a nice little bonus for the kids.
The attic was extremely hot! I did t want to leave the roof window open as I have 2 small children, also couldn’t turn off the radiator up there. Please provide 2 fans for the accommodation 👍🏻. Ariel for the tv kept coming out so had to keep attending to it to watch tv. No cleaning liquids to give everywhere a quick once over (although the house was pretty clean, I’m just fussy). Shower head did work but would not stay in the holder so you had hold it over your head. Floors and skirting boards a were grubby. Half empty bottles of lotions and shampoos, perhaps left from another guest, if not these should be filled (nicer bonus for your guests).

Nice location in lovely city - close to everything
Main bed a bit small
4.0 / 10.0
Location was great if your main priority was to be close Lichfield.
The first impression was a cold property, which on the surface presented ok. But when we checked the bathrooms we found the toilets to have a black substance in the bowel and the first floor shower looked grubby with yellow staining. The light at the top of the stairs on the second floor was not working which was a not very safe as there was no natural light there.

Location excellent. Car parking opposite property. Netflix provided. All good.
Cannot think of anything that was a problem.

The kitchen and downstairs and TV having netflix and disney. The host was very easy to deal with and responsive to our contacts - great location for Lichfield town centre.
The main bed was very uncomfortable and low to the ground so hard to get out of, the stairs were incredibly creeky which was a challenge with kids up in the top floor but the property was old so maybe should be expected.
There was also an issue with the lights with the fuse popping when all lights were on - finally the dishwasher did not work.

perfect location, lots of places to visit on your doorstep
top bedroom where the kids slept was very hot as it was the loft, however a fan was provided

The location. The cathedral, parks & town just a short walk. The open plan sitting room is comfortable & although we didn’t use the kitchen it had everything you would need. Private parking.
The bed in the double room. It’s quite low & the mattress uncomfortable. The towels which could have been larger & would like hand towels included for each person. The on suite toilet needs to be addressed. The skylight window in the attic bedroom needs a blind. This room was also very warm so a fan would be a good idea.
7.0 / 10.0
The location was excellent being very close to the Cathedral, restaurants and visitor attractions.
The bedroom in the attic was on a different floor to the shower and toilet. This had not been evident from reading the description of the property. You wouldn’t want to self cater as the kitchen was short of equipment.

Good location and ideal place to stay
Towels were not very absorbent and some lights in the property did not work - particularly stair lights to the second floor. A bread knife would have been useful too!

lovely quiet property, quiet location, easy access to town. The host was very helpful and kind when I had to contact him directly with a couple of requests/queries.
no complaints! but, be aware this is a three storey property so plenty of stairs.

Location was fantastic - quiet street, but only minutes from the Cathedral and city centre, with fabulous eating options. Would happily go back if in the area, and recommend others to do the same!
Possibly some instructions for the tv? First night struggled to get anything out of it, second night did get channels, but I thbink having stumbled upon the right combination of buttons by accident!!
